Blocking the Demdex Call -- What are the Impacts?

If the demdex call was blocked -- what would be the impact to Adobe Target? what would be the impact to Adobe Analytics? 

 

Would targeting still work? select targeting use case work? Would analytics still work?

 

Is there different considerations for Desktop vs Mobile App?
