Hey. My problem is: I've deployed my service successfully. "Services" bundle is active, I can call methods from my deployed service without any problems, but I cant see it in "Services" and "Components" tabs in my Felix OSGi Console. In a page template I have a parsys in which a header component can be dropped. Something similar to this:<cq:include path="parsys-header" resourceType="foundation/components/iparsys"/>How can I configure this iparsys so that when it is empty, the header component can be dropped into it but when the header component is already dropped into it, nothing else can be dropped into it?Thanks.

It is considered best practice to create separate OSGi bundles for the API and implementation of a service. I use multi-module maven projects so the modules are arranged like this :-parent |- all |- config |- content |- services |- taglib |- viewThe 'services' module is where (up until now) I create the service class and its api typically under package names like :-my.company.domain.aem.services.api  -  IHelloWorld.java (interface)my.company.domain.aem.services        -  HelloWorld.java (implementation)However, when you do that and use the maven-bundle-plugin BOTH of these classes will end up in the SAME bundle since thats the default behaviour (scans all src).Whilst its easy to ensure that only the interface is EXPORTED, it really ought to be in its own bundle.It *is* possible to change that behaviour and create 2 bundles using either a separate profile or separate <execution> configuration, but both of these are generally considered to be an anti-pattern.The only other approach

Hello, I have a page that is built with content from other pages using several reference components. But there are a couple of requirements that I'm not sure how to fulfill.1.- When the page is activated the referenced content have to be activated as well.2.- Authors should be able to modify the referenced content from the page.I did some tests with reference components and none of the previous requirements are achieved. Is there any out of the box solution to do this? if not is there any recommended solution of this problem?Thanks, Claudio.

I'm trying to create a very basic custom tag that behaves like a c:if tag but with a built-in condition. The problem is that when I try to load a page that uses this custom tag, I get a NoSuchMethodError when it tries to call setJspContext(). As far as I understand, that only applies to simple tags (i.e. classes that extend SimpleTagSupport). However, as you can see, I extend TagSupport because I need the JSP body-content type. I'm hoping someone might be able to spot a problem in what I've done or shed some light on the situation. All code and stack traces are in the gist linked in the first sentence above. Thanks.

We have intranet system and we want restrict content part for small user group. Hi All,I have created a group in userAdmin and it has some users attached to it.And in my java class I want to get the list of users attached to the group, but somehow I am not able to find any API or some way to find it out.Finding the Group to which a user is attached I know, but dont know how to find out the list of users in a group in my java code.Any suggestion on this will be really appreciated.

Occasionally when trying to save a node in crxde lite, I get an error message that pops up that says "Could not save changes. Received 409 (Conflict) for saving changes in workspace crx.default. org.apache.jackrabbit.core.data.DataStoreException: Could not add record" I also notice the same error in the logs, when the less compiler and the javascript minifier run and try and place the cached file in /var/clientlibs, any idea on how to fix this error?

My requirement is, user will enter userid and this userid will be validated by 3rd party system using REST call from CQ. Now once user is validated in 3rd party system then user should be able to login to CQ. Users will never be stored in CQ. So, for implementation purpose I am thinking about custom login module or custom authentication handler but I am confused whether I need to implement custom login module or custom authentication handler. Kindly advice.  Best regards,Sam

We have a requirement to allow our users to customize on demand the dictionary that the rte spellcheck plugin uses. We've already set up an administration page so that they can easily insert and remove words from the dictionary. This works well except that the changes only apply after the server is restarted. Is there any way we can hook into the process that loads the dictionary to trigger a reload without restarting the server?Thanks
