Now all existing issues we didn't see the custom data, I have re- added the field to the custom form but still I didn't see existing data. Is there a way to show old data to that custom form? Could any one please give me good advise to pull all old data to updated form. Thanks in advance!

One of the best ways to save A LOT of time is to bulk edit lists in Workfront. The most common list is a list of tasks in a project. Just click on the box to the left of Task Name, then click on the "pencil" edit button and you'll see everything you can bulk edit. You can also select a certain set of tasks if you'd only like to bulk edit them.

We’ve just released our 2021 State of Work Report where we examine how COVID-19 changed digital work. One of our biggest takeaways was that digital workers have become less forgiving when it comes to workplace technology‚Äîand they’re willing to act. Nearly half (49%) of U.S. workers say they are likely to leave their current job if they’re unhappy or frustrated with the technology they use at work. On the other hand, the number of digital workers who reported applying for a job because they heard a company’s employees use great technology increased by 7 points. You can read the whole report here, but we want to know‚Äîwhat has your team seen regarding the effect of technology on retention and recruitment?

It appears that I need a certificate added to my computer or our environment. When I click on the Help in the menu I get the message that the site is not trusted. I go to the advance mode to continue on to the site in the unsafe mode I am redirected to a page that starts with the following message: (Not sure if this is global or local). We have a number of people requesting for bigger text sizes for both our reports and our PDFs. I have not found a way to do so without making text mode changes to every column in a report. Is there a way to enlarge the text in a report for the entire report at one time?

My guess is no, but wanted to validate. The PPT team is interested in using Proof since it prevents users from editing the actual PPT, but asked if transitions were able to be validated in the tool. Thanks!

What I've done: created a report that finds the tasks to which I want to add a milestone. Then I select all of them and Edit, but the Milestone assignment in thge Settings section isn't an option. Is there another way to mass assign tasks to a milestone? Any clever workarounds?

Our Creative Services team takes in work via requests, then converts requests into project. They do not give access to the requestor to the project. In order to retain who the original requestor was in a project listing report, we have the following formula to capture the "Requested By" name: displayname=Requested Bylinkedname=portfolionamekey=view.relatedcolumnnamekeyargkey.0=convertedOpTasknamekeyargkey.1=ownernamekeyargkey.2=namequerysort=convertedOpTask:owner:nametextmode=truevaluefield=convertedOpTask:owner:namevalueformat=HTML The team is now looking to actually take that request, and convert to multiple projects based on the deliverables of the request (ie, one project for the timeline for cans, one project for the timeline for cartons). It's not possible to convert one request into multiple projects. What they've done is convert the request into a project for cans, then create a copy and build out the timeline for cartons. We lose the information of who reques

Is there a grouping or filter to use in a report to see all projects the employees in their home team is assigned to? Essentially, I want to create a milestone report for someone displaying all of the projects that their team has an assignment on. Thanks!

This concept has been coming up more and more as the days go by. A lot of my users are starting to turn to Excel and other project management software because this functionality does not exist in Workfront.Has anyone been able to find a way to see a high-level view of where initiatives are overlapping each other?Creating Program reports with custom date fields can only get us so far, and it's a lot to manage. We've also tried Project reports and grouping by program but that gets messy due to the volume of projects.

Hi WF Community, Does anyone know if it's possible to create a calculated aggregate using a custom column within a report view, or can you only use the aggregate function (text mode) on standard fields when creating a custom column in a report? For example, I have a custom calculated column in an Hours report that does the following:Custom Field A (Target Client Billable %) multiplied by 40 (hrs per week) = XSum hours for user A divided by X (result of above calc) = Y I want to aggregate this calculated custom column up to the grouping level so I can see a value by the hour Owner grouping. See attached screenshot of what I have right now (no aggregate) Here is my text mode code that isn't aggregating:aggregator.valueexpression=({hours}/({owner}.{DE:Target Client Billable %}*40)aggregator.valueformat=compounddisplayformat=doubleAsPercentRoundeddisplayname=% of Goal Client Billabletextmode=truevalueexpression=CONCAT({hours}/({owner}.{DE:Target Client Billable %}*40),"%&quot

Hi WF Community, Does anyone know if it's possible to access the time off hours that are identified in the Workload Balancer, and accounted for in the AVL column in the Resource Planner? I have an Hours report whereby I want to account for (subtract) hours off, associated to users, in the results of my report. Thanks.Nick

Does anyone know if there is a way to create some kind of "rate the service you just received" functionality in Workfront? I know the functionality doesn't exist in Workfront itself, but has anyone used something like this to bench line their customer service levels for things like help desk requests? (something similar to the email we get from Workfront customer support after a ticket as been resolved/closed and their asking us for a rating)

Hi everyone, Currently, we have created project briefs as a custom form at the "program" level of a project where it lives in "Program Details". Reference: https://prnt.sc/vvnr46 The issue is, we work individually on projects at the project level so it's not efficient since we have to always go back to the program level to reference the brief. Reference https://prnt.sc/vvnsn6 > Reference: https://prnt.sc/vvnu86 Ideally the brief of a project lives within each project (in the left hand pane) and when updated, updates for all programs. Let me know how you are briefing your team in Workfront, and how the workflow is for you. Thank you very much!
