Discrepency between traffic numbers in Adobe Target and Adobe Analytics

We are seeing difference in traffic numbers for an A/B activity configured in Adobe Target in Adobe Target and Adobe Analytics.

The issue is that only a percentage of total users who visited the page during the testing window (as per Analytics) are triggering the test. E.g. If the page receives 1,000 visitors in a month, the test will only trigger 500 users. The team thinks it could be Target triggering issue.

Could you help with the steps that we should be checking in order to analyse this issue.

Hi @divyara31 ,

Target and Analytics use different methods to record visitors and metrics. Target uses the mbox system, while Analytics uses a tracking pixel.

Target only counts visits for visitors who qualify for an activity, while other solutions count visits for anyone who views a page.
