I'm wondering if anyone knows if moving the Omniture code to within Google Tag Manager will allow for all of the current functionality/reporting, etc that Omniture currently gives me.  Thanks for any feedback about this!

Does anyone know of a way to find the exact page from Facebook that sent visitors to my site (given that SAINT classification wasn't used).  In viewing the referrers report, I'm only able to see the top level domain, facebook.com or a link such as this: http://www.facebook.com/l.php?u. Is it available in the Data Feed and if so which column would that be?

Hi,I am newbie to site catalyst world. I am implementing Site Catalyst but the documentation on Site Catalyst isn't quite fulfilling my requirements. We broadly have 3 type of pages and each perform its own function. I have to pass the data of these pages to SiteCatalyst Cloud. In the jcr:node for each page there are references to content items and these references are resolved and then page is rendered.We are also exposing this page data to other vendors in json feed. I was thinking of creating a service layer which will do all the data manipulation and finally create one object for every page type. Once this object is created, i need to pass this object to Omniture for tracking.My question is how can i pass a object to omniture for tracking. I am not able to visualize how should i use this object with the site catalyst framework like it is mentioned here.Also, client has provided a sheet of all the properties with variables like prop1..100 , evar 1..100 . Where will i see those varia

If my Omniture data is being sampled at 10% and I want to get the total volume of data, can I just multiple it by 10?I realize the accuracy would increase as the volume increases. The volume I'm getting is in tens of thousands and I'm wondering whether I should be multiplying it with 10 to get the actual data or some other number? The number seems lower than what I expected so I'm wondering if I should be multiplying it with a number greater than 10.

A fairly standard request I hope, but one I can't seem to get to work. I need to know which page customers click on exit links. We are using the auto exit link tracking, which, as I understand, cannot be correlated with pagenames due to the way they are handled by the processing servers, where they are "removed" in order to not inflate page views. Since we have a lot of exit links, I do not want to have to manually tag all exit links and set a property, nor modify the s_code..What are my other options? I have tried using processing rules, so that where the pagename is not set, then I "overwrite" a prop with Page Domain + Page Path, which is meant to come from the "current URL" of the hit that is sent. However, it appears that this rule is setting the prop to "/", i.e. the separator for the concatenated value, so it looks like the Page Domain and Page Path cannot be used like this. Hi,Having added DTM to a clients website the team has tried to add s_code via the Adobe tool in DTM. But there is nothing firing and of course nothing showing in Adobe Analytics. We've followed the Adobe documentation on this implementations.We've built some custom JS (just a simple alert) and added via DTM to prove the tag management system is working in the dev environment. So we're happy in the fact that DTM is working, however we're a little anxious about adding the s_code via a different means i.e. Using 'Rule > Page Load Rules > Create New Rule'.We raised a ticket 6 days ago and wished to arrange a call today, but we're not getting any response from Adobe CC.Any help would be much appreciated.Incident: 141121-000354Andrew Daniel

Maybe I'm missing something here, but I can't set actionable hourly alerts for basic metrics such as Page Views or Orders on an hourly basis. My goal is to send an email if PageViews or Orders fall below a lower hourly threshold.The main problem is I can't specify the alert to trigger based on specific hours. My 2-5am hours will definitely have lower PVs and Orders than 2-5pm... but I can only set the alert to check for the same lower limit per every hour, and this wont do! I need to have different alerts per hour, so lets say I can set an eVar that captures the hour so I'd be able to set an alert for a specific hour... Now the problem becomes that I can't set an Alert to check at the end of an hour in eVars :s Weirdly enough, I can only set hourly alerts on a raw success event report, or a trended pageviews report of a prop value... I'm good with a lower limit Alert for PageViews if I implement a prop, but not my all important Orders, I need an evar with the hours as values. Whats the

