@ewanhor @andyhess , How best for Fusion to run a scenario that currently runs on the first day of every calendar month (i.e., Period 1) to now run on certain days that follow the Accounting schedule of 4 weeks for Period1, 4 weeks for Period 2, and 5 weeks for Period 3? Asked another way, how do I move the scenario from running on the first day of the month to a specific day according to predetermined day according to a yearly schedule? In this new schedule - Period 1 starts on 12/31/23, Period 2 starts on 1/28/24, Period 3 starts on 2/25/24... Thanks in advance! Christina
I'm trying to create a project report that has the name of the project and the next column are the team members assigned to the project. I've tried a Task and Project report and can't seem to get the team members assigned to the project listed in one spot. Anyone know of a solution? This is for a project priority list. So we have the priority in column 1, project name in column 2, and we would like the TM's listed in column 3.
Hi all, I have a new hire in my org that worked somewhere else that used Workfront and they are saying at that organization they could open documents such as PowerPoint and Word files with a single click in the browser without downloading. Does anyone know of a feature within Workfront that allows this? I suggested generating a Proof without adding approvers and reviewers and using the Microsoft OneDrive and SharePoint integrations, but these weren't accepted solutions.
We are looking to automate the submission of sales order (issue) requests which ultimately become projects. There is a lot of user data connected to the sales order request. Should we be looking to use Kickstart, Fusion or both? Workfront Fusion SMEs (@ewanh or @AndyHess)
Anybody processing and approving time off requests and have the approved time off surface in the workload balancer?
We have task reports that our users use (filtered for $$USER.ID) to find their work. We would like to surface those tasks that are a users priority (as set by the user). ➤ Is there a way to show which tasks have been added to my priority within a TASK REPORT ?
Description - We utilize dashboards to surface peoples work and have task reports that our users use (filtered for $$USER.ID) to find their work. We would like to surface those tasks that are a users priority (as set by the user) in the Task report but this is not currently possible. Why is this feature important to you - This allow users to see their priority items from the dashboard/reports they work in without having to switch screens to see what they had previously identified as their priority. The task "priority" field would not work since that can be changed by others. How would you like the feature to work - The "My Priority" field would be accessible on task reports (and issue reports?). You should be able to add the field as a column and use the field for filtering with wildcards ($$USER.ID)Current Behaviour - "My Priority" is only available in the home/worklist making its usefulness limited. ➤ TLDR I need to be able to show tasks that have been&nb
Based off the demo from Summit - where they demo'd the Campaign module and the ability to kickoff multiple request queues and projects from one form - is this Fusion that is enabling this OR is this the new Campaign module?
I'm trying to create a scenario that rejects a timesheet with hours marked on projects that are set to not mark time against them. I am rejecting the timesheets and sending a message to them but it send a message for each timesheet entry. When I try and aggregate to get one record per timesheet, It doesn't work because the timesheet ID is on multiple operations. My aggregation is with in an operation. Is there a way to aggregate across operations?
