Hello, I would like to add a task within our projects that closes 10-15 min after the handoff date. I tried experimenting with the task constraints and tracking mode, but it doesn't seem to work properly. I believe these go off the planned completion date which doesn't take account for tasks that close early or late. For whatever reason, the projected start date doesnt match when a previous task is closed or cancelled, it can add hours or days even know the previous task was closed early. Is there a way to set a task to auto close x amount of time after the handoff date? I am doing this to allow fusion to run and add/remove tasks based on selections made in previous tasks. Sometimes users make selections and then close their task too quickly not giving the system enough time to process.

Can anyone tell me how to add the project, task, and/or URL to my custom email notifications? Here is an example of a subject line: ACTION REQUIRED: Task Assignment: {project:name}

My co-worker is experiencing a filter not staying on within the Planner after closing her browser and getting back into Workfront (the filter goes back to the default filter).  Her filters stay on within the Workload Balancer and all other areas of Workfront. We tried having her create her own filter and not using the shared filter but it did the same thing. It isn't a huge deal but annoying. Any advice/suggestions?

Hi all, I am trying to pull primary contact/requested by name into a task report which is filtered to just one task. I have a new team but not everyone needs to manage the new Dynamic Board in Workfront.  Is there an option to provide VIEW only access to maybe a Reader/Requestor license?  Or does anyone that wants to VIEW a Dynamic Board require Worker or higher license?Thanks

Are we were able to see proof comments in the task we have the proof created in?

"New - Pending Approval" filter / view is now missing now that I've been forced to use the new Home page.They are visible but they are lost in the catch all of all my "My Approvals" widget. How do I get this back from my Legacy Home dashboard?  

Hello, When using the ACC module in fusion and creating a new campaign , there is no option to select a campaign template therefore the campaigns are being created in ACC with no template thus they are missing the "workflow and targeting" tab. Is there a way to select a template? Thank you,

Has anyone had success uploading document versions through the API? I find the documentation on the API challenging at best and desperately need some help... Long story short, our company has religiously linked files into Workfront via Box. We've just found out that out IT dept is moving our cloud storage from Box to sharepoint in the next 6 weeks and I need to ensure we don't lose our linked files. The best/most elegant solution I can come up with is to store all files locally as a new version of the linked files. This way we won't lose any comments or proofs that are currently available directly in our projects.  My plan was to use fusion to listen for changes to projects over the next 6 weeks and, using the box connector, download the file and then re-upload. Unfortunately, fusion can only upload a file, not a new version unless I make a custom API call. This is where I got stuck. Hello! Can someone help me sort out the difference between document approvals and proof approvals, and when to use each? Our in-house marketing team solely uses proofs and never uses document approvals. But now without having a widget in new home for "approvals I've created," we have no way to track these other than email notifications. Wondering if adding a document approval would help this? Would it then show in the "All Approvals" widget in new home? But then I'm confused on why a proof approval wouldn't automatically show up as the document approval? And it doesn't make sense that a document approver could be different than the proof approver? Thanks for helping me sort this out. 

I am trying to merge three columns of data into the same column with line breaks. The original Column 0 was Project Name, Column 1 was Project Reference Number and Column 3 was a custom field we call Project Code. I was able to successfully merge Columns 0 and 1 by inserting a new column between 0 and 1, pasting the below information into the new column and lastly pasting sharecol=true to column 0. value=<br>valueformat=HTMLwidth=1sharecol=true  When I try to repeat these steps to pull in the Project Code column, I'm having issues. I inserted a new column in between Project Name and and Project Code, pasted the below information into the new column and saved. I have been tasked by Manager to see if there is a way to Report on how much time passes between marking off specific tasks. Also how much time it takes for users to reply to messages in Updates.Is this possible? I've never seen a report like this. Thank you.   

With the changes to the Main menu, relocation and name change to Pin,  will this update be rolled out over the upcoming weeks? Workfront users in our organization are still seeing the Main Menu (Waffle Menu) located to the far right of the new Priorities view.

