Hi All, I am looking for a quick way to see if projects have Billing Records associated to them. I can create a billing record report that shows the project name, but I can't figure out how to create a project report that indicates if the project has billing records. I don't need to see the name of the record(s), just a true/false would be fine. If the only way to see it is to include the name(s) of the records, that is fine too. Looking for something like the Has Expenses field. Thanks in advance for the help.

Hi WF Community, We have a custom form called Incident Triage Requests. Folks attach and fill out this form on issue records. Those issues records are originally logged against any project in the system. We have a routing rule set up on a specific project called Incident Triage Requests that routes issues logged to any project using the Incident Triage Request form to this project. Example:Issue A is logged against Project 1Issue A has an Incident Triage Request form attached to itIssue A gets routed from Project 1 to the Incident Triage Request project THE ASKSince these issues no longer belong to their originating projects (Project 1 in the example above), is there a way to still access the originating projects data in a report query (e.g. the Actual Completion Date of the originating project)? Hope that made sense.Thanks.Nick

Is this the only way to access "Sharing" on the document level? It seems quite hidden.

Do you have a request queue where internal clients or business partners can request a new report be created for them? What fields do you include on your request form to get all the necessary information out of them?

We have a Proof in the documents tab of a project that was uploaded by Valerie, she is out of the office and we'd like Susan to save another version of that document. She's getting an error that says she doesn't have edit access. I tried sharing the doc with Susan - still no luck. What do I need to do so that works?

Hi WF Community, I'm wondering if there's a way to display a calculated column at the grouping level in the Details tab of a report? The result would be dividing the sum of two other columns. See attached screenshot to see what I mean. The Project: Record Count_Project field is a number fieldThe Record Count_ITR field is a number fieldThe ITR-to-Project-Rate field is a calculated column I created in the report, dividing the Record Count_ITR field by the Project: Record Count_Project field. I'd like to display this field calculation (ITR-to-Project-Rate) at the Project grouping level, similar to the other two fields with sums. Thanks.Nick

I'm looking to get an idea of how people are collecting information about a project once it is in motion. The two ways I see are having a Project custom form or updating a document with the relevant information. Does anyone use any other way to obtain and track the information?

I see it is possible to display custom data from a Company custom form when viewing a Project in the Home screen but I do not see custom data from a Company Custom form as an option when viewing Tasks. I would like to be able to display company level information on a task. Is this possible?

What % and/or # of your Users are effectively "Timesheet Only"? (as a follow up to today's excellent Timesheet User Group Session at https://one.workfront.com/s/question/0D54X00006EUnPVSA1/user-group-followup-nov-17-2020-timesheets)

Our WF instance is set up so when a worker moves a task to "Complete" it sends an approval to the project owner using the status "Complete - Pending approval." We want to build a report that shows how long a task is in the Pending Approval status to track how long our requesters take to approve a task. We've reached out to our WF consultant and are unable to find a solution, I thought someone in the community may have experienced the same issue.

Looking to see what others may have done; opportunities or pitfalls.

I have a custom column in my report that shoes the number of days each task is in the New status: valueexpression=WEEKDAYDIFF({entryDate},{actualStartDate}) I want to average this column so I can see the average number of days it takes to pick up a task. I've been reading about aggregate values in Workfront reporting but I can't figure out how to implement it in a way that will show the average for a bunch of tasks.

I have a Proof Approval report that shows all reports that have pending approvals and a proof deadline earlier or equal to $$TODAY. I'd like a column that shows the difference between the proof deadline and $$TODAY. I tried this: valueexpression=ABS(WEEKDAYDIFF (documentVersion:proofDeadlineDate},{$$TODAY}))valuefield=dateVariancevalueformat=HTMLaggregator.valueexpression=WEEKDAYDIFF({documentVersion:proofDeadlineDate},{$$TODAY})aggregator.function=AVGaggregator.valueformat=HTMLaggregator.namekey=datevariancenamekey=datevariancedisplayname=Date Variance (Entry to Actual Completion Date)textmode=truedescription=Entry to Actual Completion Date Obviously it didn't work. Suggestions? Thanks!

