Filters should show a maximum of values to be filtered

While I tried to filter users, I set the option EmployeeCode, and selected “Is Any Of” and pasted 1000 user employee codes, it broke the page. 

It should not be like that, if it cannot process the filter it should show a warning or say something instead of being unusable, even when reloading the browser did not work.
