Adobe Workfront General

Does anyone know how to restore a WF program that was deleted by mistake?Could you please advise?Thank you!

Hi Team,I am using the API to create a project in Workfront successfully. After project creation, I would like to programmatically send email notifications about the project creation to a specific set of Workfront users using the API. Are there any specific APIs available to achieve this?Thank you.

I am working through the tutorials on Boards to see if this could be of use to some of our teams. However, I am finding the experience cripplingly slow. Every other part of Workfront is running at normal speeds, but simply calling up the tasks assigned to a single team seems to overwhelm Workfront. I am also seeing what can only be described as "data echoes": For example, when I tried to use another team as a comparison, it kept one of the members of the old team and seems to be ignoring the actual team. The specifics don't matter to all of you, but in general I am curious if people are using Boards, and what tips they might have to make it run at a manageable speed. (As an example: if tracking work across multiple products is a no go, that would be really useful to know.) Thanks in advance,Ryan

Has anyone had any luck or know if it's possible to run a report so I can see how many users in the system have "automatically generate proof when uploading document" enabled?

Is anyone else experiencing the challenge in the screenshot. It's been going for about 3 days now and is really limiting my progress

Hello all, Basically we want to allow users to be able to upload documents to task in a project. But we don't want them to see any custom task level details (i.e. a task-level custom form with all the task-level custom fields). Is there even a way to do this?  Thanks

Hi All. I am working a view (or a report would work too), that compares the amount of time a user has planned on a task, and the amount of time they have already added to their timesheet for the task. This is pretty easy when you have on user on a task, but becomes harder (at least for me) when there are multiple users on the same task. The custom code in this link comes close, but it is really hard to read, and you cannot create the delta between the planned and actual hours on a user level. https://one.workfront.com/s/document-item?bundleId=workfront-classic&topicId=Content%2FReports_and_Dashboards%2FReports%2FCustom_View_Filter_Grouping_Samples%2Fview-planned-hours-actual-hours-assignment-task-view.html&_LANG=en This one also comes close, but it does not break it down on an individual level. https://one.workfront.com/s/document-item?bundleId=workfront-classic&topicId=Content%2FReports_and_Dashboards%2FReports%2FCustom_View_Filter_Grouping_Samples%2Fview-actual-hours-pla

Hi Community,I'm trying to build a report to know the number of users that accessed a particular report. For example you have a report called "Time Logged Errors to Parent Task by current Login User" then want to know how my users are actually viewing the report, that is the report I want to create to know users viewing the report. This essence of this report is to know how users are consuming report. You can call it report usage if you like.  How I create this kind of report? what kind of filters do  I use? Thanks for your input.Mesh

Is it possible to assign color to pages. For instance I know the icons for Project pages and Request pages are different colors, but is it possible to change the background of the pages or even the headers so there is more of an instantaneous indication of what type of page you are viewing?

Hi,Can anybody help with this question, I'm new to workfront, trying to submit new request.  On OCEP intake form instruction, it's stated that I should choose "OMC | Marketing Evolution, Campaign, Offer & Data/OCEP Request Queue", but I don't see this option on the dropdown list, the dropdown is actually empty. Thanks.

Hello,  How can I add a grouping by document name in a proof report? I only see Document Version > File Name, but that wasn't an accepted solution by the team - they would like to see the document name/title.  Thanks in advance!

I am trying to extract the Planner data of the Resource Management through Workfront API but am not able to do so.I applied the filter in the Workfront Planner Dashboard like the same in the screenshot below which is:-1. Default Filter2. View By user3. Week4. Hours After applying this I need the data of the user with AVL, PLN, ACT, DIF, and % fields, the same as shown in the screenshot below Please, can someone help me with the correct API endpoint with all the details to extract this data? Thanks

I have a bunch of people (all the same people) who I need to add to 5 or 6 proofs. Is there a way to do this in one hit? ThanksSean

I need to remove all predecessors from a template. Is there a way I can remove them all at once?

Hi Team,When I attempt to execute the issue creation API, I encounter the following error:{"error": {"message": "You do not have sufficient access to add this Issue","title": "Access Denied","msgKey": "exception.attask","attributes": [""],"code": 0}}However, using the same user (session), I am able to execute other APIs such as fetching custom form details. What could be the reason for this error? What level of access and permissions does the user need to create an ISSUE using the API? Thanks

Hello,  Does anyone have a bit of text mode that could add Project Owner as a column in a Proof report? Thanks in advance!  Katie

I think I know the answer but wanted to pose it to the community to see if anyone has any other ideas / suggestions. One of my teams are under resourced:- They have many requests sitting in a queue.- They don't don't want to convert requests into project based on the teams work load / time availability - They have 3 different job functions working on each request (copywriter, designer, translator) who are all working on the 1 planned completion date that pulls though on the issue despite all having different durations to finish their individual tasks. QUESTIONS:1. Is there any way to break down the planned completion date? (without converting it into a project)2. Has anyone encountered something similar and have advice on how to manage this so they can all work to an individual deadline on an issue? Thanks as always

How do you create a report as an admin that allows other people to put the drop downs in to run their own report? I want other users to be able to run a report showing a certain field (record count) by x certain dates and can run it when they want?

hi does anyone know how to forecast if jobs are going to end up over-spending in the end with planned hours vs actual hour, ie at current spend rate, where the job will end up with based on hours planned in WF? It's a easy formula in excel, total planned hours - (total actual hours + total planned hour where atual hours is null), if this number is negative, means this job is likely going to end up in losses. This seems very diffcult to achieve on WF, or is there another we can look at forecasting job losses on WF? any suggestions please? thank you!

After creating a bunch of Job Roles, I am assuming each user is then assigned a role. However, I do not see where this is done in WF.

Hello, all.Never had this issue before...I'm attaching a template to my project and the tasks in the template aren't displaying. I received a "Success" that the template migrated over. I don't know if it's a View issue but clicked on all possible view options. Would appreciate your thoughts. Thank you!

Hi all,I've identified 700 projects that need to have their shares updated (we amending the instance structure), but I can't find a way of bulk updating them. Does anyone know how to do this please? Below is an example of what I get when I get when I select just 3 projects. This is selected from a Dashboard.ThanksMatt

They moved us over to the Adobe Admin console last night and how our daily digest has this banner advertisement for completing your work in creative cloud on Adobe.  That's awesome except our company doesn't use it and we're going to get people asking about installing it.

Hi, I was working on a fusion scenario where I was trying to send a single email to multiple users by using Microsoft 365 email module. Here If I add more emails by clicking "add items" button its sending separate emails to users. I want to do a single send email operation to mulitple users. Please let me know if this is possible.

Hello!I have been asked to look into creating boards in Workfront but as I'm fairly new to the application, I'm not sure which type of board is best. I am seeking guidance on how to set up a board to ensure it supports our current workflow. We use a scrum task board outside of Workfront to manage developer work in 2-week sprints; however, work is initiated within Workfront by project managers and we (the non-developer side of the web team) are assigned tasks. Tracking and viewing our tasks can be cumbersome to sort through as our tasks are usually a small part of a larger project. We are interested in seeing if boards are a good solution for us to track our assigned tasks within Workfront. The biggest gray area for me is which board do I use? I have experimented with both Kanban and Dynamic boards and not sure which one is better suited for our needs. We would need intake of existing Workfront tasks, and I don't believe we need to establish iterations as we handle scrum outsid