HiWhile sending report it does not filter as used from Prompt, it sends all info to the user??Even after prompt usage, and sending after also send all the data. Any tips to stop such list. Best regards,Kundan

Next week is Thanksgiving (for those based in the United States), so in a year that's been different and in a lot of ways tougher than most, top of my mind is all the things that I'm grateful to have in my life. This community and all of you wonderful people who share your expertise and time is truly one of the things I'm most grateful to have this year. When everything seemed to be up in the air, when things were shutting down or opening up, I knew that I could come here and find people that are not only really great examples of hard work, but also are just really, really nice. I wish I could list you all, but there would be way too many to On a personal note, I'm really grateful for sunshine, flowers, and great books that provide an escape. I have always loved to read and the return to a quieter, simpler time has made that hobby become even more enjoyable. (On a side note, if any of you have book recommendations, I'd love to hear them!) I'd love to hear from

Users may be located in different parts of the world. Depending on the time zone your Workfront profile is associated with, dates or times may show up differently for you vs your colleague in a different state or country. If you notice any discrepancies, such as how work is appearing on a calendar, check to see if it’s a time zone issue.

I am just having a mental block on this one… I have two fields on an assignment report: workRequired (hours assigned to user on a task)actualWorkCompleted (hours logged by that assigned user against that task) These work fine. But I am trying to conditionally format the actualWorkCompleted value bold and red if it is greater than workRequired. But despite trying a bunch of different combinations both in the Advanced area and going into text mode, I can't get the bold/red to work. You'll note a blue field behind this column (case.0), which is basically a blue field behind the entire column regardless of value. I'm guessing I'm missing some key point to get this to work? displayname=TESTlinkedname=directnamekey=actualWorkCompletedquerysort=actualWorkCompletedstyledef.case.0.comparison.icon=falsestyledef.case.0.comparison.leftmethod=statusstyledef.case.0.comparison.lefttext=statusstyledef.case.0.comparison.operator=notblankstyledef.case.0.comparison.righttext=styledef.c

I currently have conditional formatting that highlights the Planned Start Date if it's late, but we don't want it highlighted once the project starts. The idea is to alert our clients that they have not given us what we need to start the project by our agreed upon date. I attached a screenshot to help.

Some of our projects have very tight deadlines and the routing process slows us down more than anything. I have several brand teams asking if we can't just bypass reviewers who are late. Some VP's have proofs that have been waiting for their approval since August and so they've been bypassed manually, but is there any way to automate that?

Hi Everyone, I'm reaching out to see if anyone would be interested in giving feedback on a new idea for scenario planner: job roles contouring. Job roles contouring relates to the “horizontal” allocation of a job role and would allow you to define specific months during which the job role would be working across the initiative. This is a quick study (30 minutes). The product manager and designer are looking for feedback in the next week. You can see time slots here: If you can't find a time slot that works for you but want to participate, please let me know and I'll find one that does. Thanks, Elissa

I'm looking for some guidance and best practice on holding documentation within Workfront. How do others handle sensitive and/or proprietary documentation within projects? I know when a password protected document is uploaded, the password carries in. But is there a way to password protect a document within Workfront itself?

My users sometimes forget or don't realize they didn't select the name of who to send the Update to. We never have any reason to post an update without notifying a specific person. Is there a setting we can turn on that would require a person's name to notify?I don't believe there is based on what I could find, but am hoping I missed it. thanks,

None of our group admins have access to Teams within Setup, Classic or WFE. I found documentation that states Teams have a group association, but I cannot find a way to make these assignments. What am I missing?

We allow new requests to be generated directly in certain projects (that have routing details built in), without having to go to a published request queue. Does anyone know how to carry the custom data on the project into the new request that use the same Custom Fields? When we start a new request in that project, the custom fields start out blank, even though the same fields in the project are filled in.
