My requirement is that my scheduled service will run at every 60 mins. I have done that. Now I want to be able to find the assets created in last 60 minutes, I was writing a query for the same.So i created         DateTime dt = new DateTime();        DateTime modified_last_run_date = dt.minusMinutes(60);        DateTimeFormatter dtf = DateTimeFormat.forPattern("yyyy-MM-dd'T'HH:mm:ss.SSSZ")        String last_run_time =modified_last_run_date.toString(dtf);    if I print the last_run_time string to console I get  --  "2015-08-19T17:38:36.221+0530" However when I write Query :  SELECT p.* FROM [dam:Asset] AS p WHERE p.[jcr:created] >= CAST('2015-08-19T17:38:36.221+0530' AS DATE)  I get java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Not a date string: 2015-08-19T17:38:36.221+0530but if I write SELECT p.* FROM [dam:Asset] AS p WHERE p.[jcr:created] >= CAST('2015-08-19T17:38:36.221Z' AS DATE) I get no compilation error and query runs but with a lag of 5:30 hrs i mean i don't get correct results.Ca

Hi,We are currently building our functional Web components for a Response (RWD) site.A requirement is also present to build PhoneGap components to build a hybrid app.1. Any idea on how much re-usability of the functional Web component can be done to build PhoneGap component?2. Will it help a lot (in saving time), if the Web component are more ajax/json driven then traditional page submit?Note: The content displayed is user role driven.

We've found that the less version used by AEM is too old.Is there a way to override this version or updating a updated component without breaking the whole component system? Thank you!

Hey,I have created a few dummy users in my project under home/users/<company-name>. I want these users to appear in the ContextHub on my page, so that when i change the users I see different personalized experiences on the page.I see the users, when I add a picture to their profile, but I am not being able to select them. I can select them in the Client Context, but not in ContextHub. I've been stuck with this issue since a long time. Would really appreciate it if anyone can help me out with this. Thank you

Hi,I am trying to create a suggestion Index using the below API call.SearchIndexSuggestionExtractor.buildIndex()Due to changes to QueryManagerImpl.class in Jackrabbit Oak starting AEM 6 the above API doesn't work, also this may be due to the change in workspace indexing mechanism. I have attached the stack trace of the error log. Also the built in OOTB component(/libs/cq/search/content/suggest/admin) doesn't work and throws the same exception trace. Please let me know if there is an alternate API or is there any hot fix available for this. Thanks,Arun

I have some dialogs that include event listeners, like<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <jcr:root xmlns:cq="http://www.day.com/jcr/cq/1.0" xmlns:jcr="http://www.jcp.org/jcr/1.0" xmlns:nt="http://www.jcp.org/jcr/nt/1.0" jcr:primaryType="cq:Dialog" width="800" xtype="dialog"> <items jcr:primaryType="cq:TabPanel"> <items jcr:primaryType="cq:WidgetCollection"> ... </items> </items> <listeners jcr:primaryType="nt:unstructured" beforeshow="function(thisDialog){console.log(thisDialog);}" beforesubmit="function(thisDialog){console.log(thisDialog);}"/> </jcr:root>These events do not seem to be firing if I author in TouchUI. However, if I put the listener on, say, a textfield widget instead, those events do fire. Is this expected? Is there a way to use dialog level listeners?

Hi ,  In my local AEM 6.1 instance  , I'm trying to run dialog conversion tool on OOTB geometrix components . It gives me following error . Even though i have just selected one component dialog  from the list (titile) , it displays errors that 1915 dialogs have been traversed . Has any one faced it before ? Details ,AEM  6.1 , Jdk 1.8 , Windows 7 , cq-dialog-conversion-content-1.0.0.zip (from package share).

I want to crop or rotate an image of my component. I only find examples where this happens via inplace editing. But I have components with more than one image, where only one image is rendered on the page, the other one is only shown, if I click on the first image (in a lightbox). How can I crop and rotate the second image? The same thing with richtext. Is it only possible to edit and format texts via inplace editing? I did not find a Granite UI component to use instead of classic UI richtext in a dialog. Thanks,Anne

