Hi Everyone! Here is the information about how to link directly to a custom form that I was discussing at the user group last week. First create a calculated field on a custom form that you would like to reference. Paste this code into the calculation field: CONCAT("https://{your domain}.my.workfront.com","/","issue/view?ID=",ID,"&activeTab=form-customdata") The custom form I am referencing is stored at the Issue object level, you will need to change issue to project or task if you are trying to reference one of those objects. Then on any report add this text mode field. case.0.comparison.icon=false case.0.comparison.leftmethod=DE:Element custom form link case.0.comparison.lefttext=DE:Element custom form link case.0.comparison.operator=cicontains case.0.comparison.operatortype=string case.0.comparison.righttext=https: case.0.comparison.truetext=View element specs displayname=Element Specs link.isnewwindow=true link.url=customDataLabelsAsString(Element custom form link) linkedname=direc

Has anyone been playing around with the new Priorities area in preview? I can't seem to be able to log in as another user to see what their Priorities area looks like for them.

Hello, I recently added two new users and assigned them to the same layout template as a multiple of other users. The new users don't have the column filter in the project and task widgets like the others do. I can't figure out why.  Does anyone have any insight as to how to have the column added back in? I attached a screenshot of what the new user has, and a screen shot of what the column should be.  Thank you.

I have a user is set up as a planner in the system and they are currently having an issue where they aren't able to mark any of their tasks as completed, despite the attached custom for allowing users with Manage or Contribute status having that right (see below).  I am also unable to change the share status of this user to allow them the ability to Manage or Contribute when I turn off the inherited permissions and manually assign them to the share list. Currently the inherited permission for this user is set to View only.  And this is what I see whenever I add them in manually, with Inherited Permissions turned off:  I assumed that as the sys admin, I should be able to make the necessary change to correct this, but I am kind of hitting a wall as to what I can actually do here. I don't PM any requests, so any changes I make would be independent of the project owner, but at the moment, I am the only one who chan change the task status for this user, other than t

In both my original template and in my subsequent projects, there are some tasks where the system will not let me reset the duration to Zero days. These tasks are marked "As Soon As Possible", with no planned hours and set to Simple calculation. Additionally, there is another task with the exact same predecessor, literally everything the same, that the system WILL allow me to set to Zero day duration. I'm not sure why it keeps resetting it to 1 after I've set it to Zero. I appreciate your help, as this is becoming a pain point!

Our team is trying to encourage better collaboration amongst copywriters/designers and would like to start having 1 task that is assigned to the both of them so they can easily see who they are working with rather than 2 separate tasks for Copy & Design.  Doing this seems to be throwing off our Planned Hours reporting for each user. Is there a way to allocate Planned Hours on 1 task that is assigned to multiple users? For example: a task that has 8 hours assigned to it; we want 3 of those hours for the Copywriter & 5 of those hours for the designer. Or is the only option to keep these as separate tasks? Also open to other suggestions for anyone that may have a similar process 🙂

Hi All,I've created a concat formula that pulls in multiple typeahead fields.  What I'm trying to figure out is how to display a comma if more than one typeahead field has been filled out, but not to display a comma if there's only one field being populated.

Is there a way to show the actual person's name in the data column for the Entered By ID in a task report?

I wonder if someone can help me with some text mode. One of my teams uses an Issue Report to track incoming work. They add notes to a column in that Report titled Sportsbook Content Notes.Later on in the process these Issues are converted into Projects and the team have a Task within that Project. They then look at a Task Report to track their work. Is there some text mode that would allow me to pull the field from the Issue Report into the Task Report even if the Custom Field is not attached to any of the Objects? Or would it need to appear in a Custom Form somewhere? Thanks in advance!

We were able to create a text mode grouping and the result looks good on the details tab but the bar chart shows a single entity with count as 'No Value'. Is this issue only for me? Am I missing anything here or Is there a way to pull that text mode grouping in the chart view with proper values?

Good morning! I am creating a dashboard for a meeting where it has been requested to have a report or calendar showing what each schedule's exceptions are. We have various countries working and we want to pull a report/calendar into a dashboard that shows that India has schedule exceptions for 10/31 & 11/1 while also including our US exceptions for Thanksgiving.  I'm very new to writing reports and was wondering if there is a relatively easy way to achieve this in either a calendar or a report. Thanks!