@Alison Milbury , Would it be possible to set up a discussion group/thread/section for just text mode examples? There is so much valuable examples scattered through out the community site but it doesn't seem like there is a central place where we can store them, catalog them, tag them with different metadata, etc. I could be way off base but maybe the community can comment with a yay no nay on this idea?? Hello -Our project managers create a timeline for their projects in Excel to give to the team. It's what they have done for a long time and is easy and quick to them. We have project templates that they use for each project, but those are almost too detailed for what they need for this timeline. I'm curious if anyone has ever put in a project for timeline purposes and also had the active project in as well? Seems redundant in some sense, but we'd like for them to keep the timeline in Workfront. I would create a view for them so it's easy for them to export it and make the changes when needed. I attached two screenshots. One is the timeline from Excel and one is from what I created in Workfront. The dates don't match since the timeline was created a while ago. To me it seems like it should work just fine, but not sure if we are overthinking it and thinking it will be harder in Workfront than Excel. Hi All, I’m looking for a solution or step-by-step guide on how to mass update a custom report view. Is this possible? Case:I have a custom report built with 100+ text mode columns. Each column uses multiple valueexpression=IF statements (as per the attachement), which returns specific project/product data based on a reference code associated with a project. The reference code is part of a dropdown list within a project’s custom form. The report works perfectly. What I want to achieve is a smart and quick way to update the report view every time we add a new code or amend the result data for an existing code. Any ideas would be appreciated!  I thought Kick-Start would be a preferred method, but I can’t quite wrap my head around it. The excel export doesnt provide any meaningfull data and Im not sure what to do with .properties files which come along the export. Kind regards,Lukasz 

Hello, does anyone have any suggestions for an Adobe product to help with disclosure management (text)?  Looking for a web-based system to store legal disclosures that could tie into our Workfront projects.  Today we are doing this by the submitter opening a project and manually providing the disclosure that is needed in the creative asset.  Open to errors, mis- keying by submitter, designer, proofreader etc. Looking for a more automated process.  thanks 

Hi all, we're working towards using a report within Workfront to visualize our product roadmap. Right now we have all of our backlogged items are in WF as individual requests, grouped by the upcoming sprint we have them tentatively planned for. Does anyone have any suggestions on the most visual way within WF to display this? We're open to switching our backlogged items to tasks as well, if that's best for our reporting. Any insight on how other teams approach this is appreciated!

Hello! Anyone know if it is possible to have a folder created on the task level show on the project level? I know the documents themselves will show, but it doesn't appear the folders do and just want to confirm.If anyone has an tips on workarounds that would also be appreciated!

Hi All,  I'm trying to create a calculated field that uses IF(ISBLANK logic to only display the typeahead that has data entered (only one field will have data due to display logic in the form).  Example below: IF(ISBLANK({DE:typeahead field 1}.{name}),IF(ISBLANK({DE:typeahead field 2}.{name}),{DE:typeahead field 1}.{name}), {DE:typeahead field 2}.{name})) my calculation isn't working and WF doesn't recognize the typeahead field names when I enter them into the code.

Hello, I am looking to create a project-level report that displays the status of multiple tasks within each project. I want it to look like this: Project Name - Task 1 - Task 2 - Task 3 (Columns) Project 1 - Complete - Complete - In Progress Project 2 - Complete - In Progress - In Progress Project 3 - In Progress - New - New Anyone know some coding that can pull task status at the project level? 'Task 1' would have the exact same name in each project. Thanks!!

We have a need to prevent users from turning off their Approval Notifications.  Is there a way to prevent or disable the users' ability to do this?

We have several reports/queues written for users and most of them are grouped by something, like status or task. When grouped, they seems to be in an odd order - in the case of status, the status that equates with current (current and rush) are at the bottom, so they must collapse all others to see their current projects. Is there a way to have the current ones at the top?
