Journal Report why can select the current data

Does anyone know why I can't select the current month in the journal report? I want to run a report from June 1st to today, but the field won't let me.
Hi,
It's because you've got an end date that is sooner than your start date. (i.e., you have the end date set as 31st May, and you are attempting to pick a start date in June).
If you clear your end date, or set it to the end of June, you will find that the system will let you set a start date as the 1st June.
