Using REST api,how to get(filter) opportunities by using updated timestamp

I am using REST api,and i want to filter the opportunities list basing on lates updated,But updatedAt doesnt work as filtertype

I don't believe you can filter with update criteria, per the conversation here: Re: Get Opportunities REST API requires filterType, even if doc says it's optional?
