Hi Community, Is there any way to remove or hide the "Converted To" field in the My Requests Widget? I've looked through layout templates and it doesn't appear to be an option yet. ThanksMatt

We currently have a project setup that is more waterfall, but we need to have some project efforts follow the agile approach. Can a workstream and an interaction be created without changing a global workflow option in Workfront to use the Agile approach? Say at the project level? Alternatively, we'd like to be able to use a workstream+iteration even just as fields on our existing items to give some more clarity to the items in the project. If it's not evident already, I'm not a Workfront guru. I'm happy to provide additional context as needed.
I can easily search and find files in WF, but how do I tell where that file is stored within a project? For instance, which project folder, task, etc? Thanks,Dave

Hi all - how we can put a validation rule in a number field in Adobe Workfront so we can prevent people from entering £0 - ideally, we need to flag and not allow the user to save the custom form. any ideas? @moniqueevans not sure if you already answered this on the chat of one of the WF community calls (can't access it anymore) 😞 any guidance will be much appreciated! DescriptionWhen using the "Update a Record & Attach a Custom Form" module in Fusion, descriptive text fields appear as editable fields in the interface, even though they cannot actually be modified. This is misleading, as descriptive fields are intended to be static and only serve as instructional labels. Their presence in the module creates unnecessary noise and can cause confusion for users who might assume they are modifiable. Why is this feature important to youDescriptive fields are meant to provide guidance and context within custom forms, not to store data. Showing them as editable fields in Fusion is misleading and could result in users spending time trying to modify them, only to realize that the changes do not take effect. Our IT PMO is launching a process for IT project budget management and reporting using Workfront. This includes labor hours, labor cost, and expense, as well as budget, plan, and actual for each. Each IT role has been set with an hourly rate.We had been using one large companywide resource pool, and teams have been using Planner to manage resources - availability, planned, and actual hours. Having only one large companywide resource pool presented a couple challenges. First, when entering a resource labor budget within the Resource Budgeting section of the Business Case, a long list of companywide roles was listed, making it very unwieldy for a project manager to enter budgeted hours. Having only 3 months to enter data didn't help. This would require a lot of scrolling and page turning. Second, only IT roles have rates. Adding a budget to a role that doesn't have a rate would translate to $0. Therefore, it was advantageous to creat
Has anyone written code to show the predecessor number, name, and due date in a report field? (Not just the pop-up from hovering over the predecessor number.)
Our users are not able to see the next page option on the widgets on the home page. Is this happening to anyone else? is there a way to resolve this? you can click on that almost hidden dark spot and it shows up for a second and then slides down before you can click anything. help!
I was speaking to our adobe workfront consultants and they seem to believe there is no way to add a comment with data in it. All we want to do is avoid having to copy from excel, paste in notepad, copy again, format it and then comment. I'd like to be able to simply copy from excel in its original format and it look like that when it is pasted into the updates/comments section. The closest I can get to that is a copy as image and then save the image and then upload the image to the comments. I would prefer it look like this. No formatting needed just simple, copy and paste. Description - Ability to update tasks from the project task page that allows previous updates to be stored as historical dataWhy is this feature important to you - It will allow project managers to add updates to tasks actively while on Zoom calls. It's less clicks to just add updates from the project page vs having to click on a link then adding an update then returning to the project page to add updates to other tasks.How would you like the feature to work - We would like a field that allows tasks to be updated from the project page without losing previous updates when entering a new update (allows historical updates to still be displayed as it currently is if you click on the Task itself)Current Behaviour - Currently we have a open text field (titled: Last Note: Note Text) that links to the task updates page, we are only permitted to update this field by clicking on the task itself to enter the 'latest update'
Is it possible to make a new Task default to "Fixed Dates" type?(I can't find that option as a Project or Template setting)
When a report is added to a project dashboard update the grouping (sum) column to the project's currency and not the system default currency. Example below. Why is this feature important to you - When a user is needing a sum of multiple currency fields on a project dashboard report it can be confusing to view the project currency and the system default currency conversion in one report. How would you like the feature to work - when a report is filtered to a project dashboard the grouping sum it will align to the project's selected currency Current Behavior - the report grouping is shown in the system's default currency. If the project's currency is different it will convert to the system default currency and convert the total.
I am working to utilize workload balancer for my team. Our projects are all built from custom templates. Is the best approach to update the number of hours each task takes at the template level, and then it will update on the workload balancer tool?
Hi everyone, I am trying to set up an email notification for a specific task. I've created the notification and assigned it to a task in a test project, but the assigned user is not receiving any emails. The notification is supposed to be sent as a reminder 3 days before the task is due. Has anyone experienced this or have any suggestions on how to resolve it? Thank you!
Is their a way to export all calculated fields with the formula you have on that field

Description - It would be great if the Text Field with Formatting had more standard formatting options available.Why is this feature important to you - Copy and Paste from standard apps do not transfer accurate formatting; in addition, sometimes there is a need to indent or outdent and that is not currently possible. Font size cannot be changed. This morning I have received 3x Workfront notifications via email: A comment on a proof (I am tagged)A new proof being uploaded (I am a Reviewer/ Approver)A comment on the Updates tab of a project (I am tagged)In the Slack app I only received one: A comment on a proof (I am tagged)I have noticed that not all notifications come through to Slack, despite me having all the notification types checked in the app settings.Based on An update is made to a task, issue or project you are subscribed to and Someone includes you on a directed update shouldn't I at least have received a Slack notification for the comment on the Updates tab?
I think I know the answer but this community is awesome at quick clarifications: I am putting together a "Here's Why Priorities Might Work For You" deck, and one of the initially interesting features was getting access to Project level document folders from within Priorities. We do all documents at the project level rather than task level to centralize them. I thought having access to project folders on a pre-built task report would make a lot of people happy, especially as we work through rounds of edits. Being able to stay in one window but access dozens of project folders seems like a win. However, it seems that you can't actually "see" the documents from Priorities, you can only add. This means if you wanted to add a new version of a document, you still have to go into the project to do so. Can someone please verify I have this correct? Our team is currently onboarding Workfront. We plan to use issues for our web production team to manage one-off requests like a doc upload or simple change that does not need to go through a full project process. These issues come through our request queue and then we are simply converting them to tasks from the request queue. There are 3 users trying to manage the request queue. Is there a simple way for us to hide the issues that have already been converted or to add a column that shows a field identifying which issues have already been converted?
Hi, I'm testing some new release functionality is Preview and wanted to check if want I'm experiencing is as expected. I can only add images to the update section comments after I've submitted the post. I can't add the image while I'm writing the original comment. Is that normal?I'm trying out the new image drag and drop option, but I think this was the same when having to navigate to the image from the device. ThanksMatt
