Adobe Workfront General

The new delegation of tasks and issues functionality is exciting, but I believe many users will find this first iteration impractical. It would be a rare scenario for us to have a user delegate ALL of their tasks and issues to one single person - who has time to carry the full workload of another user? Instead, it would be much more helpful if users could delegate tasks and issues on an individual, project, or program level.

Ability for outlook calendar schedule synced in wf calendar could be tied to workload balancer to take in the utilization of meetings schedule through outlook.

Ideally we would like Gcal to sync with WLB to ensure that client meetings are taken out of available capacity. Why is this feature important to you - assists with our capacity management and ability to have accurate avails for the team How would you like the feature to work - Create a meeting in Gcal > select WF meeting > integration syncs with the individuals personal calendar and/or reduces capacity Current Behaviour - manual process to include meetings in projects to enable a view in WLB

It would be nice to have the adjustments that users make to the Gantt in a project remain in place as they move from project to project or reload the page.   Gantt Timespan - Give the ability to users to change the scale of the Gantt chart. The current default is Fit All. Would like to be able to change to Year, Quarter, Month, etc and have that selection remain Gantt ON setting - when a user turns the Gantt on, have the Gantt pane remain open even when the user moves on to a new project or reloads the page. Gantt width - when a user drags the Gantt wider or narrow, that width setting should be preserved even when the user moves on to a new project or reloads the page. Thank you!

Ability to add a custom list tab, where the user is able to control the column in the list. The line items are not linked to specific object within the Workfront. The new list object would still need to be available for reporting.  Why is this feature important to you - I have group request custom lists to hold project level data that does not have a logical limit that would be created via a custom form. How would you like the feature to work - At bottom of Project tab list add a button to create a list, (Under the add Dashboard) When a new list is created and name it would appear in the tabs list for that project.  Once created the next question to the user would be what columns they would need in the list. List would then work similar to the exist risks or expenses list. Current Behaviour - Does not exist

We're converting over to New Experience in my organization and one thing that was called out to me was that the updates page for tasks and issues no longer shows the reference number. In the Classic UI, it was on the right side of the screen in the "box" with all the other information that has now migrated to the header (assignee, due date, status, etc.), Our organization is very ticket#-focused and while not having this on the update page doesn't break functionality for us, it does create a couple extra clicks to find the information in the details page.

The User hot links have become too sensitive. If my mouse passes over a user a name, there profile box pops up and you have to manually close it before you can do anything else. This should only stay up if you are hovering, you shouldn't have to close it.

In a custom form you have to wait for a save operation for a calculated field to calculate. However if the calculated field is in a list view the calculation happens immediately. I would like to see the calculated field calculate immediatley while in the custom form.

Hello,Currently if a comment is deleted on a Proof, it is not deleted from the Update Stream, which is causing confusion for some users. This functionality was a available previously. It would great if it would come back.thanksJennifer

Provide a toggle to adjust the UI between its current padded out appearance, and a more streamlined and information dense appearance. This is especially critical when trying to use kanban boards (on workfront i can fit 3 cards vertically. on trello i can fit 15 cards vertically. At the very least it would be nice to remove some of the unnecessary padding around the headings.

I like the ability to schedule repeat report deliveries! It would also be helpful if we could choose whether or not to have the system send reports when there are no results for a report. For example, I don't need to receive this emailed report telling me there are no new results: Also, it would be helpful if we didn't receive reports on holidays that are added to the system schedules. It just creates noise in our mailboxes. Thanks!

