Is it possible to pull in various fields from a previous request into a new request?

I’m looking for a non fusion solution. We are building a process where new requests will be submitted but we need to pull in certain fields from a previously related request. An example: A request was submitted to create a material and it gets mailed. Now we need to submit a new request but reference data from the old request so the partner teams have easy access to all of the data in that request. I did discover that I can create an internal lookup field so the requestor can key in the previous request and it provides a link to the request. I need to take this a step further and provide other key details so they don’t have to open the request and find the important information they need. Any suggestions?

Here’s my thinking: Create aproject template would include your usual project tasks AND a queue build so you can submit requests to the partner from within the mailed material project. Your workflow would then beConvert the request for mailed material to a project based on theproject-queue hybrid template.Within the new project, create a new request for the partner information. You can create it standalone or within a task.I suspect the request would need to remain within the mailed material project in order for the partners to see the project information unless you set the default sharing of the project at the template level to include the partners.
