Description: I want to be able to create a template task report and to bulk update them, regardless if they belong to different templates. Why is this feature important to you: sometimes we have to make changes in bulk to all template tasks. This becomes cumbersome when we have +20 templates to manage. How would you like the feature to work: I want to be able to create a template task report and to bulk update them, regardless if they belong to different templates.Current Behavior: I can't bulk update template tasks if they belong to different templates.
Description - Checkbox fields often get lost in our custom forms and are hard to read because of the way Workfront displays them after the user submits their request. The checkbox field could use some improvements so it stands out more on custom forms. Why is this feature important to you - Makes it easier to identity these items on a form on requests we receive. How would you like the feature to work - Show all the values and keep the same checkbox format. (see 2nd screenshot) Current Behaviour - Checkbox field displays the values you selected in a long row or paragraph format (see screenshots).
I have field with dropdown options and i want to see grouping based on that field.
Wow! Thank you so much to Jen Desmond (@jendesmond) for breaking down Workfront Fusion and walking us through some live examples, as well as Sam Taylor (@samtaylor) for bringing his expertise to the chat! 🎉 If you missed the event, the slides and recording are included with some helpful resources below. Jen gives an overview of Workfront Fusion, what it can do, and then demos how to build a couple scenarios. In app notification when a predecessor task is marked complete for a task I'm on. Currently it's just an email notification and would be helpful to be in app.
Hello,I need to be able to export the list of "Exceptions" (i.e. public holidays) for each of our schedules. So I've created a report on Schedules that includes the following column: displayname=nonWorkDays listdelimiter=, listmethod=nested(nonWorkDays).lists textmode=true type=iterate valueexpression=CONCAT(STRING({nonWorkDate}),if(isblank({scheduleDay}),'','#'),STRING({scheduleDay})) valueformat=text This works like a charm on the screen, but as soon as I export the report data, the nonWorkDays column is empty.I've tried using another listdelimiter, changing valueformat to HTML, and also replacing the valueexpression with valuefield=nonWorkDate (for simplicity), still no joy.If I create a project report and include the collection of the tasks, as follows, the collection is included in the export file: displayname=Project Tasks Names listdelimiter=<p> listmethod=nested(tasks).lists textmode=true type=iterate valuefield=name valueformat=HTML I wonder what I am
Currently the only the report owner can save reports in folders.Reports should be able to be organized regardless of the owner. And a 2nd or 3rd in dragging multiple reports at a time.
Struggling to get this to work. I'm hoping to get a View column to be used on the Templates page that displays the total Planned Hours in teach Template for a specific roleID. Is this possible?
My manager exported some utilization data from Planner. The actual hours for a particular user seemed low, and we realized it was because this user had logged hours for tasks to which she had not been assigned. We're trying to determine how widespread this issue might be.I built an hours report, and I first tried filtering where the owner ID does not equal the assigned to IDownerID=FIELD:task:assignedToID ownerID_Mod=neThis did pull records we're looking for, but it also pulled records where the person logging the hours was an assignee on the task but not the primary assignee. Is there a way to filter out the latter records? I tried experimenting with different variations of my filter (including using assignmentsListString and assignmentsUsersMM), all without success. Does anyone know how to filter on hours logged by non-assignees?
We're implementing a new request process and need to close out a request queue. If I archive it will the active requests remain active? Thanks Justin
Currently requestors can view their submitted requests in the Classic interface and then choose to copy their request allowing a new request to be edited and submitted as new. Our teams have many year/over year requests (i.e Open Enrollment, Events etc) so this prevents manual copying & pasting. I was informed the there is no official Adobe documentation confirming whether the Copy feature will be added to the New Workfront Experience in the future. Since this is a newly introduced feature, it may be considered for inclusion once the Classic interface is fully retired. I would love this feature to be included.
Hi Folks, I invite you to save and use the following super helpful URL: https://experienceleague.adobe.com/search.html#q=doug_den_hoed__atappstore&sort=relevancy%2520descending&f:el_product=%5BWorkfront%5D I personally keep as a shortcut on my desktop, and whenever I want to search with Adobe Experience League for something that is related to Workfront I then simply: double click that shortcut edit the URL to replace the doug_den_hoed__atappstore default with whatever phrase is of interest (e.g. cautionary tale), then click enter to return the results, which (9 times out of 10) returns what I'm after within the first few results Regards, Doug NOTE: originally, this was the link, but it now fails, so I replaced it on May 14, 2025 with the version above https://experienceleaguecommunities.adobe.com/t5/custom/page/page-id/GlobalSearch#q=doug_den_hoed__atappstore&sort=relevancy&f:el_product=[Workf
DescriptionBefore the migration, users who logged directly into Workfront without an existing account were automatically assigned a requestor account. This functionality is no longer working. Now, admins must manually create accounts for these users, which causes delays in our operations since requestors cannot submit tickets until access is granted. Why is this feature important to you? After the migration, the lack of this functionality has increased the workload for admins and slowed down ticket processing. How would you like the feature to work?Ideally, users who access Workfront without an account should be automatically provisioned with one and assigned to the appropriate product.Current BehaviorUsers receive an account, but they are not assigned to the product automatically.