I have some listening code that is being served as a custom script for the data element that could make multiple updates per page view which is capturing the value of a HTML5 Custom Attribute. The issue is I can't get listening code to return the value for data element to be set. Not sure what I'm doing wrong and have tried numerous approaches. When ever I check the value of the data element I get the default value that was set in the UI. I am attemtping to programmatically get report suite data using PHP. In order to do so, I need to authenticate using OAuth. According to this documentation page: https://marketing.adobe.com/developer/en_US/documentation/authentication/auth-client-credentials, step 4 says I need to request a token for authentication. I am just trying to use command line curl to test this. I am usingcurl -i -v "https://api.omniture.com/token" -u '(username):(password)' -d "grant_type=client_credentials"The response is always: "{"error":"invalid_client","error_description":"The client credentials are invalid"}"I believe I am using the incorrect username and password, but unfortunately, I have no idea what these values should be. I tried the username and password of this Adobe ID account, the username and password of my Analytics login (which are totally different but linked), the username and password found in the Analytics Admin -> Company Settings -> Web Services page. Did any of you notice a sudden increase in pageviews around October 21/22 2014? We saw almost double the pageviews and our bounce rate decreased from around 20% to around 4%. It almost seems like we have tag double loaded, but we are not.Any idea why this may happen?Thanks a lot,Jeanine

Hello,I'm finding that implementing our code in the Adobe Analytics console takes a very long time, because we have many pages and variables for each page. I tried to copy our current page code in the editor, but it won't let me because of unexpected tokens.Here's an example of the type of page tag we are trying to place in DTM:Please let me know if there is an easier way to implement the tags in DTM. Newbie question here... I'm trying to put together a report comprised of page views over a period of times, for a set of pages that were posted within a period of time.So e.g. I need to pull average page views per day for articles posted on our site between July and September of this year. Problem is, I can't seem to find a way to contain my search to publish date. Is there a way to filter in that way? We're not, to my knowledge, sending post date data from our CMS to Analytics, but it should be possible to estimate based on the first day a page started accumulating hits.Can anyone help? Apologies if this is too rudimentary for this forum but I can't seem to find a way in here.Thanks,Jeff

I would like to create a report in my login company with all the report suites in a column, with url, name, and page views and unique vistiors.  is this possible?

Hi - this extract is taken from the online documentation: “Ad Hoc Analysis has the unique ability to report different allocations for conversion variables: the default allocation, last allocation, and linear allocation. If Ad Hoc Analysis is your organization's primary reporting tool, having all conversion variables set to first allocation gives you all available allocation values.”However when I view First touch evar with linear, participation, recent and the default allocation - all values are the same (see attached) which is contrary to the documentation unless I'm misinterpreting it somehow. Client care seemed to think this is correct behavior, whereas I'm more inclined to think the documentation is incorrect. Any ideas?

When I run a Products report with metrics output being Unique Visitors, Carts, and Orders, for some products I see that there are more Orders than Carts.For example, Product X will show 43 Carts and 70 Orders.  It is not possible to order products on my site without initiating a Cart session, so why would I be seeing this?

Since upgrading to ARB 5, it seems to round everything to 1dp. Whereas in the past using v4.7 it would be at least a few more places.Is it possible to customise ARB to round to more places after the decimal?Thanks.

I'm pretty new to Reportbuilder & Omniture in general, but I've encountered an error that no-one I've been talked to can make sense of. Various google/forum searches have not helped either.I have a workbook in Reportbuilder which has previously run without a problem, but today every time I've tried to refresh I get this error message (see also attached):'The specified time stamp (Date & Time of refresh request)  has expired or is in the future'. It's run perfectly fine before, and I don't believe I've changed anything. A couple of time it has populated a few of the reports (4-5 out of 50), but most are not.Thanks in advance.

Hi,I'm working on a website with existing Omniture tags in all the pages (100s), which have been assigned to different report suites. I'm afraid we cannot track campaigns or perform path analysis across the website because of that. We also don't have access to the current s.code files as well as the pages html code at this moment; but the good news is (I believe) Adobe DTM has been already implemented into the entire site. Now, I'm wondering what is the best way to use DTM to use the old tags, but send their data to a new global report suite.Thank you.
