Whenever I open a proof to view or edit it in Workfront, it displays at 1%, WAY too small to view. I always begin my proofing by updating this to "page height" or 100%. It is annoying to have to do this every time! I have restarted my computer and refreshed my Edge browser, but the problem continues. Please help!
Description - The ability to create, update, delete, and de-activate issues, routing rules, queue topics, topic groups in bulk How would you like the feature to work - It would be ideal if there was a "Master Dashboard" for Group Admins that you could create, update, delete, and de-activate routing rules, queue topics, topic groups and apply forms and then assign them to projects and templates all in one place in bulk. Current Behaviour - When an update is needed or a new issue form needs to be added we have to manually add, update, delete, or de-activate the form, routing rule, queue topic, and topic group to over 1000's of projects and 100's of templates. This effort takes our team days to complete. Why is this feature important to you - We are making implementation decisions based on maintenance burden and if we could have bulk action, we could better meet the needs of our users without having to account for days of work to make all the updates.
“Assign Design” is often the first task on a project. We would like to set the default end date of all Assign Design tasks to a day of the week (Tuesday). Is it possible to add a lag type to the first task of a project, utilizing “3w” somehow? We would prefer to achieve this without having to add a task prior to “assign design” If it’s not possible, I think we’ll have to ask our PM’s to manually set the duration to make that task end on a Tuesday each time they create a project.
The current column width adjustment control is about ~2 pixels wide when at 100% zoom. Users find it very hard to adjust column size, often time miss-clicking and not getting the column width resizing option. If the clickable zone was approximately twice the size, it would be far less finicky.
Currently comments in proofing documents are one-directional (from the proof to Workfront) and only for added comments. When a comment in the proof is deleted, it is not deleted from the document feed in Workfront. Also, when a user replies to a comment in the document feed, it is not posted to the proof. Both feeds need to speak to each other seamlessly. In the case of deleted comments in the proof, users are confused when they see 2 comments in the proof, but 8 comments in the document feed. They worry that they're missing key feedback.
Hi everyone, since saturday I got >1000 errors from Fusion. This clearly coincides with maintenance that was happening for Fusion last weekend. How is your instance doing? BestR
Our delivery team has every sku as a task in our instance and we want a way to bulk edit task durations. Right now we have to individually update durations as things change for the due date of those items.
Would it be possible for Admins to designate certain fields in Project properties as required in order for Project Owners to create projects? Portfolio and Program are very important fields and Project Owners often forget to select them when creating projects. If we could require values in those fields then Project Owners would be forced to make selections when opening projects.
Hello , I am new to Workfront. I am looking for a solution to create a report with below metrics for Adobe Target activities. Can this be achieved with Adobe Target and Workfront integration? If yes, please share some details . Thankyou. Some of the operational metrics required in a periodic report are. Long running activities (>20 days) Average number of days active activities is live Percentage of A/B, MVT, XT & Recommendations activity Number of Activities with positive lift Number of activity live in a given week Thanks
when I set up a Iteration for 2 weeks ( meaning 10 working days ) then why i see in project plan it is 9,38 days or more or less and not 10 days. If you can please help with the formula behind. Thanks for assisting .
We would like task assignees (that have a plan license), to be able to change project status to Complete, however, we do NOT want to allow them to change task dates. I feel like this can be done and I am just missing or forgetting something. Anyone know?
For my public report, it looks like: - with a WF license I can use the prompts, but the gantt view is not available - without a WF license I cannot use prompts or gantt Does anyone know if there is a way to enable these two features in my public report? If Gantt is not an option (even with a license), then I will have to share two different report links with our mixed audience.
Projects on Hold - whilst those tasks are being removed from "My Work" they're still showing in Workload Balancer. We had a scenario where:-The PM wrote an update on the Project but the user assigned to a task didnt receive it (a separate issue)-There aren't any notes at the Task level to show a Project is on Hold-Workload Balancer shows the Task to be completed without the Project Status (I cant find a way to change settings/ views to remove projects on hold, except for using a filter which isn't a long term strategy; Scheduler removed visibility of Projects on Hold).-This user seeing the work in Workload Balancer, completed the work but when they went to mark it as complete they recieved the error message that the Project was On Hold. Whats best practice for Projects on Hold knowing that tasks still showup in Workload Balancer? Is the best way to remove the assignee from the task to mark it blank? We dont currently use Job Roles (project underway), so this would
Is it correct to say that new proof email notification content is not captured in the updates on the project? (I am aware that it is captured in the messages section under proofing activities.) If not, is better integration coming? Right now you can not reply to the email and have the conversation show in updates. Thank you.
