Hi,I have a question regarding "use of third party jar" in AEM 6.0 SP2. I am listing down steps which i performed, hoping to get some solution :I wrote a standalone java program which uses three jar files internally which i wanted to move to AEM ( wanted to make same functionality as a workflow method)I created OSGI bundle jar (for all three) using eclipse plugin and imported through felix console. Once imported i stopped getting class not found exception for third party jar class in my workflow class.Although my workflow class started throwing exception for one of java specific class (since it internally uses that) : javax.swing.event.EventListenerListThen i came to know that i might need to add my third party jar file as fragment bundle, for it to pick java 7 specific class files (manifest entry) :            Fragment-Host: org.apache.felix.framework; extension:=frameworkAfter making this jar as fragment bundle and several restart now i am getting class not found exception for origin

What is the script that I can extend off when AEM makes a asset preview sort of like a folder thumbnail?Since a preview is not set for certain mime types, particularly XML for my case, I would like to createa preview when an XML asset is uploaded to the DAM. I'm guessing creating a custom Media Handler? Thanks,Ram

Hi team,I have locked the asset by user A, and when i opened the asset by User B i am able to edit some fields like dropdown,rte field and fields inside the fieldset though i can't save it as save is disabled. How can i disable dropdown,rte field and fields inside the fieldset.ThanksKranthi

See attached.Out of the blue the properties is now disabled? when I double click the page, i cannot edit it because the WYSWIG editor boundaries do not show up. It's like a rendered html even on author?This is a critical issue we are facing....anyone?

I have tried to create angularJS app inside AEM with routing . The  ng-view directive is present in index page (to include another page with another template). Added parsys in partial page. Once I add the components in index page, i am unable to edit or delete it from index page. Is there anyway i can edit the component in index page?

Hello Experts !I have a very basic question and need help for that. In our day to day exploration we generally tries to find out what all files are involved in any particular operation (for the purpose of customization). Such as i wanted to find out what is the control flow for an operation (request goes from which JS to JSP to CLASS). What is the best way to do it.Lets say i need to find out where all control flows when we try to upload an asset from DAM before "DAM Update Asset Workflow" gets called.I know, we have damfileupload.js which create dialog for upload and then create upload servlet comes into picture. But how to find the flow and all files. Regards !

Hi,I am getting below error when i try to access the custom page createdCaused by: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: javax.servlet.jsp.PageContext not found by <custom package> [502]        at org.apache.felix.framework.BundleWiringImpl.findClassOrResourceByDelegation(BundleWiringImpl.java:1550)Same error is repeated for all java classes. I mean i created a component and calling java class from component jsp. I am passing currentNode, pageContext etc... from jsp to java class. There are no issues with compilation. But when i access the page with above component getting no class def found for all classes. Caused by: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: javax.jcr.Node not found by <custom package> [505]        at org.apache.felix.framework.BundleWiringImpl.findClassOrResourceByDelegation(BundleWiringImpl.java:1550) Appreciated for any helpREPLY

Hi,I'm trying to login to geometrixx-outdoors via Twitter. Whenever I clicked on "Login via Twitter" button from geometrixx-outdoors home page's sign in component, I'm getting popup window with some errors. I'm using out of the box Twitter configuration only. For facebook I didn't get any errors. I'm able to login via facebook. Hi All,I have a multi field which contains a number of fields out of which one is a datetime field which is declared as belowthis.dateField = new CQ.Ext.form.DateField({                width: 300,                allowBlank: false,                hideTime:true,                listeners: {                    change: {                        scope:this,                        fn:this.updateHidden                    },                    dialogclose: {                    scope: this,                    fn: this.updateHidden                }                }            });The field renders correctly, however when I try to change the date, the date change does not happen and it retrieves the old date value. Hi masters!Anybody has tried to integrate Google Analytics with ‘Generic Analytics Snippet’, in the Cloud Services Configurations Tool [1]? It seems very easy, but I’ve done exactly the steps in [2] and it doesn’t work for me.I’ve followed the breadcrumb till the /libs/cq/cloudserviceconfigs/components/servicelibs/servicelibs.jsp, and maybe this code doesn’t work for ‘generic-tracker’ (‘Generic Analytics Snippet’) configurations. I mean, in line 60, it gets the ‘Service’(s).Service service = services.next();In my case, this service points to ‘/etc/cloudservices/generic-tracker’ (that’s fine!). But later, in line 62, it gets the property ‘libsScript’, which it doesn’t exist.String libsScript = props.get("libsScript", null);It should get the ‘google-analytics’ configuration and then get the ‘snippetCode’ property of that configuration. Isn’t it?Could anybody confirm that this doesn’t work? Are there any workaround (or which is the best one)?Thank you very much masters! Best regards! [1]

Hi,I am working on the Active Directory and have configured LDAP on my publisher local instance, when i make a call to any_url/j_security_check with j_username and j_password (the user and their credentials are stored in AD) with valid credentials i get to sign in and do stuff. But i have a use case where i want the users not to interact with the system until they they verify themselves with the verification link which we generate at the time of their registration. Once they click on that registration link a property is set on the users profile which we use to check whether they can be allowed to use the system or not.The problem is if i make a ajax call with appropriate creds, users can sign in and interact with system. Authentication in my case is ok but Authorization is not. I want to know what should be the best way to solve this problem.Do i have to extend the Ldap login module?  I think No, because it is doing what it is supposed to do.  I want to fail authentication if they are

Hi masters!I've author users who have access to /content/somepath to manage pages. I've created my own author role, which has Read/Modify/Create/Delete permissions on this path.But my authors can't do CTRL+Z to undo changes. I think this behavior is due to missing permissions. I've reviewed the ootb 'content-authors' role, but I can't see any special path in the JCR to enable the CTRL+Z feature for this author users. Could you help me?Thank you very much!

Hello,I am including a component(contact) at the time of page creation like below in the middle.jsp<div class="span9 main-center" role="main"> <cq:include path="content-left" resourceType="foundation/components/parsys" /><cq:include path="content-center" resourceType="components/content/test/contact"/>                        </div>I have one text in the dialog of  incude component its has default text value.I have successfully included a component but the component that i have included does work if and only if I open the dialog and click on ok button Even though I did not changed the text value.If i did not open the dialog of included component it does not works and text will not display default value in the included component section.please help what i am missing.Thanks.

Currently working on AEM5.6.1.version. Configured server and logged into Package manager as admin user. For testing curl commands i created a new package and added filter for this package. While Saving  after selecting filters getting error as "couldnot modify package.Permission denied". Please let us know how to resolve this?

Hi , I am facing the problem right now with opening of pdf files . Whenever I provide a link to pdf present in dam using TextArea , it is opening the file in same window .Is there some configuration which I can do so that it opens up in new window or gives us a pop window asking us to save or cancel the file as happens with doc or txt type of files.