When an output is selected on a module, move that item to the top of the outputs list for easier access to those fields. It's painful to scroll through 100's of fields to find one that you selected as an output.
I have the following text mode working on a project report but I need to create a task report with the same column. If anyone can help adapt the text mode to work from a task report it would be much appreciated.aggregator.displayformat=currencyStringCurrency aggregator.function=SUM aggregator.valuefield=actualAmount aggregator.valueformat=doubleAsDouble descriptionkey=actualamount listsort=doubleAsDouble(actualAmount) namekey=actualamount querysort=actualAmount shortview=true stretch=100 styledef.comparison.leftmethod=double(actualAmount) styledef.comparison.operator=gt styledef.comparison.operatortype=double styledef.comparison.rightmethod=double(plannedAmount) styledef.comparison.truetext=font-weight:900;color:#990000; valuefield=actualAmount valueformat=currencyStringCurrency width=100

Hi, We currently are having due dates that vary on projects between time zones (IST vs MST/EST) that throw off deadlines and in our instance we have specific schedules for the 2 as well as exception dates (holiday calendars). We thought we had found a solution under the project preferences when working with Workfront support and for awhile things seemed to work. However, recently we are now seeing the same schedules issues occurring and different due dates in different time zones that are causing items to be late. In a recent example we had the Diwali holiday fall in between the duration of a task and because of this exception date it pushed this task due date further out then just the time zone. When working with Workfront support on this recently example, they advised that the schedules are working as they are set to, which is fine, their recommendation was to have our Global teams set there work laptops to the home office time zone and this will not cause delays in p
Does anyone have any good recommendations for comparing task planned hours vs. actual hours at the daily level for a specific user? I'm seeing all the pieces I'd need in isolation, but can't figure out how to bring them together into the WLB or a report: I can see actual hours logged against a project/task per day via a reportI can see planned hour allocations per day via the Workload Balancer But I can't see actual hours in the Workload Balancerand I can't drill the Planner down to individual daysand I can't pull the planned hours allocations from the WLB per day into any reports Barring something native in WF, does anyone have recommendations on third-party scheduling tools that Fusion can easily pass data into?
When copying the link to a project, (or task, or anything in Workfront), it used to paste into an email, teams chat, or excel doc (or anywhere else) as the title to the project. Now, it shows experience.adobe.com... etc. and a random box without any relevant information shows. Is this something that will change? Why does it have to be like this?
Description - We love the new Custom Form Enhancement that gives our users the ability to collapse sections they are not interested in. While this feature is awesome we're hoping it can be enhanced further. Please give the Custom Form owners the ability to default certain sections to be collapsed automatically. Why is this feature important to you - This will ensure that anyone looking at the custom form is not distracted by sections that are not applicable to most users. How would you like the feature to work - A checkbox on the Section field within a custom form would be beneficial. Perhaps it could be a checkbox that states "Collapse section by default". Current Behaviour - When you uncollapse a custom form, all sections are uncollapsed by default. This setting would give the custom form owner control over what sections are uncollapsed when the user first views the form.
Description - Auto-populate assignees to assignments when tactics are requested. Why is this feature important to you - Assignments are a recurring and tedious tasks that project managers have to do for every single tactic. If we could identify assignees at the tactic initiation request, it would save significant time setting up projects and tactics. How would you like the feature to work - When a tactic is requested, the requester would identify assignees for the task assignments, and the assignments would be updated when the tactic is created.Current Behaviour - A tactic is created with assignments, the project manager has to update the assignments to the specific assignee using Workload Balancer < Bulk Assignments.

We have a drop down list of all our properties in our custom project intake form. It's long, old and needs to be updated. Is there a way to export that drop down list with all the options so I can get it marked up by a copy editor?
The Home area as well as Document Version reporting needs to have the ability to filter out all the proofs a users is tagged to Review, even if they are not an Approver. The My Work area had this but the Home area never received this feature and ther are no reporting options to show a user their proofs as a "Reviewer". This is a very big gap that is causing my users significant frustration. Please vote this up! Thanks!
Hi all, does anyone know if there's a way to add a column to a Proof Approval Report that pulls the issue name and its owner name that the proof was uploaded to? (here proof is part of the task in a project which was resolved by the issue)
