Subfolder for LP & Disable file extension

How can we create our landing pages under a subfolder rather than within the root folder e.g.

http://CDN/subfolder/landing-page-name.html
http://ourdomain.com/promotions/winter-cleaning.html

Putting all our LPs under the root directory kills our namespace, and shows no relation for related LPs (e.g. microsite).

Also, must we have the html extension. Can we configure the site to not use an extension e.g.

http://ourdomain.com/promotions/winter-cleaning
