Since the launch of Blueprints in 2021, the solutions represented in the catalog have primarily all been focused on Project Templates. We are excited about recent developments in the Blueprints product capabilities that now allow the creation of Custom Forms, Reports and Dashboards, Projects and Queues, and a variety of other configuration objects.    While Blueprints product features will continue to follow the normal quarterly release patterns that we rely on for other product features and capabilities, new Blueprints solutions will be added to the catalog on an on-going basis as new content is ready. This means that the normal communication channels for releases are not the best mechanism for us to highlight and announce new Blueprints solutions.    The purpose of this blog post is to provide Adobe Workfront customers visibility into the catalog contents that are being released. As we release new content to the Preview environment, we will make an announcement as

With another system outage/major access problems this morning, I'm going to start the conversation with our procurement team about how to get $$ back from Adobe given all the downtime and lost productivity that these problems have caused teams at my organization. I've been a system admin for Workfront for close to five years, and have never experienced as much inconsistency with access than I have in the last 6 months. Have others been successful in recuping money given actual down time being more than what the contract states we can tolerate?

In Workfront, the Templates we build for our teams tend to fall into two major categories. The first is the standard end-to-end workflow for every project type. These come pre-configured with many other settings/features to streamline creation and work management; standard folders, internal queue settings, custom forms etc. The second type of templates are setup as collections of ad-hoc tasks meant to be appended after a project is created for things that aren't done very often (custom legal approvals) or needed repetitively (extra client edit rounds).   The second template has minimal additional features, expecting the project they'll be added into already including them. Inevitably, someone creates fully new projects from them by mistake, and this creates reporting discrepancies and trouble tickets later. I have long wished for a way to block creation of new projects from those templates, while still allowing the person to append the tasks when needed.   With the implementa

Did You Know? Basic Text Mode Filters for Beginners At Workfront, we are passionate about creating real solutions that provide you with a better, more productive work experience. The next several blogs will focus on a topic you asked for — basic text mode for beginners. Why Text Mode: Text mode unleashes the full power of Workfront reporting capabilities; unlocking your data in ways that make more business sense to your organization - for example, by combining columns, or accessing a wider variety of fields, including your custom fields.   This week we’re sharing some introductory notes, along with a few examples of text mode for filters. Text mode is the programming language used to create reports in Workfront. Although you may not realize it, each time you add a filter to a report, text mode is applied in the background. The clean user-friendly interface of the Report Builder was designed for people like you and I, who don’t have programming e

Hi All,I've got a Workfront webhook as the first module of a Fusion scenario. The scenario is meant to run when the Home Team of an active Workfront user is updated - but it's not working. Here's how it's configured:Record type: User State: New state Filters: HomeTeamID Changed AND IsActive EQUAL true AND connection updates included Record Origin: Updated Record OnlyWhen I update an active user's Home Team, the webhook is not called so the scenario does not run.I did some testing and figured that the issue is caused by the filter IsActive EQUAL true.If I create a webhook withouth that filter, it just works fine. (Obviously it is also called when an inactive user's Home Team is updated - which is not what I want.)Record type: User State: New state Filters: HomeTeamID Changed AND connection updates included Record Origin: Updated Record Only Can someone please tell me what is wrong with this filter?Thank you,Tibor

Have any of you that might be on the Ultimate license term used or experimented with Business Rules (underneath Setup)?  I have found it can be a good tool, like a Swiss Army knife, to use in situations where you might not think of a solution.  I'll share a few instances below that have been useful for our firm and would love to hear how others utilize the function.   Users not attaching document to request - users were forgetting to attach docs (think brief) to requests and just submitting, making it difficult to supporting teams to know what was needed.  A business rule was created that looked at that project request queue and to see if the has Documents=false on the request.  False means no docs on the request so when user clicks Submit the request doesn't submit and they get a red banner message telling them to include document for submission...attach a document and the submission goes through. Assure an answer in a section of a form - we have a

Our team is a small Marketing team, and we have a need for an all-inclusive Content Calendar (screenshot below) that can show:Spans of campaign in-market time (not working on the project time, but actual in-market/after launch time)Individual Launch dates for items like social posts, email sends, blog posts, PR posts, etc.I've done my best to solve 50% of this (the individual launch dates) by using little emoji's in each "Launch" task in a Project Timeline, so that it auto-populates on our Calendar. However, I have not been able to figure out a way to automate the spans of the dates that a campaign is in-market. It's making me crazy. For now, I'm manually adding them, but I'd love to fix that. How are you doing this, if you are?? Or, even if you have something similar, bring it on! I'd love to see how others do this, and any ideas you have around naming convention, automating the tasks to the calendar, etc.  Any and all input/ideas are appreciated!!

