Adobe Target Activity Disappears After Page Refresh

Hi all,

 

When performing activities in our QA environment, we have noticed that the activity target on a given page disappears after refreshing the page. Could you please help us understand why this is happening?

    Can you explain this case little more in details? 

     

    I'm sharing few possibilities for this issue,

     

    • Its possible if the elements changes while refreshing the page, look at what is changes on the page, specially the condition or DOM elements you have to serve this experiences. 
    • Also check if its one page website or if its AB testing with very limited samples or anything or anything with cookie polity consent, consent may block the target from loading or firing the Adobe target script

    Thank you for your response.

     

    To clarify the issue: For example, when I visit the page from a specific country, the country name correctly appears in the title upon my initial visit. Our experience is based on our location. 

     

    However, after refreshing the page, the country name disappears from the title, even though it should remain visible (I'm still in the same country)  Additionally, the two Adobe Target calls that normally occur also disappear upon refresh, but they should still be present.

     

    Moreover, this is a multi-page website. 

     

    And our Adobe Target experiences are currently only displaying when accessed in incognito mode, and even then, they appear only after cookies are accepted within that mode.

    Hi @valentinch1 Can you please try pause or remove if any browser extensions are active? disable all extension and try, sometime the extensions like omnibug or any other extensions can block you.

     

    After the page refresh some DOM elements may be changes so its not meeting the condition to serve this experience. 

     

    We need to see exactly what is happening there. You can reach adobe support team to debug if nothing works.