I'm not sure if this has been discussed before, but I know in Salesforce there is more flexibility with filters when it comes to being able to copy and paste field values from a list. There is also more flexibility to add multiple contains values without having to do multiple or statements within the report builder. Has anyone requested this before? (the copy and pasting of values would also be really handy in the custom form builder dropdown options)

Hi! I hope someone can help me.I'm a sys admin in our Workfront eviroment and one of my users is not reciving any emails from notifications@my.workfront.com, only overdue notifications. No reports, approvals, or any other kind. Also, this user can't click on the "send now" button of reports, and if the user is in a repited delivery for reports with other users, only this specific user is not receiving it.

Hi all, I have a calculation in a custom form which outputs the number of days between the start-up date of a project and today's date (essentially the "project age" as of today). Here is the formula I'm using: FLOOR(DATEDIFF(CLEARTIME($$TODAY),CLEARTIME({plannedStartDate}))) NOTE:- The "FLOOR" expression should give me a round-down number.- And the "CLEARTIME" expression should omit the hours in the date/time. The problem is, I get mixed results with my formula. Some projects will display the number of days between the planned start date and today's date, as intended. This is displayed as a positive integer:  Some projects will display nothing at all, even though the start date is clearly listed earlier in the form. Some projects will display a negative number with a decimal point: Can anyone shed some light on what might be happening? I have tried various different combinations of formulas (different expressions, changing the referenc

I am working with an assignment report, which includes a column for Strategic Rank.Strategic Rank is a manually entered number in a custom field on the project. The format of the field is "number."I added Column Rules to control which strategic rank numbers are shown, and the formatting: Column Settings > Advanced Options > Add Column RuleIf the strategic rank number is between 1-20, show the rank and turn the cell purple.Don't show the strategic rank number if it is outside of that range (1-20).I do not want to show the number if it has a decimal place (only want to show the whole numbers)Please see the attached screenshot as an example.Strategic Ranks with the green arrow are showing correctly (19, and the 'blank' rank was filtered out because it was outside of 1-20).I do not want to see the 4.7 rank that has the red arrow pointing to it. (The tasks/assignments should still show on the report, but the Strategic Rank cell should be blank.)I'm assuming I'll have to convert to tex

I'm working on an Assignment report where I'd like the row to be red if all the following conditions are met, but it looks like I can create only one column rule. Thanks in advance for your help!Conditions:Task Planned Completion date is less than today (aka late)ANDTask Status is ReadyANDAssignment is NOT Done

Hello, I would like to add a task within our projects that closes 10-15 min after the handoff date. I tried experimenting with the task constraints and tracking mode, but it doesn't seem to work properly. I believe these go off the planned completion date which doesn't take account for tasks that close early or late. For whatever reason, the projected start date doesnt match when a previous task is closed or cancelled, it can add hours or days even know the previous task was closed early. Is there a way to set a task to auto close x amount of time after the handoff date? I am doing this to allow fusion to run and add/remove tasks based on selections made in previous tasks. Sometimes users make selections and then close their task too quickly not giving the system enough time to process.

Can anyone tell me how to add the project, task, and/or URL to my custom email notifications? Here is an example of a subject line: ACTION REQUIRED: Task Assignment: {project:name}

My co-worker is experiencing a filter not staying on within the Planner after closing her browser and getting back into Workfront (the filter goes back to the default filter).  Her filters stay on within the Workload Balancer and all other areas of Workfront. We tried having her create her own filter and not using the shared filter but it did the same thing. It isn't a huge deal but annoying. Any advice/suggestions?

Hi All, I want to create a user report column that displays the last 10 or so projects the user has worked on. Has anyone attempted something like this before?

Hi all, I am trying to pull primary contact/requested by name into a task report which is filtered to just one task. Is there a way to do this? - I have tried multiple text mode combinations. displayname=Primary Contactlinkedname=issuenamekey=view.relatedcolumn namekeyargkey.0=issuenamekeyargkey.1=Primary Contactquerysort=issue:primary contacttextmode=truevaluefield=issue:primary contactvalueformat=HTML However, the column is just blank. Is there any way to do this? Appreciate any support.

I have a new team but not everyone needs to manage the new Dynamic Board in Workfront.  Is there an option to provide VIEW only access to maybe a Reader/Requestor license?  Or does anyone that wants to VIEW a Dynamic Board require Worker or higher license? Thanks

Are we were able to see proof comments in the task we have the proof created in?

"New - Pending Approval" filter / view is now missing now that I've been forced to use the new Home page. They are visible but they are lost in the catch all of all my "My Approvals" widget. How do I get this back from my Legacy Home dashboard?

Hello, When using the ACC module in fusion and creating a new campaign , there is no option to select a campaign template therefore the campaigns are being created in ACC with no template thus they are missing the "workflow and targeting" tab. Is there a way to select a template? Thank you,