Hi, I am a classic waterfall PM and Workfront Admin. About a year ago I started using the Workfront Kanban functionality to track and move forward some web governance work. Recently my company paid for me to attend some general scrum training, and I just received my PSM 1 certification.  I would love to connect with someone who is currently using scrum within their marketing department. I have some questions about how you define products; your cross-functional team make up and how Workfront plays a role in your documentation.

Custom forms in Workfront aren’t just for collecting info, they’re your secret weapon for smarter workflows, better data, and smoother collaboration. And we know some of you are doing wildly creative things with them.    So let’s hear it: What’s the most brilliant, unexpected, or just plain cool custom form you’ve built (or seen)?  🦁   💬 Share: What problem were you solving? What made the form unique? Any tips, tricks, or lessons learned? Bonus points for screenshots (blur sensitive info!) or a quick walkthrough. We want to see the magic in action! 🪄

Contributors: @deekshapai   Tame the chaos: Let user data tell you which bug to squash first!   In a world where digital experience defines customer satisfaction, addressing product issues quickly and efficiently is more important than ever. Traditional ticket or bug prioritization methods often rely on internal assessments or predefined severity levels. But what if we could prioritize issues based on how users actually interact with your website? This blog explores how integrating web analytics data with customer grievance systems can redefine the way you approach ticket management—by aligning issue resolution with real user impact.   Why Rethink Ticket Prioritization? Most ticketing systems—while great at tracking and assigning issues—don't tell you how a specific bug affects end users in real time. Imagine a minor visual glitch on a checkout page that's causing a 20% drop in conversions. Traditional prioritization might place it low on the list. But to the busine

Hi Community, Can anybody share a good adoption report for users besides the login update, which is just a snapshot in time, but more something that increased or decreased over time?I used the Workfront Usage Blueprint, but this one is also just a snapshot and not really a good evaluation of the current user adoption compared to e.g. last year.Thank you in advance!

Displaying Workfront Data In the previous post, I described a super rudimentary way to use Fusion to generate a dummy page, and how to use that scenario's webhook URL to put that "app" into a dashboard as external page.  Let's now use real Workfront data using that use case of displaying project documents under a program. The use case is that on any given project, the user wants to check if a certain document was already attached to the program or any project in it. If it exists, no need to recreate it. Routing But before we start the surgery, let's look at the current flow: So we're going to expand the "set content" part, and because I dislike the mile-long scenario types, might as well think about routing at this point already, although not really needed yet. When I think of this I'd like to separate the "doing work" from the "send the response" part. Part of sending the response is the HTML wrapper, any Javascript etc. We make 2 branches: Regardless of what the upper branch d

Hi - I'm trying to add some exceptions to my team's default schedule, but when I go to add the days it's only adding that exception for me. I've never had this issue before. Was there an update I perhaps missed? I am a sys admin so I should have full access.  Appreciate any guidance!

1. Introduction Overview of the challenges in coordinating marketing activities across disparate teams Organizations are increasingly challenged with making sense of disparate marketing activities across their own teams. Marketing activities that are specific to a certain team are often siloed until launch, which makes it difficult for teams to understand dependencies or anticipate downstream impacts. In today’s landscape of revolutionary technology stacks, the key challenge organizations face is not a lack of data or robust tools. Rather, organizations struggle with generating real business value due to fragmented data and systems, which prevents them from achieving a seamless integration and providing actionable insights.1 The importance of structured planning and visibility While organizations have tools that can cover some parts of the process, many do not have strong connections to each phase of work where they can consistently provide results. That’s where Workfront Planning come

Good morning, I hope everyone had a great Adobe Summit both in person and virtually.  If you were in my session in person, I wanted to provide some follow up items that came up during the Q/A portion.  1. There was a question around managers and what they receive for reports.  I referred back to the Creative Resource Management dashboard use case and that we do have separate dashboards for our creative managers. I mentioned taking a look at the Expert Insights post where I talk about this use case and show a few other graphs that were not in the Summit presentation. Check out the link below. If there are still Q/A's about the capacity charts, send me a DM if you would like to chat more. Expert Insights On Demand Post & Video  2. There was a question around Fusion and some things that we are doing with it today. I described a use case that we just implemented not too long ago to automate manual email sends to our department and business partners as every min
