Adobe Workfront General

If you have accidentally deleted a Project along with a couple of years worth of tasks, comments and documents you should be able to restore it and have all the information back - including documents, custom forms, expenses, update streams, hours etc.

I need to be able to send a welcome email to new users and force SAML 2.0. Currently, if I select to send a welcome email it sends them the wrong link and information.

When you assign a group or job role to a timesheet it immediately breaks out that assignment to the user level. Anyone being added to the group is not also assigned the timesheet. Very annoying! please fix

It was brought to our attention that having the headers and project information fixed on the Project View page and allowing the scrolling to only function within the task list itself limits the number of tasks viewable on screen for users. This could have a large impact with users who are already using a smaller screen. At the very least having this as an option to switch between in Layout templates could benifit users on a per case basis.

give Group Admins the ability to be able to add people to the system.

It would be really great if you could dynamically adjust a report send to list based on who would actually see something in a report, that was pre-filted to just that user.

When QCing emails in the proofing tool our unsubscribe link as the recipient email included in the URL. The proofing tool currently adds mailto: in front of any url that contains an email address. This doesn't make sense because it makes links that are built correctly appear broken and could potentially show things as linked that aren't. Seems like a design flaw to make any changes to assets in the proofing tool as these won't be reflected in the actual files.

If you use interface layout templates terminology to globally replace the terms Portfolio and Project, this does not reflect in the 'Edit Project' form that appears when you edit a project or convert a request to a project. The navigation pane still has 'Portfolio' as the section heading, and the drop downs are still listed 'Portfolio' first and then 'Program'. This is confusing for new users. All instances of the 'Edit Project' dialog box should use the terminology specified in the current user's interface layout template.

When creating a new proof on a Task, the current UI only shows the Task name. It would be nice to be able to see the Project that Task resides on.

Allow navigation to Project the Proof is created within. If the user has permission to see the Project the Proof is created within, then allow the user to navigate to the Project the Proof they are reviewing is created from. Currently, a user can navigate to the Proof from the Project document folder. Also allow a user to navigate to the Project the Proof is created within.

This post has been closed as a duplicate. All votes have been moved to the original: Archive Programs,Portfolios, Etc. We've been using the system for a long time so we have forms and such from old processes. It would be nice to archive them so that you don't loose the data associated with them, but also don't have to see them in your production environment.

It would be tremendously helpful if Workfront could develop reporting so that we could report a “project on a page”, where each project is followed by its related tasks and issues. Currently, Reporting allows for the reporting of projects, tasks, and issues separately, but not all under the umbrella of the associated project. We have had to implement and configure Tableau to give us this reporting capability, and even at that it is sub-optimal. Also, when we report projects under the grouping of the associated program or portfolio, Workfront does not allow the control of page breaking. Often the page will break right after the grouping header, so the projects appear on the following page without the related grouping header. See the attached screenshot.

Our team would like there to be an easier way to click through all locations that 1 comment is associated with. It is difficult to follow the line, zoom in to 1 location, then zoom back out find the next line and zoom into that next location, etc. Sounds like a non-issue, except for when you have 50 comments and 1 is associated with 7 different locations. Thanks!!

So in the previous My Work you could filter on specific type of approval e.g. project, task, issue etc. All that is available in the current Home is just to show "Approvals" as a single group. We have approvals on our project statuses and because a project being 'pending approval' can affect things elsewhere in the project (e.g. an inability to click "approve" on tasks/issues), this type of approval is always higher priority compared to, say, issue approvals. But in Home I can't filter on just these specific approvals - I just have to manually scroll down and look for the 'PROJECT' badge. I now have angry Project Managers who want (and genuinely need) their projects approving ASAP!

It would be beneficial to our organisation if the Project Sponsor field was made mandatory to ensure the name is always captured when a Project is created

Let me just press enter to quickly run a report where I don't need to change the prompts

I want the ability to upload a document to a task, project or issue without leaving HOME.

I want to be able to drag&drop a document from an email provider (outlook) into Workfront, I also want to be able to drag&drop a document onto a Workfront object (Project, Task, Issue, Update Stream, etc.)

In the stand alone Proof HQ site, we are able to copy a version of a proof. We can manage the comments, write them clearly for the designers and send it to this team to work on it. In the Workfront proof page of a project, we can not copy the proof. This means we have deactivated the notification for the people involved and or to re-write the comments and every body is receiving notice that we are doing so. Copying a proof was an important functionality for us in the stand alon Proof HQ site. I think it would be usefull to add it to Workfront proof. Thanks

Would like the ability to have "aside" conversations in comments on a specific request/issue within our team without the requester being notified or seeing the conversation. We often have things to discuss among our internal team but don't want the requester to see these comments.

We need an option to print only specific pages from the print summary. Especially for those files which have been combined into one proof. For example, say we have a circular ad and page 1 has 12 market versions all combined into one proof as 12 separate PDFs, but we need to specifically print the versions for markets in the southeast and northeast only - which might just be version 2 and 7) we would like to be able to filter out to only print those two pages and their comments instead of having to print all the versions out then only keep those two, or to export to PDF and then clip specifics from those files.

It would be great if there were a Help Chat solution built into Workfront. The idea would be that someone could chat live with a Workfront admin when they get stuck using Workfront. It' similar to a live chat function that might be found on shopping websites.

When multiple files are combined into one single proof, the file names display on the thumbnails (i.e. Hunt_Tab_FLMarket shows under first thumbnail, Hunt_Tab_ALMarket shows under second, etc.); however, when the print summary is opening, it reverts to "Page 1" "Page 2" instead of the name of the thumbnails. Could we please get it to show the file names? If it just shows the page numbers, it gets confusing in the print summary to know which version is which market since the different names of the versions are not retained.

Functionality to archive or deactivate teams you no longer use

In Event Notifications, I would love to be able to adjust what the default body copy of the email says. For example, if I put in a Request and the "issue" gets rejected for some reason, I would like to be able to adjust the copy to give a little more direction to the requestor. Perhaps: XX changed the status of this issue to: REJECTED - please call XX at ext. 7868 with questions or concerns. Thanks
