Hi Team,

I wanted to confirm - Does audience need to be in same workspace in adobe target where it is being used in activity?

I have created an audience in one of the PROD sandboxes in AEP, and creating activity in same workspace in adobe target.

However, this audience is reflecting in default workspace in AEP.

I want to confirm if it affects the activity.

@shivanim  would suggest using AEP /RTCDP as an audience source across the workspace to address limitation

Hi @shivanim
In Adobe Target, to use an audience for a specific activity, it needs to be within the same workspace as the activity itself; meaning, if you create an audience in one workspace, you can only use it for activities within that same workspace, not across different workspaces.

Key points about workspaces and audiences in Adobe Target:
  • Organization:
Workspaces allow you to group related audiences, activities, properties, and offers, enabling better organization for different teams or projects within your organization.

  • Access control:
Administrators can set permissions to control which users have access to specific workspaces, limiting who can see and use certain audiences.

  • Separate data:
Each workspace can have its own set of audiences, meaning you can create distinct audience segments for different campaigns or regions without them mixing with other workspaces.

Hello,

I have a clarifying question here because I have lost connection to audiences I was targeting in RT-CDP. When I'm in my Target Workspace and I go to Audiences and select AEP audiences, nothing shows up. If I select the Default Workspace, the audiences do show up. In the Activity in my Workspace, I'm still able to target those audiences, but I'm not getting any impressions or activity. Do I need to do something on the Destination side in AEP or should it be ok since they are in the Default Workspace? Thanks.