I am getting the following exception when uploading a package to 6.1 AEM instance: com.day.jcr.vault.packaging.PackageException: org.apache.jackrabbit.vault.packaging.PackageException: javax.jcr.nodetype.ConstraintViolationException: OakConstraint0001: /apps/test-config/config[[nt:folder]]: No matching definition found for child node test with effective type [nt:unstructured]    at com.day.jcr.vault.packaging.impl.JrVltJcrPackageAdapter.install(JrVltJcrPackageAdapter.java:109)    at com.day.crx.packaging.impl.J2EEPackageManager.consoleInstall(J2EEPackageManager.java:329)    at com.day.crx.packaging.impl.J2EEPackageManager.doPost(J2EEPackageManager.java:171)    at com.day.crx.packaging.impl.PackageManagerServlet.doPost(PackageManagerServlet.java:144)...I understand that the childnode type [nt:unstructured] is not allowed under [nt:folder] node. What is the normal approach to carry out such content migration?

Hi all,We are pretty new to AEM and have an issue that we need help on if possible. We're currently managing a site developed by another vendor and have created our first new page in our author instance, and have now replicated it across to the publish instance using the replication service. This all worked fine and the logs say this has been successful, however when I browse to the URL we are getting a 404 error.I am wondering if anyone can offer guidance on where to look for potential issues. I have thought the following:- How can I verify the content is there on the publish site? As this is all locked down as normal.- Could this be an issue with the dispatcher? Maybe someone has configured only some specific URLs to be available using the /filter? (I say this as our site is a SPA and so only the main URL is accessed once with other calls being AJAX requests for content)- We don't have access to the live server environment, however I believe that the client (who hosts multiple sites

While attempting to post comments to an individual blog post, I've noticed that a there is a request to load the following file: /etc/clientcontext/default/content/jcr:content/stores.init.js?path=[path of current page]. However, this file results in a 500 error. What is this file and why is it being loaded on the page? Also, how can I troubleshoot 500 errors for content under /etc/clientcontext?

hi,i need to have 2 elements on the same line and i have set the layout parameter of the container panel to "column".The inner elements stay on the same line now but the labels are disappear.Set the labelWidth parameter don't resolve my problem. Thanks

I'm looking for some definitive guidelines on the max number of files that are allowed in the DAM.What I've read so far seems to indicate that there may not be a maximum number overall, but there is a limit per folder. Is that the case? This question is specific to AEM 5.6.1I read somewhere that the max is 300 to 400 files per folder.  That seems pretty low to me.Anyone have insight on this?

I am trying to configure AEM with Adobe DTM for tag management. I gave the API token and could successfully connect to DTM and fetch the company name and web properties. We are hosting the DTM libraries in AEM itself. Hence I selected "self-hosting" option. I have given the DTM bundle URL as well as the shared secret key to decrypt the downloaded library file. After entering all the values for configuration , when I press OK , an error pops up on the screen saying "Could not save configuration on the DTM server" . This is known issue while connecting a brand new DTM account with AEM 6.0. Hence I cross-checked to see whether the library download option has been enabled in DTM or not. It is enabled. Also when I clicked on OK , along with the pop-up , the following error comes in the browser console :POST  - <HOSTNAME>/etc/cloudservices/dynamictagmanagement/dhl-dtm/jcr:content.update_embed.json - 500 Server ErrorWhen I hit the above url to see whether the json is fetched or not , I

I have a page in author /content/temp/page.htmlIn publish the path is /content/page.htmlIs it possible to activate /content/temp/page.html from author to /content/page.html in publish ?

I am looking for a way to preview unpublished pages on an author and view them in wcmmode = disabled so someone without AEM access can view a page in progress before it's published. One of the approaches I have heard of is to put a dispatcher in front of the author instance and set headers to pass wcmmode=disabled and set a remote_user to some ID that has read only access to content.Has anyone done that? I have tried all sorts of things to pass these parameters as request headers/parameter from dispatcher to author instance but nothing works. Can someone point me in the right direction and either validate or shoot down this approach?thanks

Is it possible to integrate third-party image editors like Ajax Image Editor,JCrop etc with AEM 5.6.1

Hi,I have selection as first field in my component dialog. When I open dialog selection getting highlighted(drop down in getting auto focused-Values are shown as if we wanted to change value.).How to disable it?

I'm looking at putting some event handling on a dialog and going through the instructions here: https://helpx.adobe.com/experience-manager/using/creating-touchui-events.html1) The instructions result in an event that fires on ALL dialogs. Is there an example for setting up an event on a specific dialog?2) Those instructions reference a "dialog-ready" event. Is there a list of defined events?
