Adobe Workfront General

Hi all, I'm new to Workfront and am gradually moving all my current manual working processes into the tool. I am in charge of helping different teams upload YouTube videos into a channel, and currently collect these requests via a Google Sheet which gets very cluttered after a while. Am looking into porting it over the Workfront, but I'm not sure which way is best.Is there a template that could work for me using Projects? I considered using Requests but I imagine it can get tedious if teams have requests for bulk uploads of the same video with the same titles and descriptions but just in different sizes. Anyone has experience with this?

Has anyone integrated Workfront with Bynder using Workfront's custom integration subtab under the Documents subtab? You're able to add a document integration using a Base API URL and API Key. We've tried doing this with Bynder, but get a "Server Error".

I am relatively new to the PM role at my organization. One of the tasks my manager would like to tackle in the near future is to create a Governance document. This would be the place of all PM truth. Not only do I envision it holding all the important information about workfront and how our team uses it, training, tracking time, license types, etc. but it would also give a breakdown of our resource allocation process in terms of “rules of engagement,” when it comes to how we accept projects, how we say no, the metrics we use to base that decision on - clear cut guidelines that are standard across the board, triggers that indicate that we need to outsource, etc. If this, then that. Do any of your organizations currently use that sort of documentation or have resources you can share that might help me get started in creating one for mine? I have yet to find anything even within Workfront documentation to truly cover that side of my goal and I'm not sure where to begin. 

As a follow up to this morning's system admin essentials I am loading the templates I have readily available. When my system admin is back from vacation she will load any others we have. We will also have an updated version of the system admin version with time estimates when my new hire finishes the training and we will update at that time!

Has anyone else had issues with projects incorrectly showing a progress of 100%? When you open the project, there are tasks at 0%, but the overall project still is auto-calculating to 100%. Any ideas on the cause or a solve?

Hello Adobe Workfront Community,   Jon here. As many of you may have noticed, the Ideas space on the Community site saw a dramatic change last year following our switch over to the current Community platform. Many of these updates reflect platform enhancements that change how users vote for and view top ideas. Though some of these updates may not have been ideal, they were a necessary part of switching Community platforms to better align with the Experience League Communities. We understand that the Ideas board is an invaluable space for Workfront customers to interface directly with their peers and the Workfront Product Management team.   Over the past few weeks, I have been working closely with internal stakeholders to rethink how we can continue to make Workfront Community Ideas a meaningful public space for product suggestions and improvements.   The new updates aim to optimize how our Product team sifts through Community ideas moving forward, sets a simplified proce

Have you ever deleted a parent task within a project thinking that just this one task would be deleted, but in reality all the associated child tasks were also removed? Or accidentally deleted a project template or custom form that you thought was never being used? Did you know that Workfront has a recycle bin that allows you to restore projects, tasks, issues, documents and templates that have been deleted within the last 30 days? Objects like reports, dashboards and groups cannot be restored from the recycle bin since they can be recreated. Restoring custom forms will require the help of the Workfront Database team. If you delete a group or report and immediately realize it needs to be restored, go into the Preview Sandbox. To learn how to access the Preview Sandbox, click into a previous blog post here. Since the Preview Sandbox is one week behind, if the group or report was created more than a week ago, it will still exist in that testing environment.
