Disable time tracking on a specific project

We have projects that we don't want users to log time against. I've tried changing permissions on these projects to take away the ability to log hours, to make the project and task view only, and to even take away the ability to view the project and it still appears on the users timesheet. I don't want it on their timesheet at all. Is there a way to make this happen?

Please add the ability to pull rich text into an exported report.New

Description - We have custom Rich Text fields that we take project notes in. We use bullets, bolding, underlining, etc to separate ideas and make the notes more quickly understandable. When I export the report to PDF or to excel the formatting disappears. It would be very helpful if we could keep the formatting in the exported report.

Add "A" (Approved) status in the Proof Status (SOC) icons.New

Description - Each file in Workfront when a proof is created has the SOC status views. We think adding A for Approved would be a good at-a-glance look to confirm a proof has been approved rather than pull over the sidebar and scroll down to see if a proof is approved.Why is this feature important to you - It would provide less clicks to know if a number of files are approved rather than clicking into each one and pulling the sidebar to confirm each are approved when there could be over 5 files.How would you like the feature to work - We would like to have the SOC to look like SOCA where A = Approved.Current Behaviour - Currently, there is no way of knowing a list of files are all approved without clicking into each one.

Allow Administators to Delete User accountsNew

Description -After being migrated to the IMS Admin users can no longer delete user accounts from their system. The drop down menu option is still there but we can not make use of it. Give us back that capability. Why is this feature important to you - There have been occasions where someone entered an incorrect account, for whatever reason. The account is now sitting in our user list as deactivated but still there. It would be nice to be able to clean up the user list and delete unnecessary accounts. How would you like the feature to work - Just as it always has. The menu options are there, just turn them back on for us. Current Behaviour - I select the Delete option and I get an errror saying delete has been turned off and this is being managed by the IMS. But there is no way in IMS to delete either, just remove user permissions.

Workfront Boards: suddenly not pulling all tasks to kanban

I have a Kanban board in WF that - despite all the known Boards glitches - has been functioning perfectly well for driving my delivery team for a year now. Requests are converted to projects using a consistent template which sets out a specific set of tasks each time and nothing has changed. However, in the last 2 weeks, seemingly random projects' tasks have not pulled through the the board. Other, more recent, ones have (still using the same template) so its not volume in the backlog. Using the search function, I explored whether they were there but unable to show due to volume of tickets, but again no results returned - they are simply not there. The projects being excluded have nothing in common in terms of naming, besides being in the latter end of the alphabet.Anyone out there fancy trying to crack this one, or experienced similar? Even for Workfront this one seems obscure and random.

Is it possible to set Priorities as home page via Layout Template?

Is it possible to set Priorities as home page via Layout Template? Our users are interested in having it be the first thing they see upon login. See screenshot of Interface Layout settings. There doesn't seem to be an option for Priorities.  (I searched for similar questions but was unable to locate one in the short amount of time I looked. Sorry if this is a repeat.)

Manually format Task color (not conditional)

Is it possible to manually change a task color without conditional formatting?  Not sure if this is still possible, but I was previously able to create a Custom Form to make a Task color red.  I could then attach this Custom Form to a Task in a Timeline or Timeline Template which would reflect in the Task List.  Use case: I'd like to make all client-related tasks red (Client Reviews, Client Presentations, etc).  I'm already aware of conditional formatting, but this would require a rule to be created, ex: Task Names that contain 'Client.'  However, not all tasks that include 'Client' need to be red (ex: Revise based on Client Feedback).  I could do a workaround like including a symbol, such as *, but I want to keep my Task Names clean.  I also don't want to create a series of rules that include specific language in case a PM decides to change the Task Name, or use Task language that doesn't meet the criteria. Any solutions/idea

Help needed with Boards! Intaking requests through a form + linking projects

New to using Boards and am looking for some suggestions here – I am stumped! We are currently dealing with 2 scenarios for our Video team’s board… With a key piece to keep mind, we must have it connected to Workfront so that we can have reporting around this work.  SCENARIO 1: Connected Cards are manually entered to the board once there has already been a project created. We connect to task(s) which generate individual cards for each video needed. This displays the connected project on the face of the card that we can easily navigate to view the whole project, the assignees and status are synced, etc. PERFECT!  SCENARIO 2 (our problem child): Requests are submitted through our Video Request Form, which populate in our Backlog column. From here, we are converting this to a project. However, I cannot figure out how to be able to display that converted project as the connected project on the face of the card like scenario 1.. Creating a filter that only looks for a specific folder name

Hi All, I'm trying to create a filter on my fusion scenario that filters out all newly added documents that do not live in a project folder labeled "Weekly Production Report".  There is nothing native in the options that I currently see.  I attempted to use "folder:name" as a condition to my filter but that didn't seem to work. any advice would be greatly appreciated.

How to Add a User to a newly created Project in Workfront Fusion

I am trying to figure out how to add users to a project using Fusion. I have tried a Custom API call: Post and a Create Record for Project User. Neither work and produce a 422 error: [422] PRTU is not a top level object and can't be requested directly. I am trying to add a few users that will not be assigned to tasks to the new project and at the same time I need to remove the owner of the request from the converted request and add them to the project. Any help would be extremely appreciated!

Automatically tagging everyone on the project in the updatesNew

We're having huge challenges with our users not tagging people in their comments in updates. When you go to post an update in a project, could it automatically tag everyone with access to the project and give you the ability to opt people out? This would be instead of putting it on the user to remember to tag the specific people on the project they need to notify. That would alleviate users posting updates with no tagging and no one getting notified of the update.

Hi, when going to Mentions widget on Home to add a reply to a comment, after you place the text, the hit Reply, the button becomes gray and nothing happens further, the message isn't posted, the same when going to the Updates section ant trying to post a comment.I was checking for any kind of access and it's the same error for everyone.Any idea why this is not working ?thanks,Bianca

Can you use the SUM (aggregator) feature on an expression field in a report?

I have a field that pulls either the budget, planned cost, or actual cost based on the status. I am wanting that column to sum based on groupings but it doesn't appear to show anything.
