Adobe Target

Hello,I am trying to run a campaign where visitors are shown a banner on the homepage and then they will see a another banner later in the journey.  However, since users can access the journey from a number of sources we are finding that a lot more customers would be entered in the second mbox without seeing the banner on the homepage.  I was wondering if anyone knew of a way you could put a restriction on the second mbox saying only show banner if customers have seen the first.Any advice would be greatly appreciated,Michael

Not able to search any activities in my newly created account. John Mosbaugh's team created new target activity for elements but when I search I am not able to see any results . In fact, no search term displayed any results (with or without any filters). I have an observer access. Is it a permissions issue?

Hi Team, I am facing an issue when creating experiences and inserting images/banner. The image gets loaded when using the Adobe composer however when I publish or preview the experience the images is not displayed.  Any ideas why the image won't load? Could that be a content security issue? I have also tried to load the mbox asynch which didn’t help. Cheers,Jakub

Hello,I was wondering if anybody is getting the following:  when I try to access the test page in an incognito browser (Chrome), I'm getting a "Uncaught SyntaxError: Unexpected token if".  I tried this with IE and FF but only Chrome seems to be the one displaying the error.  When looking into the error, it looks like the source of the issue is typeof(s_tnt)=='undefined'.  The implementation of Target is standard, so no custom work was done.  If anybody have any insights on how to fix this, please let me know.  I'm including screenshots of the error.Thanks,Ridder H. We have been using an audience defined as audience>network>ISP includes plusnet to target our own customers (we are an ISP) and until recently this was working correctly. However within the last few weeks, this seems to have stopped working, as is now not targeting anyone at all.Any ideas what may have gone wrong?

Hi,is there a web service API for the new target? We are currently creating offers by cms pushing it via API to Target Classic. So we are looking to do the same when changing to new TargetAny similar approach for "new" Adobe Target?Thanks and best wishes, Michael

Hello. I wish there was a beginners or New user section. We are now in the process of developing some new UI and a new website and would like to do some testing with Adobe TARGET.  Need assistance with implementing Target, we are using DTM to manage. I tried to follow the video instruction but got confused, not sure if I need to put mbox.js code directly onto sight or not if using DTM. Need this done ASAP a P1 status.Can someone tell me the steps I need to take to implement Target to our site. Keep in mind we are using DTM.  Thank you

Hello,We are having issues where our webpages are loading, but our target-global-mbox is hiding the content.In the console, there is an error that says "[Target] executeAjax(): timeout : timeout".When we refresh the page, it seems to go away sometimes, but seems to recur a lot on IE.This issue occurs randomly and we are not able to point out the cause of this.We migrated to at.js recently in our staging environment, but I do not think this is the cause of the issue.I've attached a screencapture.Thanks

My team is trying to decide which is best practice.  We currently have a test where we have a Control that does nothing on the page (Default Content), and a Challenger where if the visitor lands on the control page, they get redirected (via Target Redirect Offer) to another page (let's call this page B).  For setting up the test and for visitor count to be accurate for the test, should we also include the mbox for page B for this test (and keep the offer as Default Content)?One argument (for if we include page B mbox in the campaign) is that if the visitor copies the redirected URL and uses another browser, they will be counted as another visitor.Another argument (for if we do not include page B mbox in the campaign), is that if the visitor copies the redirected URL and uses another browser, they will not be counted in the campaign conversion.Which one is correct? Hi,I have gone through the API documentation to generate the Audit report via API and i was able to do that successfully for one Campaign ID. However i am looking for a solution wherein i can pass multiple campaigns together and generate the Audit report for all of them at once. Hi I have created Campaign in Adobe Target.I want to reflect same in AEM 6.1.I have created configuration in AEM 6.1 to sync data from Adobe Target.But its not syncing data from Adobe Target to AEM 6.1

Hi, can anyone offer advice on using at.js vs. mbox.js when upgrading to Target Premium? I understand at.js is necessary for single page apps, but there is only the option to use mbox.js when using 'Managed by Adobe'. If I download the at.js file and implement through the custom code editor it doesn't seem to work (new mbox.js does btw). Any help would be greatly appreciated! ThanksMatt

