Can anyone tell me what the normal process is for raising defect reports for CQ or enhancement requests (with Adobe ?). That is, does Adobe provide a formal route for such requests (is there a URL and a need to register a company SPOC) ?CheersFraser.

The side kick does not load properly. The component page shows a waiting sign but does not load ever. Switching between Design and Edit view also does not work properly. Sometimes, side kick separates into two separate boxes - one with header and one with menu (Component, Page, Information,...). Please see the attachment for more details.

HiAs per my knowledge CQ5.5 doesn't have any servlet engine. So we cannot use it as a portal. To use it as portal we need to deply the CQ5.5 war in a appserver and then we can use it's portal functionality. Please confirm if it is correct. And if I have only CQ5.5 standalone jar file only, can we use it for portal functionality through any configuration or extracting the jar or through any other way?

 I am currently working on integrating CQ and salesforce . Only thing I could find is :  http://helpx.adobe.com/cq/kb/salesforce-aem.html  . Is there any material / reference that can help in exploring in what others options CQ  provides to integrate with salesforce.  I see CQ has inbuilt workflow    salesforce-com-export.html , this is currently used  , even for looking at java docs http://dev.day.com/docs/en/cq/current/javadoc/com/adobe/cq/mcm/salesforce/package-tree.html I don't see much options other than a Lead Search.  Please let me know if there are any other options or ways to integrate CQ and salesforce.  Thanks

I have one requirement to display three most popular digital asset (asset's title and description) in a page. Already I have created two metadata named 'title' and 'description'.Here, popularity is based on how many times that asset is getting accessed.I am thinking to fetch those asset from DAM using xpath query. But, I am not sure how to find out the count regarding how many times that asset is getting accessed.

Hi ,Are there any parameters where you can set a  bundle never to getting reactivated or re-installed during multiple deploys. The reason why we are looking into an option is one of our bundle has a memory leakissue, just wanted an interim solution where i can set a bundle like a supreme bundle which can never be re-deployed.

Hi Guys,I have a fresh installation of CQ5.6.1. I tried to implement few Teasers into our M-site but found that even teasers on Geometrixx site don't come up...Actually it looks like they do come up but only to an extend. I attempted to edit a workflow, started it with a payload, but then got a pop-up error message "nullpointerexception". This wouldn't be a big deal except that now i can't see any workflow items that were previously active. When browsing to the inbox, i see many of these records in the error log -*ERROR* [10.146.77.31 [1377194059167] GET /libs/cq/workflow/content/inbox/list.json HTTP/1.1] apps.cq.workflow.components.inbox.list.json$jsp Unable to process work item: /etc/workflow/instances/2013-08-19/model_18500588996788631/workItems/node4_etc_workflow_instances_2013-08-19_model_18500588996788631 java.lang.NullPointerExceptionThese items weren't using the workflow model i was editing. Any ideas what might be causing this error? Is there somewhere i can clear out all existing active workflow items to see if that helps? For some reason component changes does not get replicated to publish. When in am trying to activate /apps/zzzz I am getting error in logs:21.08.2013 16:38:10.600 *INFO* [87.110.178.218 [1377103088234] POST /etc/replication/treeactivation.html HTTP/1.1] com.day.cq.replication.impl.ReplicatorImpl Replication triggered, but no agent found or selected.I am however able to activate and replicate changes under /content/zzzz (Default Agent picks up the changes).What could be cause of this? How I can troubleshoot the error? Where is config of which Activated changes should be picked up by which agent?

I have a relatively simple component that is constructed out of text and divs, and styled with CSS classes. In a normal authoring page this works great, but when I try to use this component in a teaser, the author sees a completely blank white area with some text in it. The site CSS is missing in the teaser edit page.Of course I can re-output the site's css inside my component in edit mode, but this appears to lead to the CSS being applied twice (or more times) in preview. It causes the page to flicker, and with this solution I have to keep using it everywhere; every component will need to repeatedly output the entire site's CSS just to be usable in the teaser page. Is there a way to map different domain names with the different domains in a site ? (say,.in Geometrixx site ?)So, if I just put "www.geometrixx.de:4502/" in my browser ,it should open the "localhost:4502/content/geometrixx/de.html" page AND so on for the further links.I want to do it using the sling link-rewriter . We are migrating from CQ5.4 to CQ5.5. We have customized form which overlays /libs/foundation/components/form/start. In the CQ5.4 for publish instance, anonymous user has read access on apps and libs folder which are not there in CQ5.5 for security reasons. When we try to use the same form component in publish in CQ5.5, forms based on our component does not work. If the anonymous user is given read permission on over form component, everything starts working. Is there any dependency of read access on form to work.  How can Adobe reproduce the issue themselves, step-by-step?! All the activities are to be done on publish CQ5.5 1. As a result, the final HTML that is rendered to a page does not match what was in the original JSP.
