Panelist Questions & Answers:
-
What's a Workfront hill you used to die on that you've since climbed down from?
Panelists said they’ve shifted from rigid, one-size-fits-all approaches to more flexible, practical use of Workfront. They also embraced "good enough to launch" implementations and accepted that Workfront isn't meant to replace every system. -
What's a feature or capability you initially disliked but now love?
Custom forms, groups/group admins, Home 2.0, Fusion, and Canvas Dashboards all grew on panelists as they gained experience. Many became essential tools for scaling administration and improving user experience. -
How has your approach to governance evolved over time? Are you more strict or more flexible than you used to be?
Panelists are stricter about core governance like access, naming, templates, and security while allowing teams flexibility in how they work. As organizations grow, governance becomes more structured through documentation, committees, and standardized processes. -
What's something you used to spend a lot of time building, maintaining, or perfecting that you now keep much simpler?
The group moved away from complex customizations toward simpler, native Workfront functionality and reusable templates. They also streamlined reporting and focused on teaching users self-service tools instead of building one-off solutions. -
How has your perspective on user adoption changed?
Success comes from making Workfront intuitive and fitting it into existing workflows rather than forcing adoption. Panelists now prioritize strong design, communication, and power-user champions over trying to win over every skeptic.
