Adobe Workfront General

Currently, if you build a report to check planned hours through a bar chart, they will be showing all grouped on the dates that the task was created - which is not realistic at all. This means that planned hours showing in the chart are a reflection of the total of planned hours of the tasks created that week (if you set to see by week). So if you have a task with one year duration and hundreds of planned hours, for example, you should see them distributed over the course of the task duration instead of see a giant bar in your chart on the week you created the task.

Zoom:"un-sync" the proof version views: When you click on an old comment, the zoom on the new proof changes, which complicates the reviewing processOpening Multiple Proofs at One TimeWe create multiple proofs per project. It would be helpful to be able to open them all at the same time in different tabs.Deleting Versions:Would like the capability to delete a version of a proof without deleting the entire proof.

I understand that there have ben changes in Workfront recently that relate to this suggestiuon, but I am unclear what the current status of this feature should be.At the moment, when a new proof version is created, all the roles from the previous proof are copied across. Workfront Support advise that this is the designed process; nothing to fix.I suspect that this feature works for some businesses and not for others. Rather than having 'one or the other' why not build in an 'option' within 'WF Proof > Account Settings', such that each business can choose whether they want the roles to be maintained, or not.Our business routinely uses the following process… Proof Version 1 1. Designers create proof and add Moderator2. Moderator reviews proof to determine decisiona. If no additional decision maker is required, then Moderator simply applies their decisionb. If Moderator is happy with proof, but additional decision makers are required, then Mo

You know how you can include a message on Proofs? But then it sticks with the proof throughout it's lifespan unless you select 'discard custom message'? I would like to suggest that those custom messages only send the first time. It causes confusion when a proof owner adds a message on the first version that is only applicable to that version, and then it carries through on version #2 because they forgot to take it off.

Currently we can filter by Team User, but would be great to be able to filter by Assignment and Projects and some other options as well. This request comes from lots of our planner users.

The Pinbar makes it far too easy to Unpin or move your pinbar items inadvertently. There needs to be a "Lock Pinbar/Unlock Pinbar" toggle to allow more confidence and usability of this feature. Thanks!Steve

Would like to see if you could tie a workfront proof to a task? Can they be connected/linked together somehow? Example: if proof is approved by a user, the task I have created for them was to review the proof, could the approval in the proof automatically close the task they were assigned to?

I want to submit a proof via PHQ and select a workflow that is sent to a team where only one decision is required. This goes to my Editorial team, so just one person needs to make a decision. On its own, this works perfectly. I want to add add'l users as reviewer/approvers too. After i select the chosen workflow, i CAN add more users to the proof (i.e A designer) and CAN select reviewer and approver, but once someone from the Editorial team makes a decision, it makes the designer's decision 'not relevant.' I want to get a decision from the Editorial workflow and a decision from other users added to the proof.

Please see related request here: https://one.workfront.com/s/idea/0870z000000PSUjAAO/detailOpening this request to specifically request/confirm availability of program details export functionality, including custom program form data. This functionality has currently been applied to projects, and is a great feature that should also be expanded to program details.

Connector for the Aprimo DAM system for better integration for the Creative process to push assets to the DAM system with streamlined data points across both tools.

We lost the ability to print a timesheet to a PDF when we switched from Classic to the New Experience. In Classic, we could easily print a timesheet to PDF and capture all information. In the New Experience, it gets cut off and you can only see the top line of the timesheet. We'd love to see the print to PDF functionality restored in the New Experience.

Workflows would benefit from the ability to have tasks contain checklists and rich text descriptions. Often times, a work item has many granular steps that do not warrant the overhead of managing multiple tasks. This would let users focus on a single task and understand what is needed to get the work done.Especially as more teams move to Agile Marketing, these features would allow kanban boards to function more effectively as only tasks are currently displayed on boards.

When connected to third-party cloud providers like Box.com, It would be extremely user-friendly to be able to create new folders within a selected area of the third-party tool. The current state allows users to connect and view/add documents to the cloud provider but does not allow a new folder to be created from within the integration.

It would be very useful to be able to apply formatting within ProofHQ comments.