Hello, I've received an email to register for an event with a deadline of today. However, the button to click on does not work and the email provided, bounces back to me. thebalancingact@adobeevents.com. I have tried contacting my Workfront and no resposnse. Can anyone help me please? thanks Jennifer
Description - Allow the placement of the same field within different sections of a custom form Why is this feature important to you - Display logic can then be put around sections but multiple groups could then use the same field on one custom form How would you like the feature to work - The field will always populate with the same value, but it should be allowed to be placed within different sections of the same custom form. Display Logic would then need to apply based on the section that the field is in. Needs to allow ability to deterine later fields as today Current Behaviour - Can only put field on form once
When you have a large project schedule and a small computer screen, it is very difficult to read our project schedules. There is a lot of scrolling up and down to find logic/task relationships which makes the user experience very frustrating.I am requesting to addition of a "Full Screen Mode" when updating project schedules to allow for more of the schedule to be visible on one screen. This eliminates scrolling up and down and removes the frustration of the poor user experience.
Description - The Daily Digest of Comments is not useful because it just indicates how many comments on each project. And the only way to see more is to "See All Notifications" so its not really helping me determine which comments need action. I want to see the actual comments in the digest. Why is this feature important to you -It is less important that the email is short and more important that its useful.I want to determine if I need to take action on any of the comments without having to click into each project. How would you like the feature to work - Have the first sentence or two of each comment from that day be in the actual email. Current Behaviour - The email lists the top 5 projects and provides me with the number count on each project. Why would I care how many comments are on a project?
Hello. Our team has several projects that we'd like to combine in one view. The thought is to bring in multiple Projects at the Project level (where tasks are displayed) in the same view. Basically, you'd click on Project A and in the task list, you'd see tasks from Project B and Project C. Yet, Projects B and Project C would live independently. Maybe it's a custom view or grouping? Does anyone have experience in viewing a project in a project? Your thoughts and/or feedback is appreciated. Thanks!
We need to use a document report to add custom status notes for proofs but want to be able to pull in Proof Approval > Approver ID similar to a proof approval report. It doesn't work copying over in text mode and we can't locate anything similar except for adding proofs based on that project's sponsor or owner. Does anyone have any suggestions? Our goal is to allow our teams to add notes stating who the proof is with for review or other information inline without having to click into each proof. We can't add the custom form that is editable inline to a Proof Approval report.
Hello, is it somehow possible to copy a custom form and also its fields to prevent modifying the original form when changing field parameters in the new one? Thanks in advance. RegardsLars
Hello, is it somehow possible to remove the requestors right to change the percentage of completion, as well as the request status? As it is not possible to add requests as an external user, we were thinking about providing our customers with requestor licences. But if someone creates a new request, he or she can also change the completion percentage to 100% or manually set the status to Closed, what could lead to the fact, that the request will never be processed.
I have a user that submitted dozens of timesheets that were never approved. The approver is deactivated and those submitted timesheets are clogging the Approvals I've Submitted tab on the users homepage. I know I can turn the filter off so the tab doesn't show, but is there a way to do a mass approval for all the timesheets?
Hello! I have a supervisor in our organization who oversees several individuals. She would like to be able to view when her direct reports have time off scheduled. I showed her where users enter time off in their own calendars, but she would like to see all of their time off in one single calendar. Does this already exist in Workfront? Or alternately, can you use a Calendar report to build something like this? Does anyone have experience with a similar request? Thank you, Tina Plotner Project Coordinator Mountain West Farm Bureau
Do you know where your organization falls in terms of resource management maturity? Or what needs to happen in order to take full advantage of Workfront’s resource management tools? To wrap up the resource management blog series, this week will focus on understanding where your team is today and will provide a list of best next actions to move towards resource management optimization. 4 STAGES OF RESOURCE MANAGEMENT MATURITY Being great at resource management does not happen overnight. In addition to learning the tools, effective resource management also requires changes to team work processes, people’s behavior, and even organizational culture. In order to take the suggested crawl, walk, run approach, it is useful to understand the various stages that can be associated with Resource Management Maturity: Ad Hoc (Accidental) - Work managers have very little information around the existing workload of their resources.
