 Hi, all.For the requirement I am currently working on we do need to have vanity URLs that include extensions, so we can maintain the same address from the current site when migration to AEM is complete (ex.: the vanity URL should be /foo/bar/foobar.aspx). But we could verify while testing that vanity URLs with extensions are not handled the way we expected, as the extension is meaningful to AEM to resolve how to render a given content.Do you have any recommendations to this case? I'd like not to use a solution on the Apache leve (eg.: use mod-rewrite for removing the extension from the URL)? The exception I get when I set the vanity URL "foo/bar/foobar.aspx" to a page is displayed below:Cannot serve request to /foo/bar/foobar.aspx in org.apache.sling.servlets.get.DefaultGetServletRequest Progress:      0 (2014-01-14 13:48:43) TIMER_START{Request Processing}      0 (2014-01-14 13:48:43) COMMENT timer_end format is {<elapsed msec>,<timer name>} <optional message>

Tried to find in the internet about the integration process but hardly found some good documents. Using xpath query we can fetch the metadata from the repository and display the value of metadata on page.But, if we are looking for pagination on top that. How can we achieve this? Can we implement display tag for the same? Thanks

Hello,I am using the out of the box comment component on CQ5.5 (upgraded from CQ5.4).  We recently had an issue in which the POST'd comment could be vulnerable to a CSRF (cross-site request forgery) attack.  So in order to prevent it, I need to include a CSRF token as part of the form submission, upon which a server-side check is done to confirm the validity of the token before the comment is allowed to be posted.Since the comment POST is handled by an OOTB servlet, is there a way to intercept the Comment POST to validate the token before it is saved?

Hi..        I have been learning CQ5.  Recently i tried  to configure CQ’s Servlet Engine (CQSE) to listen on HTTP over SSL.On the ‘Configuration’ tab of osgi console, I found ‘Day CQSE HTTP Service’  and made below changes.1. Checked the enable HTTP button.2. Changed the port to 4533.and just saved it. Now I am unable to access both 4502 and 4533. I understand something has gone wrong.But please advise me how to reset the settings. so i can access my author server on 4502.

Currently I am using a component which is having design_dialog and it is associated with TLD or java classes. In the java classes various properties are read using using object of "Style" like Style currentStyle and reading properties like this: currentStyle.get("NAMEOFPROPERTY","DEFAULTVALUE"); Now i want to convert this design_dialog to dialog type. Simply changing from design_dialog to dialog doesn't worked, so what changes should I require to do?

We enable to access Jcr_content. But once we enable this on dispatcher.any , we can see same URL location on cache folder. Still we are getting forbidden error 403.The dispatcher Cache folder contains JCR:content  as "_jcr_content ". Is it possible to cache JCR:CONTENT .

Folks,     We are having issues with JSESSIONID. On the non-CQ5 site, we have JSESSIONID cookie set at the root level. Once the user comes to the CQ5 based site/pages, CQ5 overwrites this cookie with new value. Now when the user comes back to the non-CQ5 site, we see errors about the JSESSIONID as it was changed by CQ5. Can we configure CQ5 for not creating/overwriting the JSESSIONID cookie or if it does then create at a different path so that not to mess up with the non-cq5 site cookie.Few things to we attempted to try -1. We would rename the JSESSIONID cookie for CQ5 site, but we could not using either java script or using backend java code. Even if we try to do so, it creates a new cookie at the root level.2. We can not modify the JSESSIONID on the functional site.Can someone please suggest what should we be doing in this case?

I want to authenticate the CQ user through cookie, means the user credentials are stored in user browser(cookie), which would be auto read and auto authenticated in CQ.Please suggest...

As can be seen in the attached screenshot, when I go to the asset share page, select an item and click download, I am prompted to download a zip file. I download it and when I try to unzip this zip file, receive an error popup that says "Unable to expand %FILENAME% to %LOCATION%".Any ideas as to why this download functionality would be broken? I've tried on both Windows and Mac just to try to rule out some possibilities. Also, I tried on a separate CQ5.6 DAM and found that to work properly by downloading and then unzipping.Thanks, Tom

We are upgrading from CQ 5.5 to 5.6.1 and would like to know if we need to rename the cq-quickstart-5.6.1.jar file to cq-quickstart-5.6.1-author-p4502.When we are upgrading to CQ 5.4 from 5.3, renaming was required and we had to rename the file for author instance as cq-quickstart-5.5.0-author-p4502, with 'p' flag infront of the port number 4502. Not sure if we need to follow the same naming convension this time. Please let me, If any of you have executed the upgrade and had to rename the file.ThanksSailesh.

Hi, I'm using facebook connect through Cloud config in Adobe cq5 to login and post comment in one website. But when i login using facebook id , the pop up does not close. but if i close the pop up and refresh the parent page i can see my self logged in.Please help how to close the pop up automatically and refresh the parent page. Thanks,Avisek
