AEm 6.1 dialog conversion tool

Hi , 

 In my local AEM 6.1 instance  , I'm trying to run dialog conversion tool on OOTB geometrix components . It gives me following error . Even though i have just selected one component dialog  from the list (titile) , it displays errors that 1915 dialogs have been traversed . Has any one faced it before ?

 

Details ,

AEM  6.1 , Jdk 1.8 , Windows 7 , cq-dialog-conversion-content-1.0.0.zip (from package share).

what is error that you are seeing ?? Also JDK 1.8 might have some issue and best supported with JDK 1.7

Thanks for your replies . 

 

It seems the cq dialog osgi bundle which gets installed with the paqckage was in 'installed' state rather than 'active' .

reinstallation of bundle  of times did the trick .Not sure why in the first installation osgi bundle was not in active state .

Correct - the AEM docs state that 1.7 is preferred.

what is error that you are seeing ?? Also JDK 1.8 might have some issue and best supported with JDK 1.7
