Calling all Workfront Admins!Have you enabled Boards in a Layout Template for your End Users?Whether the answer is YES or NO, would you be open to a quick, 30-minute chat?I'm part of a team that creates programs that help customers better adopt and use Workfront, and my next big project is understanding how Admins are rolling out Boards to their End Users. If you HAVE enabled Boards, I’d love to know how it’s going. And if you haven’t enabled it yet, I’d love to better understand your timeline and/or concerns. This is a judgement free zone! I’m just here for the insights.(For anyone who has seen the Inherited Instance Checklist or our Communications Cookbook, those were both 100% built from feedback gleaned in interviews just like this!)You can see my availability and book time with me directly here. Hello Community!   I'm a UX designer with Workfront. I'd like some eyes on a flow that I am working on and would appreciate any/all feedback that you may have. The prototype should take about 10 minutes of your time: https://t.maze.co/135875982   This is a clickable prototype (no working code) so there may be some areas you click on that do nothing. Feel free to take note of these areas in the feedback section of this usability test (a test of the product, not of you).    If you have any questions after the test, please email me at edenwen@adobe.com in order to maintain the integrity of the test.    Thank you! It happens to every system or group admin: one of your users is leaving the company, taking on a new role, or needs to switch groups. How do you find everything they own or are working on in Workfront so you can transfer ownership of their objects or reassign their work? Well, we’ve built a dashboard for this purpose! Released as a blueprint, this dashboard contains 13 reports to help you find, reassign, or otherwise manage the objects and assignments associated with a user departing your purview of Workfront. A few things to note:  The reports on the dashboard have been built to support the needs of a wide audience and it’s likely that you will need to change filters, views, and groupings on some reports to better meet your organization’s needs.  You may not need all the reports, so feel free to remove them.  All reports have tags in their descriptions for searchability: #offboarding Please note that for active project, task, and issue appr

Good news for those familiar with our very popular Reporting Cookbook - we’re cooking up a new one! What’s a Workfront “Cookbook” you ask? It’s a collection of snackable, easily digestible, examples on different topics that you can take and test out in your own Workfront kitchen. This time we’re cooking up ideas for how Workfront System Admins communicate with their end users (think, how to share new features with users, or tips & tricks, or how to ask for feedback, etc.).There’s no “one size fits all” when it comes to communications. Some Admins communicate regularly, some only communicate when there are major changes. Some Admins communicate directly with end users, others communicate through Group Admins or SMEs. The Communications Cookbook will showcase real examples of how, when and why your peers are communicating with users. (We’ll sprinkle in some best practices along the way.)In order for this cookbook to become a family heirloom, we need YOUR examples by the end of May&nbsp

Calling all Workfront Admins!   Do you have a strategy for HOW and WHAT you communicate to your end users about Workfront? Anything from letting them know about new functionality, about updates to workflows, new training, tips & tricks, etc.? If so, would you be open to a quick, 30-minute chat? I'm part of a team that creates programs that help customers better adopt and use Workfront, and my next big project is creating a set of communication templates to help Admins as they communicate with their users. As of March 2, 2023, Workfront offers a new and improved way to calculate a user’s capacity using the Work Time field that will enable you to see the true availability of your global teams based on region-specific schedules.  Up until now, if you wanted to adjust the amount of time a user had each day to work on project work, you had to adjust the FTE (Full Time Equivalent) value.  This presented an obstacle when the User schedule was used versus the Default schedule to calculate resource availability because in this case the FTE value was ignored.     Now, with the new Work Time field located in the user profile, you can adjust capacity and still have resource availability calculated using the User’s schedule. The available hours in the Resource Planner and Workload Balancer will reference the user’s schedule and reflect availability based on the Work Time value entered.    The Work Time field is adjusted by entering a decimal value between 0 and 1.&

Hello! I'm Elissa, the UX/Product Researcher for Workfront. I'm trying to recruit customers who heavily use Requester licenses (which will soon be called "Contributor" licenses), because we specifically want to talk to requesters and learn how they manage their work today and how they use Workfront. So, if you use Requester licenses and would be willing to connect us to someone in your organization who actually requests work, we would be super appreciative! Here's a link to the study to sign up for a session if you know someone who's interested: Requester License Discovery  Please let me know if you have any questions or need me to open up additional time slots! @jessicashayanpm

Hi Everyone, Exciting news! We have a new UX team at Workfront dedicated to improving the connection of the platform to itself, and I'm helping with the team's first initiative. We are interested in talking to people in marketing organizations about the way you hand work from one person to another during a campaign. At Workfront we feel like we understand what our customers need once they're in each area of our product, but we do not feel as though we really understand how the handoffs happen. If you're interested in speaking to me and the new UX Platform Architect, Dan, please sign up using this link: https://calendly.com/wf-product-and-design-research/marketing-work-orchestrationPlease note that we may need to schedule a follow-up session depending on how much we get through in your first sign-up. Additionally, if you know of any other team members within your marketing organization who you think would be great for us to speak to, please let us know! Tha

The System Admin Maintenance Dashboard is the new release of the Workfront Cleanup Dashboard and it’s now available in Blueprints. It is purpose-built to optimize one of the Adobe Workfront System Administrators’ necessary but tedious jobs: cleaning up.     A few things to note:   The reports on the dashboard have been built to support the needs of a wide audience and it’s likely that you will need to change report settings and configuration to better meet your organization’s specific needs. This is especially the case when it comes to filtering on status or date/time. In some cases, where you’d expect to see a status-based filter, we may have omitted them entirely.   You may not need all the reports in your environment, so feel free to remove them.  Finally, we recommend making copies of these reports before editing in case you want to go back to the original report.    Learn how to install this dashboard from Blueprints    Reports I

Thank you all who allocated time to take the survey posted below. Since we didn't have a clear winner as a result of the first survey, we would like to do a second round of with only 2 versions. We have also considered the feedback you have provided about the survey itself. We would really appreciate if you pass this survey as well.    ***Earlier post*** We are currently making some changes on how we display system updates in Workfront update stream and we would really like to get your feedback on some of the UI changes we consider doing. In this 3 minute survey you will see slightly differing versions of UI for the system updates (activity) and will need to choose the one you think is the best.   Thank you in advance for your time!   Anna Asatryan, Product Manager, Adobe Workfront.
