We have run into the issue of importing a list of List Purchase Leads into a static list and some of those List Purchase Leads exist in our database and then the List Purchase Lead data overwrites/updates those existing Leads in our database.  How can we make the import not update fields that already have an owner?  We do not want to update/change those fields since we trust more what the Rep has for the Lead record rather than what the List Purchase says.  We don't want to corrupt that existing Lead Data.  Essentially we only want to import the List Purchase Leads if we know for a fact that they are not already in Marketo.

I'm having an issue with hyphenated text appearing when opening our emails on a mobile device. I'm using a Marketo responsive template, so I don't see why this is happening.Here is a look at what's going on:It's very distracting and makes the email hard to read. Any thoughts about fixing this? My HTML/CSS knowledge is all self-taught, so I'm not an expert, but I'm fairly comfortable playing around with it, if that helps.

I'm curious if there is a Marketo integrated plug-in that can use my specific history/data in Marketo to determine the most optimal times and days to send emails.

Every time I try and type calendar in the search box, i get a red bar across the bottom of my screen that says 'The content you requested is not available due to an error..."  I have tried it in different instances of Marketo, with different accounts, and the same thing happens.  Is anyone else having this problem?Thanks Jason

We have a field called Job Function that we have on both the Lead and Contact records in Salesforce and the Lead field mappings pass data from the lead to the contact on lead conversion. This field was created after our initial Marketo implementation. The same thing is happening on our field called Job Level. Both are picklist fields.In Marketo, after refreshing the schema, I am seeing 2 fields: Job Function and Job Function (L). The first is the Contact field and the second is the Lead field. Now this makes forms and such very difficult because which field do we put on? How can I make it so these fields map to 1 Marketo field.NOTE: We have other custom fields of this nature that are set as a single Marketo field and sync to both the Lead & Contact in Salesforce.  

I have our communication limits set as 1 email per day, but no more than 2 emails within 7 days.If i have 3 emails to send to customers in a 7 day period & either the first one or the second email is an operational product release email.  My question is will the third email still be sent? or does the global communication limits that i set also count operational email and the third email will not be sent?

A problem that's been poised from my Sales team is "can we pause a lead in a single drip, then unpause them (as if it were an engagement stream)?" (There are reasons I won't get into as to why we don't want to build an engagement program for these singular drips, like Demo Follow Up).I know the answer is no. There is no way (I know of) to insert them back into the drip without:     - picking up exactly where they were removed     - going through the flow without receiving the same content twice     - going through the flow again, waiting until they have reached the point where they left off.Unless... I've been thinking about an alternative, and wanted to ask if anyone in the Community has tried folding the flow/content in half? In essence it would be like splitting into two different ops at the half way (or quarter) of the drip, but in the same flow. Let's assume we have 16 emails in the drip, I am imagining the flows to look like this:Step 1:If not sent email: Email 1, then send email

We have recently moved away from Salesforce in favor of a proprietary CRM solution. Does anyone else have any recommendations after doing this or know of any best practices? It's a bit annoying that there are so many SFDC fields still in our instances. Is there a way to turn these off? Turning off the sync to SFDC hasn't done so.Thank you!

Hi,I'm looking at the guide to install the GoToWebinar adapter but it's not making sense and I need help. I'm in admin- launchpoint- new servicethe only service option that's populating is "custom" & the "API only user" does not get populated at all so I can't create the service. Going back to the installation guide, the steps look completely different from what I'm seeing making me wonder if I'm even in the right section. 

We have a number of nurture streams and will be asking leads if they desire information on other topics as part of these streams.If they answer in a way that leads us to believe they have a different interest than the stream they are in, we will move them to another stream and pull them from the stream they were in.But we want to report on everyone that was ever part of a stream.Is there a way to run a smartlist to see anyone that was ever part of a specific stream (or any one of a number - "or").Thanks,RM

URGENT HELP REQUIRED Hi everyone.Does anyone know how get Market to "forget" an old GoTo Webinar account and resync with a new account?We have a webinar template set up and i'm simply trying to adjust the settings to ensure we sync the event in GoTo Webinar to Marketo.When I select the Event partner, I choose GoTo Webinar and am able to do so successfully.But then the next step is the dropdown option "Login" which is synced to an old trial account of GoTo Webinar we had.We are using a new GoTo Webinar account that's not a trial, and I really need to sync the event (webinar) from GTW into Marketo.Would appreciate any insights anyone has.Please see screenshot.Thanks.

Hi there,this week I successfully setup the general connection between Marketo and GoToWebinar. Then I created a test webinar within GoToWebinar and Marketo and also successfully connected them to each other.During a first test, someone registered via the Marketo form for this webinar. Then the respective smart campaign sets the Program Status to Registered.As far as I understood, now the person should also appear within the registrants list in GoToWebinar. But he does not.Does anyone have an idea what I may have missed setting up?Best regards,Katrin 

I've got a request from some higher-ups to send them a weekly report on how many people fill out one operational form I have; this form is purely operational and is a local asset in a program with the "Operational" channel (all this program does is it sends confirmation emails to people who submitted the form and add them into a list).Now management wants to get a report with just the number of form fill outs per day (new names, old names, doesn't matter). To them it sounds like a very simple request, but I found it is actually not that easy to achieve through Mareketo analytics. RCE seems to be the best solution, since I can run program membership report (I assign everyone who filled out the form Operational->Member status), but for some reason I do not see this one program in the RCE.And yes, the program does have period cost and analyic behavior = Inclusive (regardless of period cost). We are currently running an A/B test as part of an Email Program and wanted to double-check that our Smart Campaigns to change the Program Statuses are working correctly.I did what I normally do in this case and created a Smart Campaign within the Email Program that would send the email to just my email address; however, my email address appears as blocked and I'm unable to send it to anyone other than me, as well.Is this because the winner hasn't been chosen? Or it is because it's an A/B Test program?

I need to delete several thousand leads. I've identified them outside Marketo and have a list ready to go. What do I do next in order to match my outside list with the Marketo leads in order to delete the Marketo leads?

Hi Community,I'm new to using the SFDC Campaign Sync have a quick question about removing members.  If I wanted to remove a member of a SFDC campaign that was synced to a Marketo program, would using the flow step: Change Program Status - Status = Not in Program both remove them from being a member of that Marketo program and remove them from being a member of the SFDC campaign associated with that program?  I tested this out on a handful of leads and their program status was changed, but they have yet to be removed from the SFDC campaign...just curious if it's a delay in syncing Marketo/SFDC or if I am missing a step to do this.Thanks in advance!-Val

Ever since Marketo changed and added the calendar option, I now don't know how to change the name of programs. Anyone figure it out?

Dear all,We try to hide only the caption of a field if the field content is empty. a) The following code will hide the entire raw (entire field including caption). What should we change to the code to only hide the caption?-------------------------------------------------------if(this.rawValue == null){  this.presence ="hidden"}-------------------------------------------------------b) Another option would be to use conditional formatting -> change caption text to white colored text,  if the field content is empty to make it invisible on the printout.Is there any options in ALD available or which code should be used to realize one of the above options?Thank you in advance!Kind regards,Roy
