Adobe Workfront

I am trying to create a report where I can switch the mother-child relationship such that I can overview all the main tasks and their status. Currently the project set-up can be viewed as this structure:Product 1Order materialsMaterials receivedAssemble productProduct 2Order materialsMaterials receivedAssemble productProduct 3Order materialsMaterials receivedAssemble productEtc. Now, I want to make a report that switches this hierarchy around such that:Order MaterialsProduct 1Product 2Product 3Materials ReceivedProduct 1Product 2Product 3Assemble ProductProduct 1Product 2Product 3 I tried multiple groupings and filters but I cant quite figure it out. We are new to Workfront and our now kicking off Projects.  Our Project Managers are interested in using the Baseline to capture schedule changes.  When we look at the reporting options for Baseline Reports, it's somewhat confusing.  What we are wanting is a report that a Project Manager could pull where they would see their projects and the captured baselines showing which tasks were late and how many days were impacted.  Is this possible?

Just watched the segment of GenStudio during The Skills Exchange Virtual Live event and noticed that my Workfront Home Page did not look like the demo that was being shared. Is GenStudio free to upgrade? It is great for AI? We are looking to upgrade to Fusion - how will this impact possibly adding GenStudio in the future? We use reporting a lot for executive leadership so we want to make sure we're making our platform intuitive and user friendly with automation, but not messing up the tools and features we need for our team.

Hi, I'm using a custom API call to add Sharing permissions to an issue.  URL: issue/shareMethod: PUTQuery String: accessorObjCode = GROUP, coreAction = EDIT, accessorID = 63ae2a......., ID = 63g.........This is working fine.  What I'm struggling with is checking to see if the needed Sharing already exists on the Issue.  Is it possible?I've tried getting the accessorIDs but not sure how to get what permission is applied.I've also tried getting the accessRules, but that got me nowhere.Any help is greatly appreciated. thanks,Kelly

I know this has been asked before, but I didn't find any of the answers worked so I am bringing it up again. As the subject says, we are using a scenario to assign multiple users to a task. The basic create task module only accepts a single user ID. Updating the task with another "Assigned To ID" seems to only replace the assignment, not add to it.  Multiple people suggested using the misc action module, selecting task, then "assignMultiple" which seems pretty straightforward, but I keep getting errors. According to the module, userIDs and roleIDs are required, but I can pass "emptyarray" for the roleID.  Attaching a screenshot of the error I get, I'm not sure what it's referring to.

Does anyone have a better way to pull all group admins than pulling all the groups and including userGroups:isOwner? I'm trying to compile a list of all the group admins, but so far that's the only way I've found, and the issue I have with that is it gives me all the users in the group instead of just the owners. I'm hoping there's a better way and I'm just not seeing it.   Thanks.

Hello Everyone, I am looking for some suggestions on the Securing Webhook topic in WF Fusion. Below are the details 1. I tried to use the OOB Webhooks module to generate a Webhook, that will be used by a third party to POST Json objects. 2. I would like to consume this data & perform a mapping functionality, that'll be later used to create a Workfront object. The Questions I have are as below, 1. How do I secure this webhook ? IP whitelisting would not work in my case as we are using ALB of GCP (i.e) Dynamic IP. Note: the reply on this post wasn't helpful because the user who posts the json doesn't have to be on WF.2. Frame.io seems like a good alternative to webhooks, but does it come with an additional cost ? Thanks in advance !

Hi all, I've noticed that some of my legacy search modules on one of my Scenarios have started failing. This Scenario is a biggie, but not the biggest one of our collection. The error message: [500] Database error due to invalid SQL statement. The solve is pretty straightforward: Swapping to the newer search modules. But the thing which is mildly terrifying is that they're failing one by one at different intervals. I try to reduce the number of search modules because I want to find all the data that I need pretty early on. That said, for some of our "Swiss Army Knife" style Scenarios, we need different search modules for different objects.  Are other people noticing similar behavior from their search modules? I'm not going to lie, it's mildly terrifying--especially since I'm on vacation in a little over a week. &#x1f605 -j

I trying to enhance our current WF reports that list out Parent tasks along with all of their children or sub tasks. I have that figured out but I've had a request to enhance reporting where it would show the Parent task but also any upcoming successor tasks(or the next one lin line) and their status. This would help users see which task is next in line or how many children tasks are upcoming. 

As the Workfront platform expands across different lines of business in your organizations, how are Admins solving for request queue access?   Let's say we have a request queue for Marketing Materials, but only a subset of users in the organization needs access to the queue - are you sharing with groups, teams etc? How are you managing those assignments at the user level.   Trying to brainstorm and think about how best to accomplish this without a ton of need for user management that takes up Admin time.

Hi All,Having looked through this resource I can see that some users have been able to use the internal Fusion API. Instead of iterating/filtering over items to create a new list of forms, fields or other objects, it literally takes 2 modules: The first to transform the object into JSON, the second JSONata. I wanted to find out who the project or instance admin vs. rely on tribal knowledge for this. This is so one can communicate need for access or any customization that may be needed on a project or instance.   So "About" under Help would be useful to cover the instance and admins.  Similary on a Project summary apart from the project owner knowing who the admin is would be valauble.
