I would like to see emojis be removed from areas in the new Workfront experience.There really is no reason these need to be a part of the user experience.For instance when I have no notifications there's no reason for me to see a smily face or celebratory bunch of ribbons etc.These small things take away from the professional nature of the tool and look gimmicky and do not fit in with the product.Allowing their use within comments is fine, but not as part of the UX.

When I am sending creative for approval, it would be ideal for related custom forms data to be accessible to reviewers within the proof, that way proof related data can be easily accessible to them to help in making an approval decision without needing to navigate through other pages to reference this information.

I have many activations that are for a series of things - from POVs to podcasts. Each parent task and sub task is renamed to match each POV and/or episode.While I strive to have "final" titles/names before I build - sometimes after building and resourcing the names of the deliverable change. This means I now have to go into each task and subtask and change the name. This work is tedious but needed so the assigned team members clearly know what they are working on/when.My suggestion/wish is for a "Find and replace" option within WF. So I could tell it what to update, and via an automated process behind the curtain, it was done. THIS would be a game changer and remove an "ugh project" from the to do lists of many in PM.

It would be great to be able to tie an email reminder notification to issues/requests at a template level. Something I would imagine is setting up email reminders to be sent to the requester/assignee a few days before the request is due. It can be done at a task level, but not an issue level.

After using WF for almost a year I now realize our custom forms could use some updating. But I don't want to lose or change any info on existing projects either in progress or completed. I only want to affect new projects/requests.It would be great if when I make a change to a custom form to be given the option to have the change affect all projects/requests or only those moving forward. This was a great option on other PM tools I've used before.Thanks!

We want the ability to see at least a year-long view of what our resources are scheduled on since many projects have longer durations. It would help to staff new projects, as well as give us a picture of our overall year and where projects are slated to start and end.This view is critical for advertising agencies, as much of our planning with clients runs for a year or more.

Currently if you create a 2x2 matrix report you only get a single row total and column total for the lowest level of detail. It would be nice to have the totals display for the highest level as well (similar to pivot table in excel).

It would be extremely beneficial to have more robust system logs for hours logging / timesheet edits.If a user logs time currently - the system logs show that they logged time to their timesheet for xx day and how many hours they logged. BUT it doesn't show the date that they actually logged that time.In order to ensure that users aren't retroactively modifying hours, when a user logs time - we should be able to review:Day / Date / Timestamp of when they logged the hour(s)to what object they logged the hour(s)if there was an edit to the logged hour(s) we should captureday / date / timestamp of when the hour(s) were editedon what object they were editedwhat they were edited from --> tothis information should live on the timesheet itself, and be tied to the user object.This information should display on the timesheet regardless of whether the time was logged / edited at the issue / task / project / program level or on the timesheet specifically

The ability to click a link and access an internal organization file system path would be extremely useful to our organization. Not all documents we want to reference in a project are on Sharepoint (or another URL based source). Currently we include file paths, but you have to copy and paste rather than simply clicking them.

When copying over existing projects, give the option (where currently clear assignments, clear predecessors, etc) to also default the task constraints of the tasks to "as soon as possible"

Currently when bringing in a MS Project plan to Workfront you can only do it as a New Project. However, what if you have an existing project and you want to add an MS Project Plan you have and it's tasks into it. Wouldn't it be nice to be able to important that - just like adding another template to an existing project which you can do. Now maybe it won't come in perfectly - true, but you could give the user a warning that those items would come in that way and maybe having it auto load to the end of the existing project so it doesn't hurt any of the existing tasks in the project. We have had some involuntary dismissals and users can still look up deactivated users. It's very unprofessional and punitive looking when there's a big red "DEACTIVATED" stamp that looks like a "REJECTED" stamp. I would be preferable and more professional looking if it was either downplayed or removed altogether. An option to have it removable would be great.

Real Pain Point - pls direct me to anyone that has raised this - Bulk Editing a Custom Form on an objectUsercase - I want to bulk edit and add a custom form to an object.Problem - I can't filter to only the objects missing that custom form, if there is more than one custom form attached - I need to create a column for Categories>>ID and then manually select and edit the objects in that list - with 000's of objects this is very time consuming...Problem - I can't just select ALL and re-add the custom form, as if the custom form appears on some of the objects and not all, then the custom form does not appear in the list - this makes sense where there is data in the custom form that matters if is is overwritten - but, I want to do this for a calculated field only custom form and therefore, it won't impact any of the data if it is re-added and re-calculated.

I see in Preview that auto-collapsed groupings are coming soon. While I understand the need for the feature, not giving the ability to users to choose between auto-collapse and auto-open is very limiting and will negatively impact the dashboards I have set up for our business users. All of our dashboarding is going to have to be re-worked if we're forced to auto-collapse only. Is there some way to have an option to pick between auto collapsed and not auto collapsed?

We have a client that wants to be able to share portfolios with their plan users, but does not want them to see this data at the top of the view. Suggesting a feature that allows admins to control this view in layout templates.

Would like the ability when sending proof HQ email notifications to include what PROJECT or TASK the document (PROOF) has been added to so the user knows what the proof notification is in relation to.

Currently, without significant text edits, there is no way to change the way a date is displayed. By default dates are MM/DD/YY. Sometimes a user is behind on managing their project. If the project is ready to close they should not have to close all tasks. Instead, create a system level option to allow users to close all tasks by closing project. If this setting is turned on, when users try to close a project that has open tasks they would be asked: "This Project has open tasks. Would you like to complete all tasks and complete the project?" then they click either "Yes - complete all tasks and complete Project" or "No - do not complete tasks". This setting would also need to understand and flag for approvals blocking closure: "This project has outstanding approvals that must be completed before the project can be completed". Ideally the tasks and/or issues with approvals outstanding would then be listed with links.

We need the ability for finance to move one hour or numerous hours, that has been logged by users from one project / task to another project / task. One would have a screen and mark off the hours that that needed to be moved by user. One would need to enter a reason for the move. Then you choose the project to transfer it to and the system then needs o calculate the total amount of hrs and revenue lost on the current project vs the new revenue gained on the new project by the transfer. There would need to be a request process and approver functionality for a financial controller to approve the change We would also need an audit report that details: the move details, requestor and approver. Date and time of the request versus the date time the approver approved the hr transfer.

Please change the names of the conditions. At Risk and In Trouble really can cause a lot of concern and would like to see some names change such as "At Risk" to something less concerning such as Review needed, etc.

When I setup a proof. It would be nice if I could pre-load the stage review users so that the proof sending can be automated once the document is uploaded

When communicating about a project under the "UPDATES" tab, it would be helpful to have a feature that allows us to include an image as part of the conversation.

User-generated idea: be able to multi-select tasks and have a quick-access done option available, all at the project view

This is especially useful when commenting on multiple projects using the bulk edit option. Sometimes I want to send out the same comment for projects with different Project Owners but don't necessarily know who the Project Owners are. E.g. it would be useful to use a Wild Card, such as $$PROJECT.OWNER.
