Can Target Premium recommendations be shown in an email?

We have recently launched Recommendations on our site and the business is wondering if it's possible to insert/merge the same recommendations into an email. Possible?

    Hi Mark,

    It certainly is possible as long as you can call Target from the email at build-time. Here's some documentation - https://marketing.adobe.com/resources/help/en_US/rec/r_Integrating_Recommendations_with_Email.html

    One of the better use cases we saw recently was passing the recipient's favourite category in the entity.category parameter and setting a best sellers in category criteria for the recommendations campaigns.
