Approval Workflows share with group and teams

I am very frustrated by the lack of sharing ability with the Approval Workflows.

why is the functionality limited to either a specific person, or the entire company?

so either i spend time selecting the exact users for over 400 different workflows. OR i share it with the entire instance and everyone has access to everything in a giant never ending list?

We need to be able to share with specific groups and specific teams, Exactly the same way that all the other sharing permissions operate.

Hi @MattEl5, are you talking about the Approval Process that gets attached to e.g. task, project, etc.? Those can be “shared” with groups? Under the option “This approval process can be used by..”. Does this help?

hey Nino, thanks for reaching out. i only see something able to share with Everyone or specific users.
this is an approval template. we use it for documents. Im not sure if its usable for other objects.

@MattEl5, ah I think you are talking about https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/workfront/using/review-and-approve-work/document-reviews-and-approvals/manage-asset-review-and-approval/create-approval-template - I was referring to the “old” approvals under “process” in Workfront set-up.

Apologies, I do not have this available in the system so I cannot check how it looks for me, but given your screenshot, I belive this is a current limitation of the system. 😔
