Is it possible to add a prompt to a report that allows you to enter a date range that is not associated with an object? For example, I want to find all projects that were current during a specific date range. I don't want the date range to be linked to an entry date, planned date, completed date etc. Tracy Bryant UF/IFAS Communications

Hi All I'm looking to create a report where i can look at all the profile changes that have been made to a user. As an example i used to use the update feed for that user, but once they have done 200 updates across Workfront i am unable to now see when something like a layout template was changed for that user. If someone could tell me what report prompt and filters i should use to set this up so that i can run a report against a user profile of my choice that would be great. Thanks Jonathan Thain BT Group

Hello! Is anyone here using the Workfront/Sharepoint integration for document storage? If so, how is it working and how difficult is it to setup? Thank you, Susan Susan

We are sending reports to our customers that show the hours we have worked for them and they would like to know how many pages each report has to ensure that pages are not missing. As I see it, I cannot change anything in the footer of a report where the page number is visible. I want to be able to show "Page 1 of 12" if the report has 12 pages. Is that possible? √òystein Birkeland

Hello - We are currently implementing Workfront and trying to determine the best way to track what "phase" of the lifecycle each project is in (Initiating, Planning, Executing, Closing, Complete). Does it make sense to build each one out as "Statuses" that equate back to "Current"? For example - create Initiating, Planning, Executing, and Closing that all equate to "Current". I want to take an existing WF template and export it to MS Project. In that way, I'm not re-creating the template or reconcile the changes every time I have to use it in Sandbox. Has anyone ever did this? This seems to be the simpliest solution vs. using a kick-start.

Hi all, This might be a dumb question, but I'm having trouble figuring this out on my own. How do you tag / notify everyone on a project in an update? Normally I'd search for a person or team by typing @ followed by their name, or I'd type the user or team name in the "Notify" field. Is there something specific I need to type in order to tag everyone on the project team? Thanks! Alex

I was trying to figure out how to create a report that shows the dates a project was made current and the dates the project was marked Complete and show a count on the number of days as compared to the template days. count on the number of days. The data is probably there, just not sure how to pull it. Any help would be appreciated. In other words ... Project Marked Current Marked Complete Duration Template days Days over/under template project A 2/3/20 2/12/20 7 days 5 days 2 days Mark Hahn

Hi all, We have custom integration set-up between Salesforce and Workfront and I would like for my sales reps to see the Projects that are created from an Opportunity within the Opportunity. With the standard integration of these two systems, you can see projects created from the standard triggers within the opportunity, but I'm hoping there's a way you can also see projects related to an opportunity if they are created from a custom integration too. Has anyone tried this? Thanks, Allison Sizemore Advantage | ForbesBooks

Hi, all! Would anyone be able to assist me with creating a text mode filter showing projects missing a certain custom field called 'Account Manager' (or if it's easier, projects missing a custom form with a name containing the word 'Intake')? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I've got a template set up where I have several tasks assigned to a Designer, Brand Manager, or Copywriter. Is there a way when setting up the template to easily replace all of the Role placeholders with a specific user? I've seen this before on Workamajig, but I can't figure it out on Workfront. Seems like I'd have to bulk edit the tasks in question (which wouldn't work very well with tasks that have multiple assignees). Seth Skinner Focus Brands

Has anyone figured a workaround for simplifying the amount of math a PM has to do to figure out the number of planned hours they need to assign to a resource (or multiple!) when a task spans a duration of multiple weeks? Our team is used to working in percentages by the week so it's been difficult translating the percentages to hours. Thanks! Christine Zhu Chobani

Hey Everyone! Hope you are all enduring the winter so far... spring is around the corner, and Workfront LEAP 2020 is fast approaching. In the past we've had a pretty sizable Twin Cities group attend. At such a sizable conference, it is often nice to have a group of familiar faces to network with, get dinner with, or hit the after parties with (or even White Castle at waaay too late). If you're headed to Orlando this year, let us know. My self and my colleague Diana will be attending this year. Can't wait! If you haven't attended and want to know more about it, feel free to post up questions as well. Matt Marks

Thanks everyone for signing up! Hi Everyone, We're looking for a few people to give feedback on the new feature of editing your updates. This study will be very short (~20 min), so please sign up if you'd like to participate! Thanks! Elissa Elissa Lauber

Hi all, I'm the very new System Admin for my team. One user has the Planner level of access, and he was able to create a new project. However when he's in the Edit Project settings and he scrolls down to the Portfolio drop down, he only sees two very old portfolios to choose from. He doesn't see the newer portfolios that were created in 2020. He even clicked on 'Projects' in the global nav bar, and then selected the Portfolios tab. When I'm logged in, I see all portfolios. But when he logs in as Planner, he only sees two old portfolios and he doesn't see the new 2020 portfolios. Can someone advise which settings I should review? CD

hi Stephen, one of the ways to access these is through a note report. I think this thread covers the basics. "https://one.workfront.com/s/question/0D50z00006Px3iKCAR/" https://one.workfront.com/s/question/0D50z00006Px3iKCAR/ -skye

Hello - Does anyone have an idea if it would be possible to do the following based on this screenshot: Using the | Master Creative Project Number to combine all 5 projects into a single line to see the minimum and maximum start date? So for the total length of time for Creative project 3929201 with a Planned Start of March 2, 2020 through Planned Completion of May 5, 2020? Sorry if I'm not writing it properly :) I'm a first timer! Thank you! Laura

Session registration is open for LEAP. Who's going to Orlandoooooo?? We've gotten lucky enough to have 4 going from our team and can't wait. But, our next in-person meeting is scheduled for 4/23, the week before LEAP. Any thoughts/preferences on making that a call-in session instead? Of course if anyone from the area is going to LEAP, we should meet-up there as well! We've also got some plans in the works for our July 23, in-person meeting. Potentially moving it up to mid-day-ish, providing lunch, and having someone from Workfront call in if there's something we'd like them to talk about. More to come on that.

I've been out of the loop lately, and may have missed this announcement. Have GMAIL integration gone live? Thanks, Benetta Perry APS

Is it possible for co approvers to receive notification when someone else has approved an issue/request approval so they wont bother to go in and approve. Doesn't appear to be such a notification, but maybe there is another way to achieve?

I am an admin and created a timesheet report for a team member. This team member doesn't manage the team members on the timesheet report but she will be pulling the report for the manager who is over those team members. This member is on both Teams within her Access profile. As an admin, I can see all team members in the report; however, she is not seeing all team members. Does anyone know what I can do so she can pull the full report with all team members? Thanks Risa Wilson Risa Wilson CHOA

Hi WF Community. I'm looking at the potential of adding a custom landing page that users see when they first log in. I'm familiar with how to use layout templates and designate what page users see when they log in, but at present, I don't see an option to identify a custom tab or some other custom page as the default. It seems as though I can only select a global nav page. Is my request possible? Thanks.Nick