By default allocation of planned hours is split equally amongst all assignments across the duration of a task. If the dates shift so will the hours. When we look at the Workload Balancer you're able to see that specific allocation. You're also able to modify the hours either within the WLB or by using the advanced assignments functionality. The issue we have recognized is one of our teams reallocates these hours in the WLB more specifically so instead of the automatic division they want to be able to say Assignment #1 is planned to work 1 hour and Assignment #2 is planned to work 3 hours. When they make that change it will hold the allocation the way we've allocated it in the WLB so then if the dates of the task shift then the allocation will stay in the order we've changed it which can sometimes mean hours are going onto a weekend. We'd love an option to turn off the fact that once hours are manually edited the automatic division of hours is ignored or even if it is ignored
Is there any method to have a pop up or something visible when a notification comes in? Sometimes the notifications pile up and no one is noticing them. Sort of like when you receive emails you can have a setting where a pop up on the top left of screen appears. Thanks
Description - Current state allows for PORTFOLIO/PROGRAM/PROJECT- My need is for there to be at least 4 levels of taxonomy. For example Department/Year/Season/Tactic/Specific/ProjectWhy is this feature important to you - Organization is key. Having to sort through long lists of non-related projects is not helpful. "filters" are annoying. How would you like the feature to work - Create more levels of taxonomy.Current Behaviour -
Description -The new Board functionality is great..However as a manager I would love to be able to pull in projects vs requests and have it function/look the same way vs. tasks or issues or request. How would you like the feature to work -You only allow Tasks or issues to be imported. It wouldn't need to be extravagant:Import Project name or by Team or by UserColumn: IntakeColumn: In progressColumn: Complete
Dear All, I have report that sums up notes made over time and would like to see it sum up by Owner Home Team Name. Home Team ID is the only option available for grouping. Does anyone know if this is possible? Obviously Id like the simple chart to work with text mode Team Name Grouping. Kind regards, Lukasz
Hi All, I'm attempting to build a timesheets report that displays hours entered exactly how the timesheets look (with days of the week represented as columns). I'm trying to create a report that displays like this, but for all users that are assigned timesheets.
Hi WF Community, Not thinking this is doable based on current functionality in Workfront's reporting engine, but thought I'd pose the question here in case someone has found a creative way of doing so: Create a baseline report with a trend line chart that maps the baseline Duration (days) based on Entry Date of the baselines being createdCheers,Nick
I had a user today try to change his personal email notifications from SETUP email notifications, not from his profile, and thankfully he got an error. I checked his layout template's main menu options to ensure Setup wasn't there, and it's not even an option to keep/remove like the other main menu options. Please add 'Setup' as an option to keep/remove from layout templates. Even though users may not be able to access many items within there, it is clutter to have it show as an option in the first place. I'd also like Proofing to be able to be removed. Please upvote!
Hi, I have a scenario in Fusion and several times it stops with error message as "[422] category cannot be null"". I am unable to find the reason for it. @ewanh @AndyHes - would you be able to help please? Thanks,Jainesh
Has anyone come up with a good way to edit/update project notes? When there is a typo, we have to delete and add another note.
Can a request be set to "ready-only" after a submission so that the submitter cannot go back into the request form and change information?
Is it possible to do this to automatically pull in the active portfolios and programs, without manually listing them as answers to the question? If programs and portfolios change, I would want this to be automatically updated in the custom field. Thanks!
I got the following error when trying to export project data into a report:Error500: The following error occurred: java.nio.file.FileSystemException: /attaskDocHome/temp/c6364e9265c64a40a019f9abce2b6d16: No space left on device /attask/api-internal/report/export the project got very large, i just moved ~3000 tasks to an archive project, maybe will need system to catch up?Also, i am system admin, but dont know how to be able to actually log a ticket, sounds like i need to enable some permissions.thanks for any advice.
Currently, you can remove any pre-attached custom forms or add more custom forms during the project creation step. I would like to see this same functionality to the attach a template process. We have built our template with a "deconstructive" approach and that includes multiple custom forms with the user instructed to remove any forms not needed. We would like to be able to have them do that during the attachment process and not have to remember to go back to remove those forms after the fact.
Ability to export items on the "Request" view into excel or PDF, like we are on the "Projects" and "Portfolio" views.
Hi all, looking for help writing the text mode for a column on a project report that displays the non-primary assignment on a templateTask within our project templates. If it's not possible to display just the non-primary assignment, I would also be okay with displaying both assignments (but I can only figure out how show the primary right now). I feel like there's something like assignmentUsersMM...but I can't figure out how to use it in this scenario. Previously, on a task report where the report itself was filtered down to the specific templateTask name, here's what I've used: displayname=Non-primary assignments listdelimiter=<p> listmethod=nested(assignments).lists textmode=true type=iterate valueexpression=IF({isPrimary}=false,CONCAT({assignedTo}.{name})) valueformat=HTML How can I translate this into a collection/valueexpression column on a project report? Note, I need this to be on a project report specifically so that the viewers can edit project
