It would be helpful to be able to add a column on a report view that show the filters applied for a given field. The reason for this is as we change terminology, we need to go back and fix all of our reports that use the old status names or terms. This would be a quicker way to visualize what filters are applied and need to be updated as we adjust status names and terms.

When planning a new iteration, we would love it if the capacity would automatically calculate for the team. It would sum the available hours of each team member between the start and end date of the iteration (taking into account time-off, FTE, and individually assigned tasks). We would then set the focus to come up with the hours or points on that sprint.

In layout templates, you can rearrange the primary tabs and remove them using layout templates but you cannot change anything on the secondary. Ideally we would want to move "custom form" before "overview"

When my designers receive the email notification for each task they are assigned, they are confused at first glance because the project number is not in the subject line with the task name. This would be helpful so they can sort in their email and pull together all their task notifications associated with the project. Food For Thought! - Stephanie Koukas

In a project, is there an easier way to send a note to all project members.. Right now I’m going to more/staffing/people/update all. Is there a command from the Updates tab to do this, or could a shortcut button be added to the updates tab? Mark Kochanowski

Hello, In the example below, the timesheet notifications for 2 employees are bundled into the same message and it is hard to see that. I’m sure managers will not see that there may be more than one person on the list of notifications. I suggest updating this functionality to generate separate notices for each individual to the managers or improving formatting of the message or adding functionality to customize the message for managers so it’s clear that there are multiple people on the list. Thank you. You are receiving this notice because you have an Open Timesheet or Less than 40 Hours per Week submitted. This has been escalated to your manager and the

For the notification "Task Is Complete On A Project I Own", it would be great if it was only when someone else completed the task. The PMs really do like this notification but it because a little ridiculous when they are cleaning things up that they are getting a ton of notifications for things they themselves are doing.

Would love to be able to select multiple teams in Setup or in a report and then bulk edit their settings.

We love the Resource Estimate object type for reporting and in the current solution, the allocation date is Sunday of the week. We would love it if the allocation date would be daily. This would allow us to do monthly reporting (as we do go from the 1st to the 31st of the month) as well as show us how resource contouring is effecting things.

When building task reports, we do a lot of groupings by Program but this is not a native out-of-the-box connection. We can do it via text mode but then we cannot can advantage of charts/graphs and summary view.

Instead of just saying Pending for Proof Details (the area underneath the thumbnail on the right hand side), it would be great to see what stage(s) are active. It would save the project owner a click.

If a Proofer clicks the three dots for a stage and hits Message All (or even a single person), that becomes the custom message for all stages and all future versions until it is changed. Ideally, the custom message that was created at the beginning of the route would stay and any additional messages sent to a stage or person would be just to that one stage or one person.

We'd love to have a way to identify who is a freelancer vs a FTE. We'd then like be able to see the difference in reports, working on calendar, and resource grids. Very important as one of the big ROIs for the tool is to reduce freelancer spend. We can easily add on a custom form a check box if someone is a freelancer. However, that doesn't help us out when looking at resource grids or working on calendars. We just need something as simple as freelancers are in italics while FTEs are normal font.

When your task is ready to start, you get an email notification that all your predecessor tasks are completed. However, the email title is the name of the predecessing task, NOT the task that you are assigned to work on.

Ideally, when someone sets sets their Outlook calendar showing that they are out of the office, WF their calendar/availability in WF should automatically update with this info and list them as unavailable for the same time. The system should have options to factor in Tentative, Busy, or Out Of Office. Personally, I only want Out of Office to be factored in, but others might want to block availability for meetings and other non-WF work so they would select to pull in Busy.

I would like to be able to customize the my work section to flip the name of the task and the name of the project. Since there is nothing to really do in the task, I want my folks to click into the project, but the name of the task is what is front and center.

Since we don't use timesheets in our WF system, we'd love to have the option to remove if from the Mobile app for our users. We know they can manually turn it off, but it would be great if we could just do that for them.

As System Admins, we would love to be able to give people certain documents in their Document tab so they have access to them right away. Example: Training Manuals for Agency 1. Would love to have the ability to put the training manuals in Agency 1 layout so that anyone we assign that layout, will see those manuals when they go to Documents on the top nav.

It would be great to restore a previous version of a document. Because we are integrated with proofing, we can't delete the most current version of a document without loosing the proof for every version. So we have to download previous version, upload as a new one, remove the messed up one and then have two version that are the same. It is not ideal.

This is just a little thing, but it would be great if the number of documents in a folder showed up in the left nav of the documents as well.

When a custom form is created you can choose to select date & time. However, time is not an object field and therefore not able to provide data. This feature is important as we use the time stamp in a few instances.

We would love it if your settings for exporting the new Gantt view were saved. It is a little annoying to have to re-select paper size, orientation, what I see v. multiple pages, etc. every time.

When you drag and drop an item over the top of another one so that it creates a linked version, it would be helpful if it updated the file name of the document so that you could see which version it was. I know it shows it in the box on the right hand side, but it's a bit confusing when the original file name is listed (particularly when we have standard company naming conventions that go astray when using this option).

Could we have a Custom Form option in the idea exchange please, as it would be easier to see what other ideas have been submitted previously rather than having to trawl through the "other" option.

One of the ways a user asks for approval for a document is going to the updates area, makes a comment and then click the people icon so they can tag users and then hit the checkbox: ask for approval and then submit. When the user does this, sometimes, not everyone who's tagged needs to be an approver, the user just wants to inform them about the document. It would be easier if there is a checkbox beside each tagged name to indicate these are the people to ask approval from.
