Workfront task actual duration

Hi team , 

We need some clarification on how the actual duration and duration is calculated in task level . we have some task that has actual duration as 11.26 how these decimal value is calculated ?.

Can you advice how it is calculated with an example .

Hi, ​@AbisheikMe. I recommend watching the video on Master duration types and task constraints.

 

In general, planned durations are often entered manually, although some task constraints will calculate the planned duration for you (for example, Fixed Dates). If you’re looking at a parent task, however, the planned duration is a calculation based on the planned durations of the child tasks within the parent.

 

Actual durations are determined based on when users start and complete tasks.
