Hi AllI confuse about Marketo automatically archive behaviour.According to the doc Understand How Marketo Archives Inactive Anonymous Leads ,after 90 days Marketo will automatically archive.But I can see old activities past 90 days over. Why?Last week, activities between Dec. 20 to Jan. 16 were archived.I can still see older logs. eg. Dec 17I can't understand this archive policy.Using REST API is same result.Takehiro

What kind of solutions have you used for authenticating Webhook requests coming to your backend from Marketo? The documentation (http://developers.marketo.com/documentation/webhooks/) totally ignores the subject. This is a bit strange as the documentation describes how to get sensitive user data from an apparently exposed public API. Also, in the forums there are some requests related to using OAuth2 in Webhooks but apparently this feature has not been implemented.The only idea I can come up with is including a hard coded passphrase in the Webhook's GET or POST request parameters. I guess this is an acceptable solution if the passphrase is long enough and requests are sent over https.Any comments or ideas?Mikko

I used one of the Marketo mobile responsive email templates for a recent trigger campaign (anniversary email). I notice that when I view the emails on mobile the copy in the headline will often extend to a second line, with the word at the end of the top line broken up with a hyphen (see "Reliable" copy in bottom half of screen shot below). Would appreciate advice ensuring that the copy doesn't wrap like this. Thanks!!Geoff

What's the best way to programatically write the name of an email to a "Last Email Sent" field using tokens or something else?I'm trying to track the success point (last email) of a multi-touch email sequence where success is determined by an SFDC data value change. I have created a custom field for "Campaign Last Email Sent" with the intent to log the name of the last campaign email so I can create a list/report of people with Program Success and see what email was last sent. 

We have 2 salesforce orgs and marketo  is integrated with one of our salesforce org. Now we are planning to consolidate our salesforce orgs into one and considering moving the  salesforce org (to which marketo org is connected) to the other salesforce org.  1) Could you please let me know the challenges I may face, will this break the integration between salesforce and marketo. If yes if we migrate other salesforce org to salesforce org (which is in link to marketo)  what all are the challenges we may face relating to marketo.  Please let us know

We have a campaign that sends out a free trial email and within the email is a link to download our software.  That link has a .exe file extension.  Anytime we use tracking links (Not just Marketo, but other email programs), anyone using Internet Explorer has the .exe stripped off of the download.  It works fine in Chrome or Firefox.  For now, we've had to disable tracking on that link, but it's an important piece of information that we would like to be tracking.  Does anyone know how we could utilize the tracking links with our exe file and not have the extension stripped off?

We are in the process of embedding forms on our new company website, but want to confirm that by doing so, we will "...lack tracking via Marketo landing page reports; ie. Form fill-out numbers, or landing page conversion rates (can be tracked using other tools outside of Marketo)".Anyone know?

Hello,We have a DM campaign going out next week - for it, we created PURLs linking to a landing page with a form. A week ago, upon form submisssion, the page would correctly link to a 'Thank You' page that included (via tokens) the lead's first name and a unique promotional link (for an egift card). The unique promo links are set up as tokens and have been assigned to all campaign members. Yesterday, after we decided to remove the 'Email Address' field (we have email addresses for almost all of the members of our campaign and worry that including 'Email' as a field might deter survey submission) from the form the connection/sync between the first landing page's form (which we thought was tied directly to the PURLs previously created) and the 'Thank You' landing page no longer works. Both the 'First Name' and the 'Unique Promo Code' tokens on the 'Thank You' page now just go with the "default"/non-personalized values - which for this campaign definitely won't work. What's more

Hello, I'm new to Markto and lead scoring and will primarly be using Marketo for email marketing.  Are lead scoring campaigns global affecting ALL email campaigns, or does each individual email campaign need to have it's own unique lead scoring campaign associated with it?

HiIm working on a project that requires us to sent two data values to a 3rd part software company.Case: We have a 'my page' for each user, if they uncheck a specific boolean, this value needs to be sent via SOAP or REST to a 3rd party so they can use the data.Is this possible? 

I am working in a client Marketo instance where there was a lot of turnover in the past and things weren't set up optimally. The default program statuses for the Email Send Program have been changed but don't seem to have been made use of. I'm trying to remember what the default settings are. I checked another instance and the settings were Member and Engaged - but neither was flagged as "Success." Is that the default? Or does Engaged = Success by default? If so, am I correct in interpresting "Engaged" to mean Opened or Clicked? With our "regular" Email Blast programs, Opened doesn't count as Success. Thanks in advance for any insight! 

I'm fairly new to Marketo and Sales Insights (Salesforce).  When I send an email that includes one or more hyperlinks to a non-Marketo hosted webpage, the Interesting Moments in Sales Insight doesn't showing the salesperson which URL the recipient clicked on.  This makes it difficult for the salesperson to know how to follow-up with the recipient.  Does Marketo only provide that information if the link is to something that Marketo hosts?  If not, any other suggestions? Also, is there a way to change the Sales Insights tab layout in Salesforce?  For example, we don't want our salespeople to be distracted by the Anonymous Web Activity data so we would like hide that tab from Sales Insight.    

I have admin rights and we are in start-up mode with Marketo.  I entered other users into Marketo and one of the three did not receive the marketo generated login email that allows the user to enter and set-up their password.  I tried deleting the user and rentering the person and this did not work.  THe user did check junk folder to see if the email was in that. 

Suppose a program features 2 streams- one called Active and the other Inactive, each with 5 emails.Suppose a lead was transitioned from Inactive to Active after getting 3 emails within Inactive stream.After a week he becomes inactive and we pull him back to Inactive stream in order to activate himWill he get email 4 or start all over again from email #1?tx in advance

Hi there, On our website we have a pop up ad that we are able to track leads as they click through to the webpage. However, we are also trying to capture those that are clicking to close that window and not clicking through to the webpage. Is there a way to capture that data somehow? We do have a munchkin code set up on our site.  Any help or suggestions much appreciated! - Erica 

I am looking for some clarity on what Stream Cadence exactly means when someone is added to a stream.  If the Stream Cadence is "Every 3 weeks on Thu | 8:00AM EDT"  does this mean the first email in the stream will go out 3 weeks on a Thursday after this person was added to the stream or does this mean regardless of when the person was added to the stream the first email goes out on the Streams schedule?Also does anyone know how to change the wait periods from within a stream to one maybe 3 weeks, the next email in the stream 2 weeks, and so on?  Anyone know of any documentation for adding programs within streams?  I do not understand how that works.Thanks!

I'm trying to understand the engagement program. I can't get my head around "cast". I think I'm looking for something physical to see. Is a cast just the email added to the stream. Can someone give me an analogy or something that will help me understand cast?A Cast is the event of sending emails from an Engagement Program.

So I can get every part of the GTW integration to work except including that link in the reminder emails. Not sure where I went wrong with it. I have calendar invites that work and the registration confirmation email works. Just not the reminder emails. Any thoughts on what would be preventing that token from populating?
