I need the assignee to a task to receive a Task now ready to start notification for a task that has a predecessor in a different project. When i tested the notification was only sent if the predecessor was in the same project. Is there a way to get this to work? Or, is there another way for the assignee to this task to be informed when the task in the other project is completed?
I'm trying to create a column that will display the link to a brief document on a project. I tried the below text...and think I hallucinated it working yesterday...but it is not displaying as I expected. Description -Text formatting only applies to data within the columns in project view and user reports and cannot be applied to column headers and it looks like that is why change the color in the headers is not possible. Why is this feature important to you - Our organization wants to stop using excel and have everything in workfront however custom the column headers like excel is not possible. How would you like the feature to work - Change fill and font colors in the headers using an option or the text formatting. Current Behavior - Header in the project views and user reports are not customizable filled color is gray and font color is black.

Hello - I'm pulling a template report to audit the use of our templates. I have the right filter to see the templates, but am wondering what field can tell me when they were last used? Maybe there isn't one? Maybe I need to run a project report for the last year and see what templates were used instead? Thanks in advance for any suggestions - and happy holidays.
I would like a report to show me total number of tasks completed for the entire project duration ....summarized by month. So if each month we completed 10 tasks, the report would show a bar of 10 for January, 20 for February, 30 for March, etc. I've got the report built, but I only show totals for the month.... so 10, 10, 10. How can I aggregate the total for the project at each month?
We were trying to implement proofing through workfront. We send .msg file (outlook emails) email proofs to our stakeholders. This outlook file format is not supported in the workfront proofing process. The email proof gets uploaded but it fails in generating the proof (added the error screen shot below). Can we have this .msg file format added as well in the documents to be uploaded.

I have a job role I need to apply to several 100 users in the Other roles area as they all have primary roles. I was hoping to do this via Fusion but I've not been able to figure out how to update the USRROL properly for a user. Anyone have experience doing an update like this to provide a bit of guidance?

Hello WF team, I understand that the right-click functionality in the project view was removed due to the implementation of a new Spectrum component. However, this feature was particularly valuable for many of our users, especially when working on multi-asset projects where it is essential to have multiple tabs open simultaneously (e.g., Documents, Multi-Asset Issues, and Tasks tabs).Given its utility, I kindly request that you reconsider reintroducing this functionality in future releases. Restoring it would greatly enhance usability and efficiency for users managing complex projects.Thank you for considering this feedback.

With custom fields added to cards are we able to search or filter the board by these custom fields within the cards?
We would like to have a field on the Task object that includes the total number of Assignments that exist on the task. (i.e. the number of items in the assignments collection.) This would let me highlight tasks in reports / custom reports that have multiple assignments.
How would one go about extracting data from WF into Google Sheets? I'm assuming through a connector via the Data Connect? Would love for anyone smarter than me to explain the process to me in laymen terms. Thanks in advance!
I'm trying to get at total planned hours for each of the roles within my workflow templates. There doesn't seem to be a way to see this within the template itself, so I'm guessing I need to build a report?I've tried building a Template Tasks report but can't seem to get at the information I need. Part of my issue is that for most of my tasks where multiple roles are assigned (e.g. Writer and Designer), the Planned Hours are not split 50/50. It might be more like 85% Writer and 15% Designer (these hour ratios are all set within the Assignments section of a task within the template).I feel like I need the equivalent of an assignment-level report but at the template level, so I can get at something like "assignment >> workrequired" for the role instead of the task.Can anyone point me in the right direction?

I am looking to report on the Planned Duration of a Project vs the Actual Duration. I know I can look at the planned duration of the template, but I'm looking specifically to report on the planned duration of the project (since the templates are just a starting point/ some projects do not use templates). Is there a way to do this?
I trying to run a report that shows 2024 projects with Proofs that have 4 or more versions. I am not able to do it with regular reporting, any idea on how to do this with TextMode?

Hello all, I'm hoping someone can assist me with a calculated field question. My goal is to be able to create a pie chart which shows a breakdown by percent of the segments we support. he data is being gathered via multi-selection drop down lists. In order to create the chart I need to add groupings to my report but you can not group data from multi-selected fields. My solution is to create a calculated field populated by the selection in the multi-selected field. For instance if the field Name is "Cat" and the options in the fields are "black", "white" "tabby", etc. If any of those options or all of those options are selected, then my calculated field pulls in "Cat". My grouping in the report could be "Cat". Can anyone assist with the calculated field formula? Thank you very much.
Description - We see a need for temporarily blocking time entry to a project but allowing the project owner to build and adjust the plan they're working on. Right now Dead and Complate statuses block time entry but also block most of the ability to manage and manipulate the project tasks. It would be great to have some sort of master control that would allow blocking time entry across the project. We do want assignments to be in place to help us with resourcing and planning data but we do not want to accidentally have time put to the project before we're ready to fully activate it. Once a user is assigned, they can generally find the project if they search and we regularly see people finding projects like this and logging time before the project has been activated. I have one user who constantly adds his updates to his initial request instead of the project. I explained to him that we need him to post his updates in the project updates, and gave him a tutorial on how to do that. Today he sent screen shots showing me he can't access the project updates, and so far I haven't been able to figure out why. He's got Contributor access, and I always grant project access to requesters when I convert them. Is this something affected by the new licenses? Am I overlooking something?
Unable to add existing user to current proof. I'm using the Share > Add Recipients option, the name/email comes up but nothing happens when I click on it. I've rebooted and tried in both chrome + safari. When I searched the community board, the "workaround" provided was "Use another method to share the proof." Anyone else experience this issue / have a solve?
