I have a scenario where we want to watch an email box for requests incoming and convert them to a project in workfront. I have the watch email box part figured out and can create a project after the email has triggered the scenario. I'm stuck on getting the email that triggered the flow attached to the newly created project. How can I do that?

Good afternoon, Does anyone know of a way that we can update a requests Queue Topic after it is submitted? We have a queue that has 2 Topics Groups and 10 Queue Topics, and even with a description of what each is for as a hover option we have requests being submitted to the wrong ones. Is there a ways for either the Project owner of where the queue is housed or others who have manage access to the queue can change those to fall within the correct ones? Thank you,Kristina

I have an issue report and it has a column for the "Date Needed By" custom field on it. I do not want users to be able to change that field from within this report. I added the text isinlineeditable=false but it still allows me to edit it from the report. Is there any way to accomplish this?

Hello Community, I also put this on the Job Board, but I wanted to put it here as well! Deloitte is looking to add to our Workfront team, and we are looking to add this person quick! Take a look at the link if interested, which will provide more answers: https://one.workfront.com/s/question/0D54X00006pmuhKSAQ/deloitte-job-opening-adminmarketing-technology-specialist Pass along as well! It is a work from home (if you want, you will be able to go to an office if local to one), and is for anywhere in the US. Thanks!Tim

Regarding the Workload Balancer: Can you vote for this?https://one.workfront.com/s/idea/0874X000000oOK7QAM/detail This is regarding aligning task colors of the same project like the scheduler! If I am looking at task assignments in the Workload Balancer, I would like to quickly identify other tasks in the same project by locating the same color. At a glance, this will help identify resource assignments.

Hey - this is from another discussion on saw on here, but I'd like to start a new train of thoughts. Some users are having much slower page load times when transitioning from Classic to NWE. Tickets have been submitted, yadda yadda, but I'm hoping we can use this thread to maybe come up with some common thing that causes slower loading times for some, but acceptable page load times like what I experience. But I will need help/input from people with slow load times, and acceptable load times. First, let's start with a list of things we should consider looking at. I'm going to throw a few out there, but please chime in with anything else you all think we should compare. I'm sure there are many of you out there that have a lot more IT/back end experience than I do! Computer - Mac or PCInternet provider?Do you use VPN?Do you use SSO?Where do you notice the slowest page load times?Where do you notice the fastest page load times? What is your system storage quota, and how

In the new experience there are 2 pre-populated very prominent buttons for Projects I'm On and Projects I Own. They include closed projects which makes the list ridiculously long and impossible to use. Is there any way to customize this? It's confusing everyone and a big waste of important real estate.

I have downloaded the XD plugin for Workfront. There are a couple of fundamental bits that don't seem to workI am wondering if i'm doing something wrong or if these are to be implemented into the plugin 1) On creating a proof from within the plugin, i am able to select a proof workflow template, but i am unable to add people in to a stage on my templateWe basically have a sign-off 1 & 2 that constantly changes, dependent on brand & Channel. I can select the template ok but have no option to add people in to a stagemeaning that i cant use workflow templates 2) Can I create a proof using a URL Any help or advice is much appreciatedMany thanks Dan

If still pending a response, we would like to create a custom email notification for executives to remind them to cast their decision on a task two days after their approval stage has kicked off. Is there a way to do that?

Did you know that Users and Sys Admins can not only create their own filters, views and groupings, but share them with their teams? Users can create and share their own filters, views and groupings, or system administrators can share custom filters, views, and groupings that are relevant to their organization’s workflows and processes through the list controls on layout templates. Learn how to create and share filters, views and groupings here. System administrators can also make relevant filters, views and groups easier to find for end-users by updating the list controls in layout templates to hide unneeded filters, views, and groupings for commonly used objects (projects, tasks, programs, etc.). Learn how to customize filters, views and groupings using a layout template here. Want to learn more about reporting and dashboard best practices? There used to be an incredibly helpful tool for us under Setup > Audit Logs that pulled an automatic last log in report for all users. It was a quick report button that showed name, date of last log in, and success/failure of log in. My co-administrator and I frequently used it to determine which teams were no longer using WF, or which users had left our organization without updating us to remove them from the system. That report appears to be gone or has moved. We've tried to recreate it, with little success. Can anyone point us in the right direction of where it may be located, or how to build a report that pulls just the last log in date by user? Thanks!

