Adobe Workfront General

hi. its 2022. im a person with an unconventional name (perhaps one that is in a cultural minority in the US (ie - not white) and includes punctuation). my name may be conventional in my country, but here it is not. and now i cannot edit my name to be my name. please allow special characters in name field for one.workfront and workfront live. this will also allow people to add their pronouns like this: FIrst: SydneyLast: (she / they) Gregory

Currently, there is no feature to automatically subscribe users to projects whether they are project owners or other users shared with the project.Issue requesters can receive notifications in the updates even if not tagged on them; however this does not apply to project updates.Looking for an automatic subscription or other means in which project owners can receive updates on their projects even if they might have not been tagged on

its 2022 and im queer. i look like a woman. i was born a woman. i identify outside of the current gender expressions that are available to me and as such use they / them pronouns. sometimes she is okay, sometimes he is okay. i need to be able to indicate this in one.workfront profile and to be able to configure my users pronouns, allow users to self-select pronouns, bulk upload pronouns, etc. i also need to be able to update my name without a ticket on both one.workfront and within our instance of workfront. this is because i may decide to transition my gender publicly in the future. seeing my old name (often referred to as a dead name) can be very traumatic - making changing my name as easy as possible will help me feel safe using this tool.please do this. it would mean so much to your gender fluid, LGBTQIA+, and well everyone!! some helpful information is listed below. (keep in mind, some people have MIXED PRONOUNS: she/ they)

I work with many groups of people an thus need a lot of different reports/dashboards.I would like the ability to "combine" multiple dashboards into a "main" dashboard. That way i could group the reports based on the team or work that is occuring. Example: I have pre-billing reports one 1 dashboard, and then billing reports on another. I would like to be able to add both of those dashboards together into a main BILLING dashboard but at the top there would be "tabs" similar to a browser, that would like me toggle between the two different dashboards. Allowing me to better organize my work and the reports needed.

It would be helpful if we could customize the email subject line to include the Queue Topic. We can currently include the Queue Topic ID, but not the name. This is what is sent for the email subject line: class com.attask.model.RKQueueTopic:61785a1501bf7f506688ac7723d2f95e - AlumniUpdate Spring 2022 Desired email subject line:Newsletter - Alumni Update Spring 2022 Thanks!

Would like an option where we can enable Proof Reviews to also show on the Kanban (in addition to the tasks). In our case, the ideal scenario would be:Proofs created by the Kanban team would show in a custom status lane called something like "Proofs out for review" . And when the primary decision maker has made a decision, that Proof card would automatically move into a custom "Proofs requiring action" custom status lane.

Having a program/project wildcards will allow a custom section within a project or program to run a report without the user having to answer a prompt.

When a new request intake form is open, whenever you stop and hover your mouse the name of the custom form on the intake appears. This not only seems redundant/unnecessary, in some instances it interferes with the "?" pop up for providing further directions/information on a custom field. I suggest that it is removed or that system admins have the ability to turn that function off.

Currently, the system does not stop a user from adding approval workflows to tasks or issues within a project that is already in Completed status. Email notifications do not go out and approvers are unable to log their approval or rejection. It would be nice to have a hard stop with a descriptive error message:The project status cannot be changed to 'Complete' until open approvals are completed (and list the objects with links needing approvals)The approval process cannot be attached because the project status is in 'Complete'

If a given amount of time is allotted in Workload Balancer is not used-up by the end of the week, it should be automatically re-allocated to the following week as a surplus. If for some reason, such as a user adding hours late, this "surplus" would diminish accordingly. We just feel like not having this means the automatic-ness of Workload Balancer's allocation abilities is a fascade because we still have to manually move those hours forward.

We are having to update each FTE role percentage of project work within the tool. We over 400 plus to do and currently there is no report or kickstart that will allow to to alter the percentages or even see them.

When we surveyed users who have been moved to the New Work Experience, most of them have different wants for their landing page whereas as administrators, we can only set one on a layout that the group uses. Since new work experience is about personalization and customization, it would be great if users can select their landing pages.

Ability to have project ranking within a program and across portfolio.

The correct job role is not retained against a task when a user is removed from it. Let’s say my primary job role is Project Owner and my secondary job role is Workfront Admin. There is a task with Workfront Admin job role, and if I get assigned to this task, I will be assigned as Workfront Admin as expected. However, if I am removed from this task, the system would default back to Project Owner job role (primary role) instead of the Workfront Admin role. Can this be addressed in the near future?

Would like the ability to allow multiple users to collaborate on a draft request prior to submission.

Would like the WF mobile app wrapped in InTune. Our company is switching from BlackBerry to InTune so we would like to be able to use WF mobile. Our company limits the use of mobile app to only ones wrapped in the current tool they use which as I said will be InTune.

Many of our projects have multiple tasks assigned to a Team. When a person from that team is going to work on the project, they have to click on the Work On It button, wait for the page to reload, select the next one, etc.Would like the ability to have a checkbox field that they can select all the tasks they will work on and then click the Work On It button so they will all move at once into their personal task list.

Please have requests for access to reports, submitted by users routed to the System Administrator. Currently, if a user submits a request to access reports (available in their layout), the request is sent to a random user. Please have that correct by routing the request to system admins or the person in charge of Workfront maintenance.

We want the ability to combine multiple Workfront Documents into a single Proof. Currently, combined proofs can only be created from a local file upload. We have more than one contributor to some of our collateral, so each adds their documents to the Project's Document library. When a proof is generated we need to "add the collateral together into one proof for our reviewers. Please add the function to also upload from a project's document library.

Allow a project owner to decide which queue topic emailed requests go to. The current setup chooses the last queue topic listed alphabetically.

It would be helpful if the export icon was changed. Users are always getting Indent and Export confused. Thanks!

Often, users will log time against tasks before (or without ever) clicking 'work on it' on their home page and/or changing the status from new.Allow a setup configuration option that if enabled, will check whenever time is logged against a task and change the actual start date to the (earliest) time logged, if the time logged is before the current actual start OR actual start date is blank.

When a user selects 'done' from their home page, they get an option to reverse that (Actually, not done yet).Similarly, if a user clicks 'work on it' and then wishes to reverse it, there should be an easy way to undo the click that:Changes the assignment statusRemoves the commit date

Is there a way to connect templates with predecessors? We do a lot of our projects in EN and FR so when creating the FR project we spend time repeatedly connecting the EN & FR projects. It would help us be more efficient if they were connected already.

To freeze the upper row where the total of hours appear in the workload balancer. If one needs to scroll down, the total of hours disappears. We need to scroll down and up and down and up again to see if planned hours in a project isn’t overloading a day.
