Hi ,

video component is not working in 5.6.1, is any body using vedio component to play vedio components please help

It will work as long as long as formats are .mp4, Ogg, and FLV. If not file a daycare.

We had a similar problem. It turned out that in design mode there were no 'Video profiles' defined for our video component. Once these were set, video worked fine in all browsers.

By default there are 3 video profiles defined for CQ (Firefox HQ ogg, Flash 7+ low quality,High Quality H.264). You can select multiple for your video component, but if none is selected, then no source is specified for your html5 video element, resulting in no video being shown.