When submitting a request a user can select a project that the request is related to. The request has the same custom form on it as the project that is being referenced. Is there a way for the information on the custom form to automatically import into the request so that the requester does not have to fill in all the details again? I thought about trying to use Fusion but this wouldn't populate the information on screen for the requester. Any suggestions would be most appreciated

I'm looking for a report that will show me when users are going rogue and unnassigning themselves from a task they've been assigned by a PM and then reassigning that task to another (equal) member of their team. in the task updates (system updates) it will look like this: [User A] requested that [User B] work on this Aug 5, 2021 11:20 am [User A] unassigned [User A] Aug 5, 2021 11:20 am I understand I can lock down the tasks so people cannot reassign them, but sometimes it is warranted and legitimate.... Reasons this is a problem:Inefficient -- This turns into a game of "hot potato"... Users keep reassigning stuff, and we lose days of no work being done. PM team spends a lot of time balancing the workload/deadlines.Abuse -- Some users will agree to taking on more work then they can actually handle, while other users are "coasting" by. Besides being unfair, the overload increases the changes of errors in the work. Lost time -- What I need is a report tha

Hello WF Gurus I have a task report that we have configured to work as a status report for a dept. The assigned users can update their task % complete, update durations if needed, add inline comments to the particular task (custom task field), update a custom status inline (custom task status). I also want to include adding hours (tracking time) to that task via in line editing. Is that possible - i want to avoid pushing them to the actual task on the project - clicking in the updates tab and then adding time or navigating to the timesheet. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

I have a feature request for New Experience, a permanent link to "Switch to Classic Workfront" in the "waffle". How would I go about submitting this to the Innovation Lab?

Within the Marketing team, we have several different teams that handle different types of materials - Advertising team, Member team, etc. I report on each teams stats from a monthly, quarterly and yearly perspective. There are some instances when someone from the Member team moves to the Advertising team and that messes with the reports because the reports are filtered by Project Owner. Ex: Jane moved from the Member team to the Advertising team on 8/17. When I move her to the Advertising team, all the Advertising reports will include the projects Jane completed when she was on the Member team as well and they will not show up on the Member report. I figured the best way to prevent this issue would be to assign each project to a subgroup based on the owner. But I am struggling to find a way to have the subgroup automatically added to the project based on the owner of the project. All the teams share the same templates so I wouldn't be able to use that option. I know there would be

Simplifying navigation is a key component of driving adoption of work management and systems. Make it easy for your organization's leaders to see critical information by updating their Adobe Workfront landing page to a dashboard that contains the data that they're interested in. You can update a landing page to be a dashboard in the new Workfront experience by following these steps: 1. Create an executive dashboard with the reports and information that your leaders need to see 2. Navigate to Setup > Interface > Layout Templates > edit the Layout Template assigned to the leader(s) 3. In the Top Navigation area, click Select landing page and click Add a Dashboard which is located at the bottom of the list of options 4. Add a custom name for the dashboard, then search for and select the executive dashboard that you created in the Add a Dashboard field 5. Click Add and save the Layout Template The leaders assigned to this Layout Template will now land on the selected dashb

I recently had to create a copy of a custom report and then only keep specific fields on the copy. There are 499 fields in the report and I only needed to keep 75 of them. In order for me to do this I have to make a copy of the report and then delete all the fields I don't need one by one (over four hundred). The other solution is to add the fields manually. I would just like to drag and drop each field I need from one report to the new one.

We'd like to share final documents (not proofs) with external Workfront users. Is it mandatory to add those recipients to our external user list first? And if I add external users, it looks like they get a proof when I share vs. a document. Any advice of how your company handles this is appreciated!

There would be one task per assignee per deliverable. For example: Direct Mail PostcardCopywriter, Designer, Proofer, Account Manager each would have one task per assignee for the entire duration of the project. The duration and planned hours would be adjusted by the account manager as needed. There are no rounds or iterations.

Hi,We have a use case where we would like to create multi-page proofs with documents that are already in WF. I can create a single document proof from within Workfront using an exsisting file but don't get a "Create Proof" option when I multi-select files. I can upload multiple files if we create the proof from within the WF Proof application but we would prefer to use the files that are already in WF because the files are uploaded in an earlier step than the proofing and are used for multiple purposes. Am I missing an option somewhere or is it not possible to do a multi-file proof from within WF?Thanks!!
