How do I show projects (group or filter) by quarter?

You can give a try by creating a project report. Then add Project Name and Project Planned Completion Date by Quarter of Year. This grouping you can do either in standard or matrix.

In Filter add Project Company and select the option in chart. If I understand correctly.