HII am trying to upgrade to Target Premium on a site that has Target Classic already installed.  What I have read in the upgrade documentation is that both the new Target with Global Mbox, and target Classic regional mboxes can co exist on the page.  I have set up Target Premium using DTM (by the way I have done this on sites without Classic quite easily) for the Web property using automated mbox update, however when I check my pages the new global mbox has not appeared and in one particular journey the regional mboxes have disappeared also. So I wanted to checka) Am I right in saying that Global Mboxs (target premium) and Regional Mboxs (target classic) can co-exist?b) Can I fire mbox.js through DTM, even though there is a reference to mbox.js in the page from the Classic implementation?c) Any ideas what might have caused the Target premium implementation not to work? ThanksMartin

I'm a newbie so, apologies if this is basic. We have a test that's being performed on the last step of a car insurance purchase process. How do I preview the test variants in Target using just the URL when the site we're testing on needs a session cookie containing info entered during the previous steps to show the page?

If I use a segment from Classic in a campaign in Standard, will it still be useable after Classic is unsupported?

By analyzing A/B Tests with Adobe Analytics "Target Lift and Confidence" Report there ist the oppurtunity to switch the normalizing metric from unique visitor to visits and impression. In which case it is recommended to switch to visits from the default unique visitor?In our current case there is almost no confidence by unique visitor, but 85% with visits. I am trying to solve a mystery. We are using DTM and trying to pull in the Target PCID into Adobe Analytics via a data element. We never had issues in the past but are now noticing that we aren't getting the PCID set in the mbox cookie? The weird thing is on our Bank network, Everyone that tested got the same results:Chrome Browser Normal mode on VPN - mbox cookie without PCID but contains session idChrome Browser Incognito mode on VPN - mbox cookie with PCID Chrome Browser Normal mode at Home - mbox cookie with PCID Chrome Browser Incognito mode at Home - mbox cookie with PCID I went through and disabled all the extensions in Chrome, in Normal mode and checked all different settings I could think of ("Do not Track" etc.) but couldn't find any settings that might cause this issue? I have no idea what to look at next. On my home laptop it works in both modes of Chrome as designed. Any ideas? Adobe support hasn't been any help since they can't duplicate from their side!

Sorry, but another newbie question.When creating an AB test and a duration is set as part of the test, does this mean that when activated by an approver, the AB test will be live but will only perform the AB function during the duration time that is set?Thanks,Barry 

Hi, I'm trying to create an AB test to run on multiple pages that don't fall in to a usable blanket URL structure. As such, the 'Configure > URL' feature in the Visual Experience Composer won't cover all cases.I've added the preview URL string to view my test content on various pages, and it works across all of them with no issues.Is there a way to target tests based on consistent in-page content instead of URL? Many thanks,Chris

Hi Everyone,I'm new to Adobe Target. I just learned on how to Add Adobe Target tool via DTM. And, it looks straight forward when we use DTM(Retrieval method: Automatic) to add Adobe Target similar to Adobe Marketing Cloud ID service. So, if i understand it correctly, once we add the tool in DTM, that's it on the tool configuration. And, the next step is to choose the place/location on the webpage to target the mbox rule(https://marketing.adobe.com/resources/help/en_US/dtm/t_target_example.html). Is that correct?My questions are -    -  For eg, if i want to include the subscribe button on the website those who were not yet subscribed the newsletter similar to this feature (http://www.cssflow.com/snippets/newsletter-sign-up-form/demo). To enable this feature on the website, can we include this HTML in the DTM page level rule? Any drawbacks?Any suggestion? thanks in advance

Hi,I have observed that in the results dashboard the lift is not accurate across many experiments. According to Adobe help documents lift is = CR(Alternative)-CR(Control)/CR(Control)*100https://marketing.adobe.com/resources/help/en_US/tnt/pdf/Test&Target_reporting_calculations.pdfhttps://marketing.adobe.com/resources/help/en_US/tnt/pdf/Test&Target_reporting_calculations.pdfAs per the formula : [(0.17%-0.10%)/0.10%]*100 should be 70%However it shows : 64.44% (Refer attachment).Is there any other factor involved in the calculation ?