This is a HUGE problem for us. Unlike the assigned work, the unassigned work section of the Workload Balancer will not display Projected Dates. Therefore, if work is not assigned and the Planned Dates are no longer in the range that the resource manager is viewing, it is forgotten. There needs to be a better way for managing late work as there will always be late work.

Expose issues at all parent task levels instead of only the exact task or project levels. This would create ease of usability as we add many issues to sub-tasks. Having these issues exposed at the parent task prevents you from needing to click into each task.

Hello! This isn't so much an idea as a visual improvement suggestion for Experience. Several of my creative users are complaining about lost real estate when viewing reports. They suggest that the header is too big (The word JOBS with the icon). It does look like the row that it's on could be shortened. The Add Attachments tab isn't working for me (Chrome) so can't post screenshot. Thanks for listening. Wasn't sure where to post this.JM

In NWE when a new story, task, issue etc etc is created you display a nice informative toast display. You should include the link to the newly created item

During a project we have several document review stages, however due to the nature of when in the process they happen it doesn't make sense to do them all on one task; our compliance function for instance sees the document last and we have a separate task in the template to get the marketing representative to set up that review. However, they can't link the document that was already uploaded in the previous task to the new task. I have used, on balance, worse competitor MRM systems in which this is possible so it seems strange that it isn't possible in workfront.

We have several global request queues that have 200+ queue topics due to very specific routing for each request type and region. These are really difficult to manage especially with multiple Topic Group levels and some Topic Groups that have the same name. If we could view the queue topics and topic groups on the same page in a structure that mimicked the actual queue setup, it would be so much easier to make changes.

In Classic, when a team is assigned to something I could hover over that team and it would show me who is on the team. In NWE, hovering does nothing and I also can’t click on the team to see who is on it. I have to search for the team.

Please update the logic when assigning milestones to tasks. Since milestone names cannot be reused, we've created milestones like, "Launch_1", "Launch_2", "Launch_3", etc. for project that have multiple launches. We have some milestones that go up to "..._20". Since the task list is very long, when PMs get up to the higher # of milestones, they lose track of what # they left off on. When they go to attach a milestone, it continues to show milestones #1-20 as opposed to only showing the available milestones that haven't been already used. The problem the PMs are finding is if they accidentally chose a milestone that was already used, it removes it from the task that it was already assigned to in order to put it with the task they just updated. Wouldn't it make sense to only show the milestones that haven't been used when updating a task? This logic is already used for example when assigning resources, and other items.refer to case

Hi - we are missing our old Document Summary view! Here are a few of the issues we've experienced with the updated view:1 - The design team references the document summary often and don't like the extra step in opening the document summary. is there a way to allow us to choose for the summary to always be open? 2 - Approvals section no longer provides "Details" ie - who has approved it? Now we have to click into approvals and view "details" to see it. That's three clicks vs just highlighting the document in our former view.

Sorry, there's a lot of explanation for our use case before I get to the "idea"/what we would like updated: Our users are receiving two different email notifications when a directed comment is made within a proof. One email comes from PHQ and links directly the proof itself, and the other email comes from Workfront and links to the comments section at the document level. We could turn off the PHQ emails altogether, but we want our users to go into the proof, whereas from the WF email, users are inclined to respond within the Workfront document updates page. The only Workfront email setting that addresses this is the "Someone comments on one of my work items" and that's too broad to turn off, as users might miss other updates. It would be nice to have some additional email notification settings for the proof emails that are sent and/or a more solid integration between the two systems, because the emails from WF & PHQ seem to be missing any information abou

CURRENT BEHAVIOR:When someone responds to Workfront updates via email * Recipients receive double email notifications of the message. They receive 2 emails of the same message(One from Workfront; one from ProofHQ).* Formatting in the email notification of the email looks more legible than the message posted to the Workfront project.* The subsequent message posted to Workfront has NO formatting — no line breaks or bullet points — making it difficult to read the post in the Workfront project.EXPECTED BEHAVIOR:When someone responds to Workfront updates via email:* Recipients should only receive (1) email with that message. * Can the message posted to Workfront retain the same formatting as the original email message?