Hello, It would be SO beneficial for my current company and all companies I worked for in Workfront if there was an asset/deliverable/product object just like statuses/companies/priorities/etc. Overall, just like when you want to customize something like statuses it would be great to make your deliverables set objects that can be customized by group. The way I have also done this was more with custom fields, but with custom fields you lose the opportunity of attaching one object to another automatically. For example, it would be amazing if you can create a deliverable object and directly tie it to the template object. So, if I chose a template to use or a deliverable, it would automatically pull in the other. So if I check an Infographic as a deliverable object while creating project, it would automatically pull in an infographic template. This would also allow for some pretty slick reporting too! There's just so much more I didn't mention here that can be done if Deliverables

System Setup: Integrated Proofs Description: There are technically two approval systems working simultaneously. A Workfront approval and a ProofHQ (Workfront Proof) approver. This looks like a unified system to the user, but does not function the same. The approval system has not been integrated. Additional Details The Workfront Approval system uses the Approval Area in document details, and the "Ask for approval" checkbox in the updates area (for any given document). The issue is, that the initial approval your user gives, sticks with that proof for the lifecycle of that proof. Our org. uses versions, and requires fresh approvals for each document version, so we re unable to use that approval system. Instead we use the ProofHQ approver system, the one that is set up when you go to documents > add a new proof.Again, in the system, they are virtually identical, and frequently co-located. It would be helpful if we have a field used on multiple custom forms to allow a default selection depending on what form the field is on.Currently, if you select a default selection on a field that selection is applied on every form that field is used on. I'm not requesting to remove that feature. I'm asking for another option to allow the selection to change based on the form the field is on.Example:We have a publication type field on multiple request forms. It would save users time if default selections could be made for this field based on the form because it is primarily used for reporting purposes.

Need ability for Project Managers to delete their own comments without being able to delete others (Stakeholders, approvers, etc.). Often, Project Managers are pretasking with basic instructions and have to update those instructions when the work gets closer to when the resource needs to work on it.

The new timesheet layout has a lot of white space near the name of the projects/tasks, but then the actual place where hours are entered feels “smaller.” We are not able to adjust the column width ourselves. Can the product team tweak the timesheet layout to allow for more space? It would also be helpful if the column you've selected to enter time would highlight in some way. Lastly, it would be great if we could control whether or not we want to show the "Job Role" and "Hour Type" fields on timesheets. Since this information is defaulted for our users, they never need to change the information that is displayed there. Thank you!

Add a toggle or setting which allows users to switch between a monthly view of their timesheets or a weekly view like Workfront Classic had.

When building a custom form, if there is some sort of error in the build, the error message describes the conflict, but don't identify the fields causing the error. Please, please, please map the error to the field so we can correct the error.

The Enhanced Analytics area would be much more valuable if it had better filtering capability. For example, I want to be able to:Filter OUT any projects with project name containing a word, like 'admin'Filter OUT any project that doesn't include a custom form. It allows you to pull specific field answers from a custom form, but not just strip away or add in projects that have a specific custom form(s) included in the project in general. This would be a huge help.We need does not contain, is not blank, etc. like we have with report filters please!

n the new WF experience, on the Project Details section, can the default be set to collapsed for every project?

The new timesheet UI has lots of wasted white space, and for people that work on lots of projects, the amount of scrolling they have to do now is ridiculous. We only track time at the project level, not the task level, and it would be nice to only have 1 line per project to enter time on. With the grouping applied, it adds unnecessary noise to the timesheet and has the appearance of two duplicate lines per project.

When I am receiving an email from Workfront it shows from my name or the name of others submitting a request. I would like to see it appended prior to the name so it shows as Workfront: (Name). This would allow for easy sorting in my email to be able to see everything from Workfront at a glance or to be able to set a routing rule to move all Workfront requests to a folder.

Small change suggestion after 22.3 update.As a user, when I fill in the timesheet entry, once i click the 'comment' - comment window pops up and I want to be immediately able to type in it. Currently, when you click 'comment' and the small window coms up, the writing focus is not in the window. I have to click inside in order to start typing. Can the focus me in the window right away?

I need to be able to archive (or hide or make inactive) reports without deleting them. I want a period of time, before deletion, to archive them so I don't prematurely delete a report that someone my still be using. This gives users a little time to see if they need those archived reports.

Data stores are typically used as transient storage while a scenario runs.For some use cases, data stores act as a log - where success/error outcomes are recorded. It would be so helpful to be able to search a data store, and to export the visible result set.
