Need help setting up AA MCP in Copilot

Hi has anyone been sucessful in setting up AA MCP in Copilot? I tried following the OAuth setup but do not see any similarities.

Connect using OAuth

  • I’ve got Copilot Studio access
  • I’ve added myself to the MCP product profile that has the right permissions setup
  • I’ve created an Adone IO project

Any guidance would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Lee

Need a little more info on what are you running into. Like a permissions error or you can’t setup the MCP server in copilot at all?

Here’s what I see, but the documentation does not mention any of the items in the red boxes.

UPDATE - Our TAM told us “it needs to use the oAuth Tool from Copilot to register the app (https://dev.teams.microsoft.com/tools/oauth-configuration), get a registration ID ” and is looking for more details.

I’d be curious too because I would try this soon in my organization as well. I am blocked out on almost every other LLM so copilot is my only option. Will post here if I am successful.

Best,

Isha

Just an update to anyone who is looking at AA MCP x Copilot : The team are aware of the authentication gap with Copilot and are working on it. I just noticed the documentation page now has a dedicated ‘Copilot’ section with a ‘coming soon’

Thanks! This is helpful. I also tried lot of different ways but none of that seem to be working so we would need to await solution from Adobe team.

While still in Beta, i’m told, and labled as ‘coming soon’ in the official documentation, I can confirm if you select MCP as a tool in Copilot, select OAuth 2.0 and Dynamic Discovery, it now authenticates and connects to AA.

Yes I have. As Isha has mentioned, please share the error you are facing. Do note, you need to have the relevant previlages in Copilot Studio in order to continue. Also, ensure you provision yourself in the Admin console. Even if you are an admin, you need to add MCP access to a product profile.
