Description - I would love for the Illustrator extension to enable creatives to timesheet as the Indesign and Photoshop extension does. Why is this feature important to you - This is the main tool our creatives use so would be amazing.
Hi WF Community, I'm trying to figure out how to create a report - that will be part of a dashboard added as a custom tab at the portfolio level - whereby we can surface only programs where all of the projects with them have either project Status of "Complete" or "Scoping Archived".I would I need to leverage EXISTS filtering in my report? Anyone able to provide some guideance or an example? Thanks,Nick
Hello, I am currently working on our initial system setup and was wondering, if it is somehow possible to hide a task for an associated person, until the enforced predecessor task is completed. Until now I only found out, that a notification is shown, if the person tries to work on a task depending on its predecessor. Thanks for any help. Regards Lars
Is there a way to see if a comment was deleted from a proof?
Hello, I'm trying to bring Program/Portfolio names on Issue custom form because text mode grouping (on Program/Portfolio - Issue report) doesn't allow Summary and Charting option. By using API explorer, I'm able to come up with: {project}.{program}.{name} but it doesn't work. Kindly help!
Description - If you're on an unactivated stage in routing and someone @'s you in the proof, you should be able to reply directly to that comment, but right now, you can't. Why is this feature important to you - We have a few designers with specific skills that are on a File Build Check stage but if a client asks a question regarding the project to one of those designers, they're unable to respond in the proof because they're stage isn't active or their role and have to go through additional steps to correspond, mostly outside of the proof/Workfront. It seems unnecessary. How would you like the feature to work - Just make it that if you're @'d in a comment on the proof you can respond directly to that comment even if your stage is not activated. Current Behaviour - If you want to respond to that comment you're @'d in, you either have to have someone change your role and move you to a previous stage or you have to carry the conversation over to the project, or find
Description - When you open a user's profile page in Workfront, you would see their title on top. This title is not necessarily associated with the work they perfom within Workfront. Meaning I could be a senior manager but my job in Workfront is to strategize campaign so my role is Strategic Marketer. It would make more sense to have the job roloe show up instead of my title Why is this feature important to you - This way the admins do not need to keep updating the user titles are they switch roles. How would you like the feature to work - Another way could be to just hide the title from the profile page so user's cannot see it. Current Behaviour - Currently we see the title on top of the user name and it is a manual task where the admin team will need to go into each profile and match the title to their current title in the org. Since we do not get notified about this unless the user themselves come and tell us or else the admin team will need to put a weekly/monthly process in ploa
Transfer a request to someone outside of Workfront for handling Why is this feature important to you - not everyone uses Workfront therefore, when I have a request that should have gone elsewhere, I sometimes have to spend time adding all the details to an email message to transfer to a non-Workfront team. How would you like the feature to work - from the request landing page, click the 3 dots and choose Transfer to open a popup window to compose an email to include a custom message plus PDF of custom form information and existing update feed along with documents attached. Current Behaviour - all request data and comments has to be manually gathered and copy/pasted to an email, attachments downloaded and attached to said email to send to a team outside of Workfront.
I keep getting: HTTP ERROR 404 Problem accessing /qstile. Reason: Not Found
Is anyone else unable to "like" posts or ideas? I do not see this currently listed as a known issue.
I love seeing all the great content and idea sharing that happens here. I have tried to "like" posts that help over the past couple and days and nothing happens. I have been able to click Like and have it register but something seems to have changed. Is anyone else experiencing this? (I may just need to clear cache)
Hello all! I've run into an issue with a report. I have a task report that is grouped by "Assigned To Name". When there are multiple people assigned to a task, the task only shows up under one assignee. (See screenshot below). For example, if Name 1 and Name 2 are both assigned to a task, it only shows up under the grouping for Name 1. (I assume this is because Name 1 is the Task Owner). Is there a way to change the grouping so that the shared task shows up under both names? In my example below, I've kept things very simple but when I have 25+ team members, I can't as easily spot tasks that might be missing under one grouping. Any advise on this is appreciated! Description - Multi-level groups structure provide enormous benefit and enterprise-level management. Many settings preferences propagate throughout a hierarchical groups structure and allow for group-level control. Project Preferences and Task & Issue Preferences are examples of this. This same level of hierarchical control has not been carried consistently for Events Notifications. Hierarchical control for Events Notifications is needed for true enterprise management. Why is this feature important to you - Granular control within a group hierarchy for enterprise management. How would you like the feature to work - Need ability to lock/unlock propagation of settings at *all* group levels and allow those settings to be fully editable at any level where the parent level has that setting unlocked. Current Behavior - Current behavior does not allow event notification settings to be edited beyond the first level.
Description - Would love to see you develop pinned items to the next level and allow us to create our own menus. Currently a majority of our users have so many pinned items that too many fall into the 3 dot area. If they want to bring any items to the main area they have to remove and re-add pinned items. If we could change a pin into a personalized menu we could group in more meaningful ways to each user (similar to bookmark folders in a web browser). Why is this feature important to you - UI enhancement, adoption, more user friendly and intuitive How would you like the feature to work - Create a main item for the pinned area, i.e., 1-on-1 Meetings, that becomes a menu item with a caret and when you click on it you can add sub-menu pinned items like each of the 1-1 projects for your team members. Current Behaviour - You can pin many items, depending on your browser "view" and whether it's zoomed in or out, you will see a limited number of items in your pinned area. Any ite
Journal entry reports are great for tracking specific detail on objects. For some reason, and WF support has confirmed this, there is no journal entry report for tracking updates on templates. We have a ton of templates and I need to track who is making certain edits to them (i.e. planned hours, new tasks, durations, etc.). WF, please give the option to use a journal entry report for templates! Every other object is supported.
Does anyone know how to add the planned completion time to the homepage worklist for all users with a worker license?
We are considering taking a look at the mobile app but I see the reviews in the app and play store aren't that great. Would anyone like to share their experiences good or bad? Thanks Frank
Documents uploaded to a TASK will appear in the PROJECT documents list. It would be great if documents uploaded to a TASK were automatically "foldered" in the PROJECT list by task name.

Communication and collaboration within the context of work is an essential part of an Operational System of Record. Historical project communication should be stored as part of the project plan for the purposes of performing a project retrospective or even passing an audit. Workfront provides robust, native collaboration capabilities as well as the ability to integrate with best of breed collaboration solutions like Slack and MS Teams. Most Workfront users have probably intuited the ability to start threaded discussions on projects, tasks, documents and other work items via the Updates area. Users have the ability to invite other users or entire functional teams into these threaded discussions. However, there is not an option to tag an entire project team in threaded discussions from the Updates area. What if you want to send an announcement to all members of the project team? One example might be a change in project scope that the entire team needs to know about. Using th
Hello, I have a need to update frequently multiple tasks within a given project with the same % Complete number. Instead of clicking one task at a time, is there any way to do a bulk update of those multiple tasks at once? Any help is greatly appreciated. Grazie! Best,+Pavlin

On a recent webinar a system admin with Disney shared that they refer to their Workfront instance as R.O.Z. (like from the infamous curmudgeon from Monsters Inc.) How fun is that? Would love to hear if any others have adopted a new name for Workfront as well!
Notes Report: Does anyone know a way to group updates/comments/notes by thread (parent note)? Or show all comments as a discussion in the Notes report. In the example below I would like to show the reply (thank you) under the parent (per Slack with ...).
