Hi,We want to setup a code repository and start using Version control with eclipse(AEM Developer Tools for Eclipse.) development of CQ components   Can someone please suggest which one should we go for among various tools available like Apache Subversion, GitHub etc. or any other suggestion with some reason.I cannot find a document on Day care site or Adobe help/guide on this topic, if there any please share the link.Thanks!Rohan

Hi Eveyone,  Adobe doc says its using Lucene Based Search. I have few questions on that ->1. No API(CQ foundation search API)/Jackrabbit API seems to call Lucence API internally within source code.2. Foundation search uses XPath query "/jcr:root[rep:spellcheck('jackrabit')]/(rep:spellcheck() for spell checking. My understanding is this XPath query internally calls src/main/java/org/apache/jackrabbit/core/query/lucene/spell/LuceneSpellChecker.java which basically search within the index created via workspace content. Pls correct me if I am wrong.Since this is based on workspace content "did you mean" functionality which uses a jackrabbit spell checked implementation returns different suggestion String for different environments with different content.3. Is there any provision for implementing custom dictionary with the default search implementation CQ Provides ? Hello friends,I am building a relatively straight-forward AEM component with a simple authoring dialog. At the top of my dialog is a select field. I want certain fields in my dialog to disappear when this select field is set to a specific item.I have studied the implementation of the Foundation Carousel component, which uses the cq-dialog-dropdown-showhide-target attribute, which is fine, but isn't quite the logic I am looking for. The logic used there is:show this field if the select is equal to XWhereas I am trying to implement:hide this field if the select is equal to X, Y or Z, otherwise show itHas anyone else had trouble implementing this kind of logic in their dialogs?Thank you in advance!Dave

The closest thing I could found is, com.day.cq.wcm.api.NameConstants but it of course doesn't contain a constant value for "cq" as well as "cq:PageContent".Thanks.

Hi, Is there any way to populate the tags from /etc/tags/mysite/catrgory/category1/.. in my drop down menu inside dialog. With help of json i can populate my mapping json file in option, but looking for any other alternative as if the tags will add and remove json has to be changed from crxde. And this thing should be configure by business user or super user via ui.Thanks

I am trying to create a mapping for geometrixx.com,  I have created virtualhosts entry for geometrixx as my.geometrixx.fr, my.geometrixx.de. When I invoke my.geometrixx.fr it is getting redirected to my.geometrixx.fr/content/geometrixx/en.html. Hi,I have configured a basic form with the "Store Content" action type and have added some default fields (some text, textarea ..) and a file upload field.When checking the data via crxde in the correct location, I can see that the file is uploaded correctly.However when checking the submitted data in the bulkeditor, the column for this field is empty. Is it possible for an author to view the files that have been uploaded via a form and have been put in /content/usergenerated/<path>?

I'm attempting to add ExtJS controls to some of our authoring pages, but running into trouble when it comes to the default CQ CSS styles for the ExtJS components. If i simply create a new ExtJS component and render it to the body, everything looks fine because it is added to a div with an id of "CQ". However if i render it to a specific div in my template, the styles won't be applied because they only apply to elements under the "CQ" div. Hi,I am cross posting this to the Marketing Cloud Forum as well.I am currently creating classification hierarchies for custom variables that were built onto my website.  It is a content site that has videos and games and various other things on it.  As a test, I wanted to take the various video and game names (and other site contents) and dump them into classifications to make an easier to read report.  However, after going through the steps, the new classification report only has one row- "Unspecified" with the total traffic as the metric.  How can I fix this?Here is the process of what I did:Went into report suites, found the Traffic Variable "Page Name" and created a classification titled "Page Name Classification Test."  I also added in optional drop downs such as "Homepage", "Games", "Videos" etc for the different data buckets I want.Went to Classification Importer and Browser Exported the classification from the Page Name variable.  Exported everything at the default settings.I t

I have a somewhat peculiar situation. I track amounts to a Currency Success Event that could result in the Event having a negative value. But Adobe always reports 0 (zero) instead of the negative amount.I am tracking an ecommerce store where the customer can modify his order as many times as he likes, as long as his order hasn't been delivered. I've set up a Currency Success Event to track the revenue differences. So this is how a process could go:Original purchase: $100 --> tracked "100" as regular RevenueModification 1: +$50 --> tracked "50" to Success EventModification 2: -$80 --> tracked "-80" to Success EventDelivered --> no more modifications allowedThe idea for the above is that I use a Calculated Metric to calculate the actual order value, i.e. Real Revenue = Revenue + Success Event. Hello All,I'm building a Report Builder request which requires that a filter for campaign ids be constantly updated. One of my proposed solutions to having ongoing campaign tag parameters included was to make the report builder event refer to a range of cells using the 'contains one of' filter of continually add campaign parameters to the column I had chosen.When attempting to do this I have found that Report Builder is unable to accept a range of cells. Single cells work, but there's no way to fit this volume of campaign tags in a single cell.Has anyone managed to reference a range of cells as a 'contains one of' filter?

I set up a new report suite that contains Mobile App data about 2 months ago; however, I get the attached screen when I go to view Data Warehouse info for this report suite. All of the other report suites within our "company" show Data Warehouse information. Is there something I can do to show the Data Warehouse info for this report suite?

Trying to simply signup. I create an account. But when I try to create a product or sandbox, this is what I see ( attached) Basically it refuses to let me create anything. 

I'm working with selected (filtered) tracking codes with breakdowns, however it's limited to five (5) codes at a time. Is there a way to increase this to all in order to export? Thanks in advanced. 

Hi guys,Quite a lot I am seeing "Low Traffic" value as a number 1 in the report result. I think I have read somewhere that the "Low Traffic" variable means --> values with small contribution. But most of the time the "Low Traffic" value contributes over 90%. (attached pict)Any hint how I get rid of it? When I break it down, it shows "NONE". Currently Omniture code is transparent to main functionality, but still coupled with the web-site code (minimally it resides on web page), which is not feasible for our environment.We have 100+ web applications (10+ yr old), we want to run some basic analytic against them (no. of unique users, total number of hits etc), nothing fancy. Just to see usage pattern around them.Applications are on http protocol, so reading encrypted packet is not an issue.I was wondering if Omniture/adobe provide some sort of network utility to do this?

Hello!My co-workers always use advanced filter in some reports.But she frustrated with SiteCatalyst slowly reaction (even if opening advanced filter window) because of huge database.I knew that I inputted following characters at page report,main question means pagename data includes "main" and "question".If I wanted to filter pagename data include "main " or "question",How should I input filter box without opening advanced filter box?I tried input the box "main|question", but it didn't work.If you had time, could you answer this question? Tomo

Hello,The standard configuration for SC is to strip out query string parameters to a page. This makes sense to record page?cid=test as just /page.However, we have some pages that require taking in a query string parameter in order to serve up dynamic content. How do we make changes to SC to observe those pages as separate pages?Example /page?param=1 and /page?param=2 as 2 separate pages. Also is it possible to limit it to such that only the desired param is listed as the link so links like /page?param=1%unwantedparam=2 is only recorded as /page?param=1My thought is to deploy s.PageName in the custom dynamic content. Any best practices for these kinds of dynamic pages?Thanks!
